Enos: Me and Roscoe are going to work now . . .see ya tonight and Uncle Jesse is here to watch the twins. Daisy *nods. she doesn't want him to leave, but is to upset to say it* All right sugar. *Enos and Roscoe leave* Doc R; hey, I want to talk to you about everything that's happend to you since those little ones were born and everything you've been feeling.

Enos: I'll go and get her. *goes and gets daisy* Doc R: Hello Daisy . . .I hope you don't mind, but I want to talk to you for a bit.

Jesse: I know you are, but it'll pass. Course tomorrow will be the hard day. I hate to have to take them to their own parent's funeral.

Enos: I don't know Roscoe. Hopefully Doc's friend can help her. Doc R: yeah, I think i can if i just have a little time to talk. maybe i can help her. Enos: *sighs* I hope so. I love Daisy with all my heart and it pains me to see the way she hurts.

For now it all seemed good. the kids were happy again, but of course it all changed that night when Bo and Daisy started having nightmares.

Soon everyone was gone and Daisy was left to her only son. That night was much like the previous one. The next morning Enos came with Roscoe just like he promissed and with a friend of Doc's to discuss Daisy's late behaviors.

Jesse: Good *hands him a sandwich*

Enos: bye honey *gives her a kiss* I'll see you in the morning before work.

Jesse: *smiles*that's my boy. Now I reckon you'd like some lunch huh?

Enos: I know Daisy . . .I know and I know you don't want to hear this, but I gotta leave so that I can go to work again tomorrow. I know Bo and Luke have a plan, but I don't want to cause trouble before they're ready.

Jesse: You know the lord is only doing what's right for you even if you don't understand it. You will someday.

Enos: I know daisy. Maybe you ought to see a phychiatrist. I mean you are having dreams like that about Andrew, but you used to have Dreams like that about me too. Daisy . . .I hate to tell you this, but you care for the ones you love a teeny too much.

Jessse: Hey Daisy. *looks to the couch* How you doing Luke? Have a better attitude now?

Enos: What are we gonna do? If I could find a way to ease your mind I would. I know you care a lot about Julie.

Jesse: Well ain't y'all gonna come and say hello to your Uncle?

Enos: I know daisy, I know.

(no. He'd thought some country singer oh just thought who Alan jackson) Daisy: I just can't help it Enos. Enos: Daisy I know that. I think you ought to take a nap though. It might help a bit. . .or will that scare you too much on acount of Andrw

Enos: I suppose you are, but Daisy . . .all this worrying isn't like you and it's scaring me.

Jesse headed out into the fields leaving martha with the kids all morning. When lunch time came Jesse came in to his new little family.

Daisy: I know we will Enos . . .It's just that . . .well think about it. Every guy we know who was named Jackson was famous. they did incredible things like Dukes do. Andrew Jackson, Stonewall Jackson. . .someother guy named that that I can't think of.

Enos: Well come on daisy. You really need to get some sleep.

Daisy: I didn't say I would Enos. I have no intention. It's just that I haven't slept decent in the last six months worrying about Andrew and now Doc tells us he can't go to school. Enos, how can I honestly ever give Andrew all that he needs?

Enos: Don't worry Daisy . . .she won't die. . .and remember she has Uncle Jesse and Elly May to look after her.

Jesse: It's all right Daisy. I ain't mad. You tried your best. Now I have to head on out to the fields. I'll see you three in a few hours.

Daisy: I guess you're right. there's something I'm going to do . . .probably kill myself over all this.
