Daisy tried to hold back the sobbs she had in her throat. This was it, it was her fault. Just then she looked up realizing who their principal was-another Hogg. She swallwed a lump in her throat when he called her name.

(Hmm. . .I smell trouble) When Daisy got there, she was surpprised to find that it seemed everyone was in a central location. She shook her head when she heard Lily's name from the middle of what sounded like a fight. "Oh Lily," Daisy sighed "How could this all happen?"

"I'd do something if I could honey." Mrs. Wegner said Daisy nodded "I know." she whispered and walked Andrew and Andrea to their class.

What do y'all call a redneck sled? My brother's girl fridnd and I were riding on a truck bed pulled behind my brother's 4 wheeler. What's y'alls redneck sleds?

Daisy nodded as the woman seemed kind enough "Is there anything you can do?" she asked. Mrs. Wegner sighed "I'm sorry honey, but until we get some more decent prinicpals I don't know what to tell you."

Daisy nodded "Thanks Marie." she sighed and walked the youngest to their class, the twins. She was determined to meet their teacher and find out who would allow her kids to be treated in such a way.

Daisy winced slightly, but sighed "That's fine. I was hoping today, but that's fine. Could I at least walk them to class?"

Daisy nodded "How soon can you do that?"

Daisy nodded, that at least was good news "Well could I meet their teachers please?" she asked, her eyes showing her sorrow "I really need to get to the bottom of why these people are treating my kids this way."

(lol exactly what I was thinking. Thought on giving you the privelage of picking which Hogg.) "What?!" Daisy couldn't believe her ears "Well then," she began nervously "Who are their teachers?"

Daisy looked pleadingly at Marie "Which Hogg is it?" she asked parying it wasn't the worst of them.

When she got there she was met by the Secretary, Marie Carter. "Hey, Daisy what can I do for ya honey?" she asked. Daisy sighed "My kids are getting beaten up and I wanna know if I can talk to the prinicpal and thier teachers." Marie looked nervous "You do know who the principal is don't you?" she asked. Daisy was terrified "No. Who?" "Well" Marie whispered "His last name's Hogg." Daisy looked surpprised "What?!" she cried.

However, Enos did even if he tried to remain nostalgic about it. Andrea, Andrew and the others noticed it also and it had Daisy crying waterfalls in her head. That night Daisy couldn't sleep much and so the next Day she told Enos she would take the kids to school instead of Lily so she could talk to their teacher, or the principal, whichever one would listen.

(I can listen to it all day, but the thing is we're kinda falling in the same hole with a certain person who's supposed to be doing us better not putting us in more poverty and stuff) Daisy wrapped her free arm around Lily "I honestly wish I could tell you honey." Lily sighed. The rest of the night Lily was quite and said nothing and it hurt Daisy since she knew why it was.

(well how bout my new one? Tried to relate it to today) So Enos, with Roscoe's help, led Lily back to the house to talk to Daisy, who of course was cradling her daughter in her arms. "I'm getting to supper in a minute Enos." she whisperd. "Lily, wants to talk to you." he told her. Daisy looked stunned and patted the seat beside her "Come here baby. What's wrong?" she asked.

(Ok. LOVE your signature. One of my FAVORITE songs by him) Enos took her into his arms again "I know you do Lily. You love them more than the world does, as do we. If I could tell you what you could do I'd do it." Enos sighed "Wanna go in and see your mama?" he asked.

(So, you remember it?) Lily nodded "I see what you're saying, I just . . .I don't know. I just want to know what I can do for my brothers and sisters besideds love them."

Enos nodded "And I'm sure she . . ." Enos looked down "Lily, your mother has had a rough road. Nothing in life was ever easy for her. She wants to give you better, but it just hasn't come so easy for her to that either." Roscoe got down on a knee also "I should know, I'm one of the reasons, but somehow she always kept her head up high." "What you tryin' to say?" Lily asked, a little less angry. (You remember that ep "Million Dollar Sheriff?" I both part of it today. Man It had even me chocked up and it won't my uncle I thought was dyin)

Now Enos was confused "What do you mean 'I've tried'? he asked "Your mother has always done her best to cater to whatever you wanted or needed."

Enos sighed, rubbing Lily's back, something that had always calmed her "Honey, I just don't know what to do about this, but I think you ought to talk to your mama about this. She always was better at this sort of thing than I was."

Lily looked up at him, her eyes flaring with anger "Daddy, that ain't good enough. It won't stop them from being abused." she insisted. Enos sighed, looking to Roscoe for an answer.

The two men just watched her cry it out and it broke their hearts. Finally she was calm enough that Enos could take her into his arms "There, there Lily, I know it pains you the way with your siblings." "Darn right it is dadddy." Lily huffed "Ain't there anything you can do for them?"

Lily gave Roscoe a furious glare "Tell you!? You ain't even real family!" she shook her head Enos and Roscoe looked to eachother shocked "Lily, we just want to help. We know you're mad about what's happening to your brother and sister and we want to help." Enos tried.

However, Lily was in no mood for it "GO AWAY!!!" she yelled. Enos, a tear leaking from his eye looked at her with a broken heart "I just. . .I just don't know what to do for you baby."

Enos nodded "Roscoe, you mind helping me?" he asked as he still wasn't completely used to his new leg. Rosoce nodded and they headed out the back way to look for Lily.
