I'm a High Octane guy myself.

Just got back from Virginia visiting our daughter and grandsons. She surprised me with an early birthday present....Jon Holland's book Moonrunner's Tale....from grit to gold: How the Dukes was born.
I always loved the Georgia episodes and now I will get to learn a lot about how things unfolded before the show even began. This is going to be fun.

I'm really strarting to worry about free speech. Some of the things people get fined, suspended or arrested for are ridiculous. It's getting where you can't say anything without asking the government's permission to speak.....or in Hamlin's case, NASCAR's governing body. I guess the higher authorities want a bunch of mindless robots to rule over.

Well I guess Wallace throwing the hammer at Busch doesn't make Tony Stewart's helmet throw at Kenseth this year look so bad any more.
You're right about that. Throwing a hammer is pretty serious. I wonder if he intended to hit him (which could be deadly) or just send a message by throwing it in that direction.

That is if he isn't still sitting in Boss Hogg's jail.
(Forgive my shameful promotion of our newly jump-started RP)

Congrats JG.
On a different subject I saw a quote in today's USA Today where Brad Keselowski said he feels naked without his cell phone. Sometimes the younger generation worries me. They're so in love with their techno devices they're more emotionally attatched to them than human beings. IT'S A STUPID PHONE BRAD. PUT IT AWAY AND OBEY THE RULES.

Yes it is Roger. I had to play along when my grandma called me thinking I was my uncle one time, one of the saddest conversations I ever had. She had her good days and bad days. I feel for my aunt who decided to take care of her instead of putting her in a nursing home. Eventually she had to go to one though.

My father-in-law didn't want to put her in there but she kept running away, even in the winter at night.

It's about time!
Is it just me or did anybody else notice Garrett gets a little grumpy when NASCAR's out of season?

I have no idea but I'm pretty sure that HazzardNet is the last remaining Dukes forum on the planet. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

Whilst looking through the episode again for a different screengrab I realised there was a short scene I'd missed originally. I think the unknown text reads 'SUGGESTS'. The image below shows the original grab, a color-tweaked and sharpened version, and how it would look it my version:

Cousin Roger... WJ:"The Hazzard Coffin Works. It was part of Boss's cradle to the grave social security plan for himself. Most Hazzard babies were born in Boss's hospital. They grew up and financed their homes and cars at Boss's bank. And in the end, they were laid to rest in one of Boss's caskets. After being overcharged every step along the way."

I don't think I've visited either of those sites. www.hazzardonline.com still appears to be available, but there's no trace of www.dukefarm.com. I know of a few other Dukes sites that are still running, but I can also name some that have disappeared over the past decade. HazzardNet may well be the only remaining Dukes forum after cglfc.com shut down about five years ago. I never joined cglfc.com, but I did read posts there from time to time.
At the end of the day, it costs money to keep places like HazzardNet alive. We should be thankful that our Supreme Superior Commander is such a dedicated Dukes fan!

Sorry Skipper but I still don't know them. I did see Talledega Nights though.
