Enos: Well. . .they think there's some more men after us. . .Nancy Lou again. . .not that that suprises you.

Cooter: *hugs her* Daisy you are so much stronger than I am and I respect you for it.

Elly: *looks scared* What was before you met Enos. . where are you going. . .you're scaring me.

Enos: I know and Daisy. . .I've kept an awful secret from you. . .cause I didn't want you to worry. . .Bo and Luke found it out one day when they were scouting.

Elly: *Grabs Carrie's hand to stop her* Carrie listen. . .you are pretty so am I . . .okay now like cousin Daisy, but in our own way. . .besides I thought we didn't care bout bein pretty. . .you're an awesome girl and someday . . .maybe we will find guys who will treat us right.

Cooter: Wonderful. .. and how you're so positive about it Daisy. . .I'm sure Macy will be a great person. . .course I wouldn't know about Nancy Lou. . .I never got to be in her life.

Enos: I know, but Uncle Jesse . . .I could talk to him when I needed help. . .I just never got that Close with Uncle Jed. . .I love him, but just can't talk the way I could with him. . .can't with Granny either.

Cooter: *looks surpprised* Really? How?

Elly: It's all my fault. . .I had to go and hug Enos to cheer him up and now Carrie. . .*sighs* (Why I'm glad I'm the youngest then you can get mad, but don't feel like it's your fault)

Enos: *shrugs* It's all went downhill since Uncle Jesse left us. . .I used to have such faith in myself.

Elly: *buries her head in her hands* Why did I have to do that? Luke: What's going on in here?

Cooter: No, but I'd better let your Uncle treat me first. . .I'm real sorry Hughie did that to you. . .you're such an innocent thing Daisy.

Enos: And I wish me and Cooter could be better fathers.

Enos follows too Cooter: Hey Daisy. . .hey Enos.

Elly: *smiles* I just wish they would work out for all of us.

Jesse sits him down and goes to get a rag and some water for him.

Elly: *just hugs her not really knowing what to say* Then Enos and Bo and Luke come in

Elly: *shakes her head* I don't know . . .I guess I'm okay, but between Mary and Cooter I'm real upset.

Jesse: Well come on in boy. need to get you cleaned up

Elly: He does love us. .. just differnet. . *hugs her*

Daisy: I'm awful sorry I snaped at you like that Lily Suddenly Daisy is aware that Elly had been watching the whole time.

Jesse: Beat up? Cooter. . .the only was that could happen is if you did it to yourself.

Elly: *comes in* I am so sorry. . .I was just trying to make Enos feel better. . .I am such an idiot.

Daisy: What you mean you know?

Elly to herself: man I'm an idiot Elly: Sorry Enos, I gotta check on her *goes into the house after Carrie.*
