    LD chuckled "Fine!" and with that he stormed off, but Enos secretly knew it wasn't over.

    (you bet) LD just snorted "So? You still owe me my girl."

    Once again Enos gave her hand a loving squeeze "Not at all Daisy. . .I ain't mad. I know I can't possibly imagine how you feel."

    Barney gave him a look "Why? Are you trying to say that I don't know trouble when I see it?"

    Then Enos made a strangely positive move "Yeah I do LD, These two boys here" he pointed at Bo and Luke "will beat you up."

    Enos gave her a face "Daisy, I can't promise that. . .you know unless I change jobs and the Hazzard people need me. . .I know it's hard on you being the Sheriff's wife, but, I'm doing what I can."

    "LD if you lay a finger on Daisy. . .You know where the jail is." Enos said.

    Enos grabbed her hand giving it a loving squeeze "Don't worry Daisy, I'll make sure of that."

    Down at the office Andy was having some issues himself because Barney, was complaining "I tell you Andy those boys are trouble!" he declared. Andy just shook his head.

    Daisy smiled "You bet I am." she said proudly

    Roscoe looked at the two of them and said nothing, but looked at Boss who mumbled "Can't believe he'd be dumb enough to do that."

    Daisy laughed "I wouldn't have blamed you if you didn't. . .It is kind of hard to believe a girl doing a lot of the things I've done."

    "All right what's going on here?" Roscoe asked as he and Boss came over to the others.

    Enos smiled "See Daisy we just go through everything in our lives together."

    "You don't believe me do you?" Daisy asked chuckling.

    "Oh yeah?" Bo asked and the next thing LD knew Bo had punched him right between his eyes.

    Enos nodded "Atleast you had me though. . .I had . . .well I had you when Granny died. . .yeah I reckon you really can't say either was worse."

    Daisy shrugged "You never know. .. he might if Mayberry was in danger."

    By this time Bo was getting really mad and decided to wist LD's arm "Don't you dare." he said.

    Enos nodded "Yeah, man the day. . .has to be worse for you having actually seen him when it happend, but" Enos shook his head.

    "Really?" Daisy laughed "I could kinda picture Opie doing that with his dad's car."

    Enos pushed himself up in his bed, wincing as he did "Daisy. . .I really wish Uncle Jesse were here now. . .I could use some of his advice somewhat bad now."

    "What do you mean 'thanks?" Enos growled at LD.

    Daisy chuckled "Well. . .technically no, but I have stolen Roscoe's squad car before and taken it for a ride when I needed to get away."
