Elly nodded when just then Granny started making strange noises. (Know I think she would be like late 80s I remember somewhere in the series said she was 70 something)
A smile tugged at Daisy's lips. She knew Jed was right about that one, but then again Granny was like 80 something. . .or 90. . either way it was so obvious that Granny should be going. . .why should she survive?
Jed reached over and hugged her "It's all right honey. . .I'm here." Elly looked his way, tears streaming down her face "Pa. . .I can't loose Granny. . .I just can't." she sobbed "The closest thing I ever had to a Ma."
Daisy shook her head "I really don't know." she rushed over and hugged him "I love you and Cherry too much Enos. . .I. . .I." and she broke down not able to say anything else.
Daisy hung up and laid a hand on her forehead. This was all too much. She looked at Lily and said "Make sure your brothers and sisters stay out of here. I know you're scared and I don't want them scared. . .you understand?" Lily nodded and went to do what Daisy asked. Just then there was a knock at the door and when Daisy opend it there was Jed.
Elly nodded and kneeled beside Granny. Daisy when to the phone and dialed the number. She sighed when Jed picked up "Jed Clampett here." "Uncle Jed. . .Granny fainted and Elly wants you real bad. . .Jenny called Doc so I guess he's on his way, but Elly really wants you."
(oh man) Daisy looked up "Elly. . .get over here." Elly did and was about to cry when she did "What's the matter with Granny?" she asked. "I'm not sure." Daisy answered.
