  1. Just then Daisy and Luke come in Daisy, a big cut on her face.
  2. (Well. . .I guess we ought to figure out how to get there. . .got a name for it yet? I don't) Enos: I know she scares you, but well . . .She brought Matt in the world and so I heard lots of babies back in the hills. Lily* listens*
  3. Jesse: You're right. . .we love eachother . . .I love you til the day I die, but Daisy, Bo and Luke add something special to our lives.
  4. Enos: *thinks* Oh my goodnes. . .I forgot about that Enos: Well there's Doc. . .if you have to there's Granny
  5. Jesse: *looks surprised* What do you mean by that?
  6. Enos: Daisy . . .we'll get through it. . . .I don't know how but we will *starts singin Me and God* (One of my favs by Josh. . .well every song by him is but that's beside the point)
  7. Jesse: So do I. . .So do I. . .Martha, I really don't know what I'd do without you or them.
  8. (Ain't that the truth) Enos: *sits thinking about what is going to happen to them now that Jesse is gone*
  9. Soon Daisy and Luke are out playing. Jesse and Martha are left in the house alone with Bo.
  10. (Really . . .don't know what I was thinking. . .could've happend to Granny. . .well anyway) Lily: Why not mama? *Starts singing Three Wooden Crosses* (ain't she carmin)
  11. Martha: *nods* I think that's good. . .Bo would want a little quiet.
  12. Martha: don't worry. . .he'll get better. . .What do you and Luke want to do this afternoon?
  13. Daisy: I knew it. . .I did Enos. . .He was the only daddy I ever knew. *starts crying with him*
  14. After that he stumbles back to his room and turns the radio on listening as he laid there (man. . .these people listen to it a lot. . .lol. . .All I do either)
  15. However, Daisy had been awake turned to look at him. Daisy: I know it has to be. . .you don't have to tell me Enos. . .he is isn't he?
  16. Bo sits up at the table while she gives him some that she had made that morning.
  17. Just then Lily turns to him. Enos could tell that she had been crying. She looked up at him with huge pleading eyes Lily: Daddy. . .what's wrong. . .with. . .grandpa?
  18. Bo hands Dale to Granny and heads for the General to go and get the buttermilk that Enos wants. Enos walked to the house and when he did he walked into his and Daisy's room to find her and Lily snugglin. He wasn't sure what to do. . . were they awake or not? He knew he had a hard thing to do.
  19. Jesse: You will. Just then Bo stumbles in looking slightly better than he did that morning. (Yeah. . .I'm seventeen and I ain't. . .well sorta)
  20. Enos: *sighs as he starts for the house* Bo, can you do it for me. . .I ain't trusting myself to drive right now.
  21. Jesse: Someday you'll understand. It takes time to understand these things. . .You will understand someday (yeah. . .like why their Aunt dies. *sob*)
  22. Enos: * begins to silently cry* I know she will Granny. . .I ain't letting her out of my sight. I've heard that things like this can lead people to do crazy things and I know . . I just know. . .I'd better go and get a jug of buttermilk . . .I ain't lettin her nowhere near the Boar's Nest.
  23. Jesse: We just wouldn't. . .I can't explain it baby. The lord wanted us to have you three. . .That's all I can say.
