I haven't been to the cinema for years (I've actually lost count just how many), and so like many others, this movie has passed me by. The trailer (below) looks quite fun, so I'll check it out if I get a chance. BTW, Spike, IMDb says that Channing Tatum was born in Alabama, but none of the other leads appear to be from the South, and Daniel Craig isn't even from the south of England.
 
 

It was an ok movie, a bit over the top with the southern schtick considering I don't think any of the cast was from the south.

Anyone here seen the movie Logan Lucky?  Its been one of my favorite movies since it came out and I realized today that it has a very 'Dukes' flavor to it.  If you haven't seen it, do so any let me know what you think!

'Goodbye, General Lee' in season 4.

Well I just saw Hamlin have to push his car onto Pit Road right at the end....just not enough gas! Man! That's a hard way to lose!  I don't know if this is a re-run or not.  Eric Amirola won it.  #10 I think. I'm not sure if this was taped or live....? I saw it on  FS1HD....whatever that channel is on your cable.

Sorry I'm late to the party here myself, but that write-up Roger did made my head so big, I couldn't get through the door to the next room where the computer is!
 
But seriously: I appreciate the love, and I appreciate the comradery here even more.  Dukes fans are nothing but the finest people, so this is always a welcoming place to 'set a spell' and chew the fat.

Sorry Garrett, I'm going to be real strict on this to avoid any controversy. Even if you break your resolution on Jan. 2 you're out. Like I said in rule number 7, don't make it too hard and you won't break it that soon.
Dixie, if you go look at rule number 6, you'll see that you don't have to reveal that resolution if it's personal. You DO have to tell us if (and when) you break it.
daisydukeXenosstrait, I'm sorry but your resolution isn't acceptable. It has to be something that is a commitment for an entire year and not just a month or it wouldn't be fair to everybody else. If you said you won't cut your hair all year, that would qualify. Sorry.

Every time I see one of those commercials from those on-line dating services I think of Rosco's Mama's line from "Mrs Rosco P. Coltrane".

LOL If I ran one of those companies I'd pay Warner Brothers to use that clip in a commercial.
The Dukes were way ahead of their time. Boss ran a solar powered still. Jesse invented ethanol. Rosco got a girl from a computer. I feel sorry for the city folks who think hicks aren't that smart.

I flipped over to The Simpsons and Chips since the local NBC station added the Charge channel to it's lineup last week.

Just remember everybody....your favorite used car salesman and town drunk has the same  year as the superbowl! I'm 55 ( August 31, 1965) and the Superbowl is 55!  ....( I'm not really a drunk...I just have a nip ( a sip...lol) every now and then ( you never waste a sip!...oh my......so smooth!) I'm not really much into alcohol but I play one on Hazzard Net...LOL! Ha! Ha! Pepsi Max however.......!!!!!   )

On my way home last night I noticed a senior lady shoveling a path to her mail box so I turned around and stopped to help her. Her son came out to "help" after he seen me. She was 88 years old. Her son said he's got a herniated disc blah blah blah. I thought to myself herniated disc or not there's no way I'd let my octogenarian mother or father shovel snow. For Christ sake the city has a number you can call and a volunteer will come out and shovel your walk or to your mailbox for free.
Keep an eye on your catalytic converters they are the hot ticket item for thieves these days. They're even striking in the middle of the day where people work. Japanese cars seem to be targeted the most.

That's just a piece of trash trying to cover for himself!  Of course, it also show how she raised him!

Cup qualifying has been rescheduled to 7:30pm est tonight on FS1. 
Looks like there's a pretty good chance that the 500 will rain delayed as they're expecting rain Saturday and Sunday.

Well let's hope they use the oval next year as that was a yawner of a race except on the last lap where Chase Elliot tried a bump n run on Ryan Blaney and Kyle Busch passed them both for the win. I found it hilarious that they called a caution for dirt on the track though they might have called it because Denny Hamlin was driving away from the rest of them. He had the best car but pit stops kept putting him back in the field.

The 2021 season starts tonight with the Busch Clash on the road course at Daytona at 7pm eastern on FS1.
The Daytona 500 qualifying is on Wednesday afternoon at 2:30pm on Fox and the Duels are Thursday at 7pm on FS1. As of now 44 cars are on the entry list.

That reminds me of the time my wife got mad at me because I was talking too much. She put a toothpaste label over the Gorilla Glue and that shut me up for awhile. So I took the toothpaste label off and sued Gorilla Glue because it didn't say anywhere on the tube that I couldn't use it as toothpaste. I got revenge on my wife. I didn't share any of my ten million dollar settlement with her.
