Daisy, herself was glad to see that Jake was in fact walked what he talked and truly did love Lily. -
Lily stood, shocked, yet excited about what her man could do.

"Jake no." Lily whispered barely audible. Daisy herself couldn't believe it.

Jake shrugged "Whatever he thinks, let him think it. I'm prepared to do what I have to." he said just when Jason happend to show up. "Leave my daughter alone you snake!" Enos demanded.

Jake grinned "What is it Lily?" he asked.

Jake nodded "I know and I'm glad. I really don't know that my parents are really on board with me being so involved to y'all like this, but I just can't let you get treated like this."

Jake's jaw twitched "I know Ms. Strate, I'm just. . .I love Lily so much."

Jake gave her a slightly annoyed look "From your perspective? Not from what Lily has told me about y'all. Besides," He thought for a second and slapped his forhead "Of course the authorites are Mr. Duke and his cousin. Well surely there's something me and Lily can do to help them."

Daisy swallowed and got into the cab of the truck, her arms around the younger kids. Jake twitched his mouth in thought "Ms. Strate. . .could you give me some advice from your perspective and your cousins?" he asked.

Once she was there the ideas were flying and Enos sadly smiled "I'm glad you're all right." he said giving her a quick kiss.

Enos smiled "Listen, I got Lily and Jake here and they're in awful trouble. Jason's stalking them and I might need your help. Oh and they have the other kids with them."

Enos nodded "Hang on a minute" he said and walked over to his car, picking up the CB "Bo Peep you out there?" he asked hoping she would reply.

Enos nodded "All right. I just want an overview of y'alls plan first."

Enos nodded, stiffening his jaw at the same time "Whatever plan you two have I'll help with baby. If you'll accept my input I'll be glad to give it also." Lily bit her bottom lip "Daddy, where's mama?"

Jake suddenly was nervous "Did she say that Jason Hogg is trying to kill us?" Enos nodded. "That's what we know of it, but in the little time I've been here I know not to trust them."

Jake looked surpprised to see his car, but stopped when Enos called his name. "Yes sir?" Jake asked. "Lily says you two havin some trouble." he asked. Jake nodded "Yes sir."

Lily tried to hold the tears back "Thanks." she whispered.

She winced at the nickname "I am at the Boar's Nest with the others and Jake. Jason Hogg is intent on killing us!"

Well this is me probably acting stupid considering the seriousnes here, but if y'all would pray for me to do good on a test Friday I'd appreciate it. I am taking a computer course this year (my senior hs year) and if I pass these three tests then I get CIW certification which is like a web master sort of thing. So I'd preciate it.

The younger ones looked on confused, but said nothing. When they got there Jake went inside, but Lily, who stayed in the truck got on his CB "Blue Boy? Bo Peep? You out there?" she asked frantically.

"I just can't! Besides that will be the prime place for a Hogg to see us!" Jake growled at her slightly "I don't care! Somebody who can help us has to be there and most likely a Davenport."

"No Jake, it's not!" she sobbed "I promised Mama years ago I would NEVER let anything happen to my brothers and sisters and look what happend." Jake bit his bottom lip "Look, let's get to the Boar's Nest and- -" "NO!" Lily cried "Not there! Anywhere but."

She nodded and rushed to grab the hands of the terrified ones on the porch. She carried Andrew herself. Mama, I let you and daddy down big time she told herself as the last of them got into the truck and Jake drove them away.

But Lily wouldn't go "Jake I can't leave my brothers and sisters." she begged.
