Enos smiled "No Daisy. . .I'll take the couch. . .unless of course you want me to put Cherry in her and you can. . .you know be close to her." he said.

When Daisy got there she saw Bo and Luke who had solem looks on their faces "Hey boys." Daisy choked. "We're so sorry Daisy." Luke said. "How is he?" Daisy cried. "Well." Bo started, looking to Luke for guidance "He wrecked and I'm really not sure how it happend, but. . .next thing you know. . .well he's alive. . .in really no danger there, but he's cut and bruised and . . .I don't know. . .kinda slipping in and out."

And a couple days later Jesse, Cooter and Enos waved the three of them off to their way to Mayberry North Carolina.

Daisy nodded and then shakily got into her Uncle's truck and he drove her to tri-city hospital. (any ideas? I have a bit of one, but would love your imput as usual)

Enos smiled "I ain't making you blush am I?" then he took Cherry from her "I reckon we ought to get her tucked in for the night and. . .where you gonna sleep Daisy?" Enos asked as he really didn't know.

Jesse smiled "I'll help you baby." and with that Jesse and Daisy got her stuff packed.

Then it dawned on her "Wait a minute." Daisy went and Elly, who with Cooter agreed to come and watch the kids while they left then she went and found Lily "Lily, please watch your brothers and sisters until your Uncle Cooter and Aunt Elly get here."

Enos smiled "I can see you with a simple little ring. . .nothing fancy. . .seems so you . . .beauty, but subtle."

Jesse nodded "Well if you happen to see the Sheriff or Deputy say hello for Enos. . .said that he and the Deputy there worked on a case together." Daisy nodded "Okay." (wouldn't you hate to work on a case with Barney?)

Jed nodded as he could see Daisy was clearly uset "Ya want me to take you honey?" Jed asked.

Enos smiled kissing her cheek "So Daisy. . .what kind of Diamond ring do you picture yourself having?" (Hey I'm going to scoot off about six thirty or something cause I have some homework to do and then I wanna watch the Brady Bunch. . .got a marathon on all week. . .*sigh* used to be one of my favs)

Daisy sat down in a chair beside Luke and stroked his har "Welcome back . . .what do you rember?" Luke answered "n . . .noth. . .ing" Daisy sighed "Well I know you might not remember this, but here it goes "Come along and live the day. . .we've got lots of time to stay. . .come on and give it a shot . . .for a place in the sun we've got." Daisy sighed as Luke looked as blank as ever not remembering the song their Aunt used to sing to them.

"Well. . .you got any plans on what you want to do when y'all get there?" Jesse asked.

Enos nodded "I know ya do Daisy and I want you to come with me to town sometime to pick you out a ring."

jed laid a hand on Daisy's shoulder "I will. . .any vittles for them to eat later?" he asked.

Out of happines and not really knowing anything else to do Bo said "Luke. . .stay her cousin and . . .I'll be right back." so Bo rushed to where Daisy and Jesse, as well as Cooter and Enos were. "What's with you boy?" Jesse asked. "The greatest thing just happend Uncle Jesse. . .Luke woke up." Daisy leaped up and hugged Bo "Oh Bo. . .I am soooo glad. . .you have no idea how happy I am." "Believe me I think I do Daisy." Bo said and took Daisy hand leading her back toward Luke's room. Jesse and the others followed slowly behind.

"In North Carolina." Jesse answered.

Enos smiled, laying a hand on her shoulder "They just want what's best for you. . .I don't know why he wouldn't be supportive of this. . .I hope he was, but I see your point Daisy."

(Calm down I said I wasn't (surely not to Enos) Just a question) "Well. . .you see he was headed somwhere and these couple of guys came by and . . .well. . .Roscoe has the hospital coming for him." Jed said nervously.

Jesse nodded "I know that Daisy. . .I want you to know that I believe that also. . .y'all have fun in Mayberry." "Mayberry?" Daisy asked. Jesse nodded "Yeah, the place where Bo and Luke are racing. . .Know I think either Enos or somebody has been there and it's a fine town. I have no worries about you being there."

Daisy sets the tea down and sighes looking at him "I was jerk Enos. . .I shouldn't have snapped at Bo the way I did." Enos sighed "You were just protective of me, which I would expect. . .I just don't think you needed to go that far with your cousin."

(Don't worry I ain't killing nobody. . .least not if ya don't want and i really don't want to myself this time) "It's thet feller of your's Daisy. . . .something happend to him." Jed said. Daisy gasped "What?" Jed shook his head "I really ain't sure, but I know he's hurt bad."

Jesse nodded and sat down on her bed and sighed as he patted her arm letting her know that he was worried about her.

Enos takes Cherry from her and tries to coax her to drink some of her milk.

"Why did you have to go Uncle Jesse?" Daisy sighed. Just then there was a knock at the door. Jed was there, a sad look on his face.
