Enos nodded "Though I don't think I'll be out of here in time for Sunday so. . .I don't know about you taking the kids to church by yourself, but I reckon you can." (know we got that idea bout my greatgrandma once. . .somebody said we shoulda had sundayschool up in her room cause there were only like five of us and she had plenty of room then caus she had a private room, but still would be cool)

Daisy smiled "Would you like to hear the story of that car?" Aunt Bee nodded "We ain't got much else to do." So she and Daisy went out onto the poorch and Daisy told Aunt Bee the story of the General.

Daisy sat down in a chair and buried her head in her hands "Enos, I make the hugest mistakes." Enos shook his head "Well, Daisy if it makes you feel better I'm getting my new leg in a couple of days. . .I got fitted for it not too long before you came."

(uh-oh) Bo, Luke and Enos just turned to the newcomer and watched as he walked up to the counter to order himself a drink.

Daisy smiled "He seems it. . .I don't think he would intentionally do something. . .you just have no idea how protective my cousins are over that car."

Daisy smiled "Never had an intention to. . .Know I bet Enos is at the Boar's Nest right now having himself a cup of buttermilk."

Doc laid a hand on her shoulder "Enos will pull through, I know he will." Daisy nodded "I have no doubt. I just don't know what to think right now really."

Daisy smiled "Well. . .I suppose I trust them with Opie. . .I just hope that Opie doesn't accidentaly do anything to the General."

Daisy nodded "That's an idea I suppose. Kinda wondering still the details to all that, but I like the idea." Daisy gave him a kiss on the cheek "I'll still have to talk it over with Enos though."

"Scared about what exactly?" doc asked.

Daisy smiled looking surpprised "How's that Aunt Bee?"

Daisy blinked as a couple tears managed to escape her eyes. Doc sighed "Daisy I know this has to be difficult for you, but to let you know Enos may have saved Hazzard after what he did this morning."

(oh now I remember. . .he was talking about that amendment about wives not testifying agains their husbands like Daisy got the idea that she wouldn't have to if she married Enos) Daisy smiled "I know you would Uncle Jesse. . .I just got to thinking. . .how do you think we can have Cherry in the wedding?"

Opie smiled and headed out to the yard. Daisy sighed and looked at Aunt Bee who shrugged smiling. "Man I am going to get those two." Daisy mumbled.

Daisy smiled and hugged Lily close to her "Sugar, you know that I'll understand. . .there are sometimes it's better to just say what you feel." Daisy looked back up to Doc for his input.

Daisy smiled "She is and I suppose me and her are about to become strates." (know I got to thinking about the Ms. Enos Srtate thing earlier today. . .can't remember why, but something my teacher said)

Daisy nodded "Well would you like to meet your I guess you'd say . . .granddaughter?" Daisy asked as she gently handed Cherry to her uncle.

Opie frowend "Aw come on and let Bo and Luke drive me Paw?" he pleaded.

Just then Doc Applebey came in smiling as he saw Daisy and Lily "Hey you two. . .I was just coming to bring Enos his medicine." he explained. Daisy nodded "Doc. . .I just told Lily about Enos and. . .I think I made an awful mistake." she confessed.

Then Daisy jumped when she heard a knock at the door and when she went to answer it there was Jesse, a huge smile on his face. "What you doing here Uncle Jesse?" Daisy asked.

Enos smiled "Daisy, she'd have to know sometime and. . .she is the oldest. . .I figued it would make it easier telling the others if you told her first." Lily looked at Daisy now just wishing her dad hadn't lost his leg, but wasn't mad at her mom.

After awhile Opie had to go to school, as well as Andy to the office so when Andy left Bo and Luke said they would drive Opie to school in the General

Daisy got dressed and then went into the kitchen to get herself some breakfast. When she was halfway through eating it however, Cherry woke up and began crying. Daisy rushed to get her and soon was humming to her and feeding her a bottle.

Lily tried to hold back her tears "Dad. . .what about. .your leg?" Enos wrapped a loving arm around her "Yes honey, I lost it, but don't worry I'll be able to do what I used to."
