Daisy blinked "Yeah. . .why?" -
Lily nodded "Yeah. . .well, I just hope that I don't have to watch out for Granny. . .Know Granny almost fell today." Granny gave Lily a look.

Daisy shook her head "Oh right. . .sorry Uncle Jesse, but I was thinking there was a little part of that you didn't know."

Lily only shrugged and looked at Granny then back to Daisy. . ."Mom how come I have to be the oldest?"

Daisy shrugged shaking her head "No reason. . .just making conversation." Then Lily ran up to Daisy "Hey mama. . .how's daddy?"

Daisy was shocked "How Uncle Jesse?"

Daisy nodded "I woulsn't expect you to, but well. . .would you forgive him if he were to say walk up to the door right now?"

"Jesse Duke." Daisy smiled "Hey Uncle Jesse I'm sorry about what I said the other day getting so mad at Bo, but um I'm fine at Enos's house. . .he asked me to marry him and he has a little baby I'm helping him take care of."

(Me too Granny was SOOO funny doing things like that) Daisy nodded "You're kidding me. . .and it was my cousin he did it too. . .and we wouldn't have Brenna if he hadn't but it was still wrong. . .wonder where he is now."

When they got to Enos's house Daisy decided to call Uncle Jesse.

Enos smiled "Ain't no trouble Miss Lulu. . .I'd be more than happy to. . .and I think Lily might too. . .least we can do after you helped us all those years."

Daisy smiled "Quiet? You have to be joking Elly, but I suppose it's nice for you having been an only child. . .know me and Bo might have been like that, but we'd still have had our cousins. . .I couldn't imagine that. . .only having animals for friends."

Enos ignored this fact "Well thanks Lulu. . .we'll be heading off now. I'll come on by and do a little work for your yard this weekend if you'd like."

Daisy shook her head "no reason. . .just wondering what my little sweeties have been up to."

Enos wrapped an arm around Daisy "How could she not be an angel? Look at her mama."

"Well what's been going on here?" Daisy asked to no one in paticular.

Lulu smiled "Of course. Just an angel."

Elly smiled "Doesn't surprise me after the stories Cooter has told me about Bo and Luke."

After awhile they headed back to Lulu's house to pick up Cherry.

"How's he after the accident this morning?" Elly asked.

Daisy sighed leaing against his shoulder "I know and I'm glad."

Granny smiled as she headed toward Daisy to give her Jesse "I think we're just fine honey. How about you and Enos?" (It's kay. . .I needed to study anyhow.)

Daisy headed back to the house and when she got there she was met by Elly and Granny who were both at work. Elly making lunch for them and Granny was sitting in her rocker, Jesse in her arms.

"That was scary." Daisy said.

Enos nodded and put his gun up "I'm sorry Daisy. . .I just don't want anything to happen to you."
