  1. "Let's hope he's got a better reason than that to tell the judge. I've got to know looking back now are you sorry you screwed with Tom?" Lizzy asks.
  2. "They look a lot like Julie but you can still see Aaron in them if you look hard enough. I'll stick around." Bo says.
  3. "It's Duquesne. She changed it back after she got the divorce. And as far as I knew they had joint custody. It's gonna be hard for him to prove she's a bad mother." Lizzy says pushing the man out of her house.
  4. "The twins are still stubborn and things are pretty much going on as usual. Jeb took Lizzy out last night and came home about four in the morning. I think he was headed over there today to take them to the zoo. We all know how stubborn Lizzy is about stuff like that though. And I've heard milk goes better with spicy stuff then water does." Bo says.
  5. Just then Coy walks in. Lizzy: Hey Coy. Coy: Lizzy Davenport you are not seriously saying you have to work are you? Lizzy: Uh... Coy: I have seen you work the hardest of any FBI agent in my office these past seven years but as far as I know you don't have any cases for the next three weeks. Stop trying to hide behind your work and get out and do something with your kid. Go to the zoo, go to the park, spend the day watching cartoons, I don't care what you do Elizabeth but you are not going to touch a case for the next three weeks. It's a vacation for a reason. Lizzy: *Sighs defeated* Fine we'll go to the zoo.
  6. Heather: The Zoo? Mommy please. Please Mommy, I've been a good girl. Please can we go to the zoo? Lizzy: I wish you two would gang up on me like this. I've got... Heather: *sighs disappointed* A ton of work to do. Like always.
  7. Luke: *sighs* I didn't mean it like that Jeb. Today not much just chores and then possibly going to see how Julie's doing.
  8. Luke: You've been here for the past week you should know what's going on.
  9. "Look Jeb...It's great that you want to help around here but you can't forget about your girlfriend and daughter. Lizzy's had it pretty rough the last seven years. Ever since she ran from here to Tennessee. He says she's rarely home to see her daughter and it's tough on Heather. I know you spent most of the night with her but why don't you take Lizzy and Heather up to the zoo in Atlanta? I'm sure they'd like it." Luke says.
  10. "Lizzy's real uncomfortable about Hazzard for some reason you'd have to talk to her about it though." Luke says.
  11. "I'm not too sure Lizzy'd like that." Luke says leaning against the doorway.
  12. Lizzy comes into the room a few hours later freshly showered and dressed. She snaps a quick picture before waking them both up. "I thought you said you had to be at the garage a half an hour ago." Lizzy says. Cooter looks at the time and curses. "Little ears." "Sorry. If you've got time, she wants to go to the zoo today. Maybe you and Jeb can take her." Cooter says before heading off. "Yeah maybe." Lizzy mutters to herself before waking Heather.
  13. "No just give it a bit. It's always been like this with Mommy. Especially when she's working one of those big cases. Uncle Earl will get really...disappointed, I guess, at the fact that she's never home. I know I'm just a little kid but I get it. Mommy works hard as an FBI to give me stuff she didn't have when she was little. I wish she was home more and maybe with Daddy around she will be but I see my mommy enough that I'm not mad at her for working so hard just sometimes I wish she was home more often." Heather says snuggling into the warmth of Cooter's body and slowly drifting off. "Do you think she'll take me to the zoo today?"
  14. "Grandpa Cooter? What's wrong?" Heather asks wandering into the room.
  15. It was about four am when Jeb dropped Lizzy off on her front porch and gave her a sweet good night/good morning kiss. Lizzy grinned and went inside only to find Cooter drinking a cup of coffee sitting in the living room with Baxter the Springer Spaniel laying at his feet. "Morning Liz." Cooter says. "Morning." Lizzy answers yawning. "And the rooster crows in an hour so don't yell at me." "Hadn't planned on it. You little girl are sleepy. You have what four hours before your daughter gets up?" Cooter asks. "If I'm lucky. I think my bed is calling my name." Lizzy yawns again. "I'll keep her busy but I can only promise five hours. Then I have to be at the garage." Cooter says. "Take her with you." "I'm not watching a seven year old in my garage. Five hours that's it." Cooter says and Lizzy trudges off to bed.
  16. "To the river it is." Lizzy answers. Her lips twisted into an innocent grin but her eyes told a completely different story. She knew what was going to happen as it was the same thing that had caused Heather but she couldn't bring herself to care.
  17. So Lizzy and Jeb leave and get to the restaurant. As they finish supper Jeb leads her outside after they pay the bill. "So we have two choices, I could take you back to your dad's place and say goodnight like I know I should or I can take you down to that special place by the river and take a couple hours to say goodnight." Jeb says leaning against his motorbike. "I should say take me home because part of me wants to be with Heather but the majority of me knows that she'll be fine and we need to spend sometime together." Lizzy says.
