Jesse: *smiles as Luke seems to be finallly getting along with daisy and plays home for them* Now what? Hey Daisy think you could dance for us?

Elly: I know Julie. I just want you to know that when you do get out, i'm here for you.

Luke: I know Daisy really wants to hear Home. So do I. my mom always sang me Alan Jackson songs. As for another song, I don't know . . . what do you know to play by him?

Elly: I could see how you would be. You were just in surgery. *shakes head* We gotta get you outta here Julie.

Elly: Hey Daisy. I'm a mama now. This here is Jenny May.

(George Strait . . .least I think the songs by him. don't kow the title) Enos: I know I am Daisy. Just wait. *Suddenly Cooter and Elly and Luke come in to talk*

Enos: He did Daisy I just know it. He pulled through. We'll always be honey comb and sugar cane. (lyric from som GS song. where he says she my honey comb and i'm her sugar cane. That and they call each other sugar and Honey lol. I have a bad case of putting country lyric jokes)

The five of them went to the funeral, all three kids cried through the whole thing and then they were brought home. Jesse sighed and then sat down with an old fiddle. Jessse: What y'all wanna hear?

Just then Julie starts to wake up Elly: Hey Julie, how ya feel?

Enos: *smiles* Daisy: What? Enos: Well Daisy . . .I don't reckon he's out the tunnel yet, but the lord pulled us through didn't he?

*just now Elly realizes that this is a girl that she needs to take under her arms* Elly: Honey, how'd you like me to be your mama? I promise I won't leave ya. Jenny: I suppose. Elly: great. We'll have our own little family. Jenny: *nods* Elly: *takes Jenny to the desk and soon she becomes Jenny May Duke* Well Jenny we're gonna go and see your family *Drives with Jenny to the hospital to see Julie and tell Daisy and Enos the news.

Enos: Good. I guess it's a lot better now than it was two days ago. How's Andrew?

Jesse: I know you are boy, but you have me and yer Aunt Martha here for ya.

Elly: yeah. I'll help her if she needs it. I know she has to need it with her own twins. Uncle Jesse been watching Jenny like I said, but I hope Julie can come home soon so I can help him in the fields.

Enos: So do I honey. Well other than that . . .how was your day?

Jesse: She was . . .remember she was keeping a close eye on him and just couldn't stop. Luke . . .I know this is hard for you having to suddenly be the oldest, but you've got to be stronger for Daisy and Bo.

Elly: I hope Julie will be all right. I know Jenny May's all right with Uncle Jesse and it would pain me if I had to suffer like Julie and not be able to take care of her or the other kids in the orphanage for that matter.

Elly: Come on Kathy *the two of them walk back to see Julie*

Jesse: Luke, that is just how she's dealing with this. I know daisy's young to show these things, but apparently she's trying to get over her own pain by trying to ease yours. I know she may not be doing the best job, but she's trying. Right now it scares her what she did to Bo so she's trying to help you.

Enos: Put you on medicine huh? I hope it helps. I heard they can have some weird side effects.

Jesse: *Sighs and holds Bo close to him* Luke . . .I know you're upset right now, but please don't take it out on Daisy.

Daisy: *leaves knowing that Julie is being rediculous* I hope she's happy with that hick. Enos: Daisy . . .how did it go with Doc R this morning?

Luke: Well what do you expect? I just lost my parents and . ." Jesse: Luke . . .please Marhta: Come on honey *takes Daisy away to get her into a dress for the funeral.

Julie: You just don't understand. Daisy: Yes I do. Remember I almost got married three times before I married Enos. Once to Jamie Lee another to some guy who kidnapped me and the third me and Enos were going to get married, but had to wait until Doc could figure a cure for his hives.
