    "Hey." Andy joked. "Well, if you three would like to go on up. . .it's fine." Aunt Bee said.

    "Would you like to see him now?" Doc asked.

    Enos stroked her cheek gently "Well then why did you Daisy? You know I'd come back."

    Bo faked pouting and Aunt Bee chuckled "Well all boys are the same aren't they?"

    Doc nodded "That's what I was telling him when I asked you to leave. . .I know he'd hate for you to have heard that right infront of him."

    Enos nodded "Well I suppose I'm a little upset, but what can I do about it? I love you too much to make a big deal out of something stupid like that."

    Then Aunt Bee called opie to go to bed. "Aw Aunt Bee." Opie complained. "Now Opie." she said. Opie sighed and headed off toward his room.

    Enos nodded and hugged her "Thank you for being honest with me Daisy. I mean I don't see how you wound up with a guy like that, but. . .Daisy I just want you to know that I'd never cheat on you."

    (I know I'm like 'okay that was weird') Doc sighed "I know you don't Daisy and you won't. What I mean is that. . .I don't know how well he'll be working at the Sheriff station. . .he may be crippled."

    Opie nodded "Sure do. . .and cowboys, but dad said that girls don't really like that kind of stuff." Daisy chuckled "I think you'll find me the opposite of that Opie." she said.

    Doc took her into his arms "Daisy, I know that whatever happens it will be hard for you." and with that he let her cry. (Know there was that ep Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Duke. . .man I always get a laugh out of Daisy giving Doc that hug when he told them aboout whatever he said with Luke.)

    (lol . . .well make one up I wouldn't know the difference cause I never saw it. . .least I don't think i did) "Daisy. . ." Enos turned her to look into his eyes "I could never hate you. I know you love me."

    Daisy smiled at Opie, who seemed excited by the conversation his dad was having with her cousins.

    (actually it would make the story interesting. . .I wouldn't mind) Enos nodded "Daisy, I want to know what's the matter."

    Daisy watched nervously as Doc came toward her "What's the matter with Enos?" she asked. Doc sighed hesitating. "What?" Daisy asked even more terrified. "Well. . ."Doc said "Daisy, I . . .Enos has at the very least a badly injured leg, broken at that. . .and well I ran some tests that I sent to Atlanta. I won't get them till tomorrow, but Daisy." he sighed shaking his head.

    Aunt Bee smiled "Well I'm glad you think so." Andy, meanwhile sat around the table asking Bo and Luke questions.

    Then doc came over "Daisy, honey. . .could I have a minute alone with Enos?" he asked. Daisy looked at Doc nervously, but left the room.

    "Well how's Cherry?" he asked. Daisy nodded "Asleep. . .the only of us." Enos smiled "What's got your mind?"
  19. Elly May Duke
    Enos smiled "You didn't. Apparently we're both pretty restless tonight." he said coming over to her.

    Aunt Bee nodded "Y'all come on in. You can unpack later."

    "Nothing's wrong with you. . .why would you think so?" Enos, who she hadn't noticed said.

    Enos nodded "I'd hope so."

    Aunt Bee just laughed "Well, I know all about boys with big appetites."

    Enos nodded "I Know you do."

    Daisy looks over at Cherry who is sleeping peacefully.
