Enos: *notices* Daisy! the stove's burnin!

Enos: Daisy, what's wrong? Daisy: Enos. . .what did I ever do to deserve all this?

So they went through the day mostly normal and eventually that passed too, but then again. . . Finally it was Daisy's thirteenth birthday.

Jesse: *gives her a look that says he kew she was lying, but was not going to say anything* Martha: Come on Daisy. . .let's get you dressed.

Daisy: Good. . .I might need you to get through today. Enos: *gets out of bed to get dressed as Daisy goes to make breakfast*

Jesse: Did you two talk about something? You seemed a little bothered when you two went to bed.

Daisy: *walks over and notices that Lily is still asleep* Well. . .I guess you can let her sleep. . .I don't reckon you're goin to work today?. . .I'm going over later to see Granny.

Jesse: What you doin in Luke's bed baby?

Daisy: *comes looking for him* What you lookin at Enos?

Jesse: *shruggs and he and Martha wake the kids up*

Enos: *sighs looking over at Lily who is surprisingly stil asleep*

Jesse: Hmm. . .wonder why?

The next morning Daisy is woken up by the babies crying. (g2g have to write a report *sigh*)

Jesse: What?

Lily just listens and then the three of them are quiet for a while. . .then eventually all three of them wind up going to sleep all together.

Finally the two of them are asleep and when Martha comes to wake them she is surprised to see all three of them in the same room.

Enos: *wraps an arm around her and starts prayin*

The two of them sit not saying anything for a while.

(My dad never did that. . .I really wouldn't know) Enos: *looks at her, desperation in his eyes as much as hers* Daisy: *sits down and knows how sad their situation is*

Luke: Well. . .what if I have to take care of you two on my own *looks over at Bo* I couldn't do it Dasiy.

(With me it's my mom. . .I know with you and well. . .I don't like crying in front of my dad either) Later Daisy comes in looking tired as can be and sees them

Luke: Huh? Oh. . .just wondering why Uncle Jesse and Aunt Martha keep hoping that they'll be here for us . . .why wouldn't they?

(okay) Lily: Daddy. . .I can't stand this. *lays against him silently crying.*

Later that night Luke sat up in his bed thinking.
