"It's alright. We're gonna keep her the rest of the night and for a while tomorrow just to be sure she's alright but after that she should be able to go home if she takes it easy." The nurse says.
"But...But she's my...my..." Lizzy trails off as her eyes fall closed and she drifts off. Bo looks up at the nurse. "Just a sedative. She's was too worked up. It will wear off in a few hours. Try not to get her so worked up again or we'll remove you from her room." The nurse says.
"And she'll appreciate it." Cooter says. Back in Chickasaw Lizzy looks up at Bo's question. "I don't...I don't know where I'm gonna go. I wish I could but...everyone's so mad at me." Lizzy whispers.
Cooter sighs knowing he had just gone over this with Tom and Bo both. "It wasn't your fault and you couldn't have stopped it. Lizzy would really hate it to know you're blaming yourself and she'd tell you that you aren't the one to blame. Only Danny can be blamed for his stupidity and thoughtlessness. You came in when she needed you the most and that means the world to her." Cooter says.
"He was a lot like Bo, the sweet and innocent part but...he didn't quite have the charm. Lizzy never fell for him but for your cousin instead. I just wish none of this ever happened." Cooter sighs.
"His name's Danny Martin. Mom was always fond of him. Knew him since he was in diapers. He's always had a crush on Lizzy but I never thought he'd go this far. It's just something no one ever expected from him." Cooter says shaking his head.
"No Daisy. Her safety is more important at the moment. You didn't scare her off in the first place. The fact that you came looking for her and did as she asked to get her to the hospital shows her how much you love her. I know she'll be relying on you a lot her first couple of days out of the hospital." Cooter says.
"Because I know her and I know the potential strength her love can be for Bo if she lets it loose. It's the kind of love you and Enos have it's just gonna take a bit of work. Lizzy's scared right now and she'll run to the place she feels safest." Cooter says.
"It'll be alright I promise. If you're still uncomfortable here I could set you up in Chickasaw with my cousin L.B. until Lizzy gets out of the hospital." Cooter says.
"If she does I'll take care of her. If I'm not here Buster will take care of you and you're welcome to fire anyone of the guns in the house. Shooting her in the foot or the leg won't kill her only slow her down." Cooter says.
Soon she was gone and Cooter turned to Daisy. "Are you alright?" Cooter asks. Buster too drops his stance and looks up at Daisy with his big puppy dog eyes.
"I don't think so. You're wanted by every law enforcement agency from here to Oklahoma. You're trespassing on private property, the sign says beware of dog...I can't and won't be able to control Buster if he decides to take a chunk out of your leg. NOW GET OFF MY PROPERTY." Cooter says aiming the shotgun.
Cooter comes out with a shot gun in hand. "You're trespassing on private property and I can not be held liable for what happens if you don't leave." Cooter says.
