"Oh." Opie said not really knowing whatelse to say

The boys showed up and were not too surprised to see what they saw. Jesse took Daisy in his arms.

"Opie." Aunt Bee cried happily seeing him. "Hey what you doing Aunt Bee?" he asked.

Enos nodded "Thanks honey." and with that Daisy and Lily headed for home and when they got there Daisy was worn out, but was determined not to let it show.

Uncle Jesse was in the kitchen cooking when he heard a scream and something crashed.

The boys were shocked when they got there. "Dang it" Bo shook his head "How on earth would he know?" he asked Luke

Enos nodded "If you could bring the newspaper back with you I'd appreciate it. . .and if you have any dessert" Enos smiled at this last one."

Andy chuckled "Or they could have you a snack." Opie nodded "Well see you later Paw." and with that he headed for home.

Enos gave her a kiss "Not at all. . .you know Granny ain't as young as she once was. . .she might need your help."

Luke shook his head "If he lays one finger on Daisy or Cherry." and with that the two of them rushed to Enos's house.

Andy chuckled and shook his head "Ah. . .you know Barny. . .why don't you head on home and see what Aunt Bee and Daisy are up to?"

Luke looked over where the white truck was usually parked and saw his younger cousin was right "Well high-tail it Bo. . .what are we going to do?"

They sat silently for awhile when Lily, who they had forgotten about came over and remined Daisy "Mom. . .don't we and the others at home need supper. . .or as Granny sais 'vittles?'

Barney rolled his eyes "Well fine! If that's what you want." and he went into the back room. (I love it when Barney gets one of his suspicions going and stuff)

Enos chuckled "Daisy, I knew that the day we married and I've never forgoten it and never will. I can assure you of that."

Luke smiled trying not to outright laugh "I see ya there. . .Well good thing Uncle Jesse is a good fighter."

Andy smiled "Glad you had fun Opie." Barney sighed "See! Exactly what I mean Andy!"

It turned out they were right and LD went to the Duke Farm, which fortunatelly Daisy wasn't there.

Daisy smiled eventhough she knew the truth, but tried to be brave. Cooter got Enos all situated and soon Enos was able to relax eventhough he was still sitting a little bit.

"Hey Ope." Andy called "You have fun with Bo and Luke?"

(I hear that) Bo nodded "Yeah. . .let's follow him."

Cooter nodded, but could still tell Daisy was upset. He turned to Enos "Hey buddy. . .you think you could sit up a little bit so I could try this thing on you>"

"What's the matter Daisy?" Cooter asked reaching down to lay a hand on her shoulder.

"You thinking what I'm thinking?" Bo asked Luke.

Barney gave him a shcoked look eventhough he knew that Andy hadn't. And so it wan't long before Opie was coming back from school with Bo and Luke who dropped him off at the station.
