no problem. i have plenty of advice like that. my 7th grade year was pretty rough. man did i learned a lot that year.lol

i used to forget too, but i just keep a notebook and pencil beside my bed and it works out. haha about your dream i have nightmares like that whenever my dad gets called out to a fire. he is the fire chief in town and i'm always worried when he goes out. he was out all night a few weeks ago when this guy's house caught on fire at like 9 at night. they got it out at like midnight but then the guy who owned the house caught it back on fire or something. (my dad said he was pretty drunk) it ended up burning for almost a week straight. by the time it was done smoldering and everything, there wasn't anything left but the chimeny.

we all get to go to a new school on a hill next year too!! haha we built a new school and it is kindergarden to 12th grade all together, which is a big change from having 3 different elementary schools all scattered across almost 3 counties.lol it's gonna be different but it will be fun for all of us to explore and be totally lost together. haha thats the good thing about going to a new high school, or on my case jr. high. you aren't alone. all your friends are just as lost as you. lol

i have been wanting to paint my bike like the general for a loonng time now. when i was little my old bike was painted like it but we didn't spend a lot of time on it, we just used blue letter stickers for the "General Lee" and put white paint pen around it cause we knew i would outgrow it someday. but now, i want to do my bike like it again. it has been just plain orange for a few years now and my dad finally found a buisness that makes smaller decal stickers. and he was wondering if there are any kind of copyright laws for the "General Lee" and "01". i don't think there are with all the general lee's out there, but he told me to find out just in case so we aren't doing something illegal.lol so if anyone knows, i would be greatfull=]] thanks

my cousins live near hazard, KY and i think we are going to try to get there this summer to see them. i've been to georgia when i was little, we drive through and stayed in savannah on our way to disney world. savannah was the prettiest city i had ever seen and it still is. i would love to live there or even go to college there. but i'm pretty sure i want to go to the University of Southern California. i'm not 100% sure yet, but with the career i want to pursue, it seems like the best option. i have a friend who is going there now and she says it's great and she really likes it. i want to visit her in college, but i'm not sure thats gonna work out.lol but i think the south is sooooo much prettier than the north. don't get me wrong, we have a lot of beautiful scenery here in ohio but i really like the rolling hills of the Appalachian Mountains. all we have up here are the foothills which are very pretty too.lol but, yes it sure is pretty down there. and there are smart people there too. that makes me soooooo mad when people say southerners are dumb.

glad to see this thread was a success. i know how hard it is to write songs and it's even harder when you don't have anyone to look them over so i'm glad ya'll can post your songs here. they are very good by the way.=]] i started writing when i was very young. i actually would make up little songs when i was in like kindergarden, but i didn't start to write them down until i was about 10 or 11. and i've been hooked ever since. all of my songs come from the heart and i try to tell a story with each one. i'm about as country as it gets with my writing, but i listen to a lot of rock and roll from the 50's and i like bands like McLY and Forever The Sickest Kids too so that comes out in my writing, singing, and playing too . i will try to post some more songs, but this is kinda a spure(spelling?) of the moment song. congrats=]]]]] i never had an 8th grade graduation. we are kinda small for that. but our high school graduation was sunday and it was soooooo long. the class that graduated had almost 90 kids which is REALLY big for us. my class only has about 60 and even my class is big.lol but you'll like high school. i've been here for 2 years and i'm ok with it. is your high school and jr. high a combined building or do you have to get to know a whole new school? we are so small that our high school and jr. high use most of the same classrooms!! lol so that made it easier for me. my advice would be to stay true to yourself. a lot of things change in high school. friends you thought you knew turn out to be someone TOTALY different, things you thought you knew are suddenly completely wrong. so definitely don't change yourself to be what other people want you to be. trust me, i learned the hard way. you'll be much happier just being yourself. good luck next year=]]]]]

my history teacher told us that big bopper told people he only weighed around 250 lbs when he really weighed like 350 lbs and that made him over the recommended weight limit for the private plane bubby holly got. now, that could be true that he lied about his weight to get on the plane, but i highly doubt it was the reason for the crash. we saw a few pictures from the crash and it was snowy. so i'm going to go with the weather theory. a blizzard could of easily caused that plane to go down. and that would be cool to talk to someone about the dukes like in person instead of on here. at school, people just make fun of the south and people from there. i just ignore it cause i would love to live down in georgia or kentucky. i hate how people make fun of other people just because they are different. i also hate how racist my school is. i don't understand what the big deal is. so what, their skin color is darker than ours. how does that make them bad people or thieves? i try to ignore that too. but since we studied rock & roll, i have been listening to a lot of buddy holly stuff.lol i kinda like him a lot. he's one of my new favorites. haha

in US History class, we are learning about the 50's and just finished watching a movie on Buddy Holley. our teacher told us about how Waylon almost got on the plane with those guys. he flipped a coin and he lost. you probably knew that already but what i got to thinkin bout was, what if he would of got on? what would the dukes of been like? but then i realized that if he would of gotten on, there wouldn't of been too much weight in the plane and it might not of crashed because the bigger guy is who he flipped a coin with. atleast thats what our teacher told us was that the big guy weighed too much and caused the plane to crash. i'm not sure how credible that is though cause our teacher kinda gets the facts wrong sometimes.lol but, still for some reason i spent like all the next period thinking about that. does anyone knoe if that is really why the plane crashed? i was just curious.

well, if you know the country band lady antebellum, his brother charles kelley is in that. but josh's sound is a little different. it's kinda jazzy, kinda rocky, and kinda folky at times. he actually is working on a folk album to be released this summer i think. i could be wrong on that though but i'm pretty sure. you can check him out on myspace. mysapce.com/joshkelley and his website joshkelley.com. he has some music on both. you won't be disappointed=]]] lol

hahaha.thats funny:lol: she must of been still asleep of half asleep. it's funny what people will say when they are still out of it. haha i hate it when i fall asleep like that in front of people at family things.lol a few weekends ago, i was at my grandparent's house cause my dad was helping my grandpa and uncle put doors on the barns. and the night before, i was at my friends house and we were up all night making out stilettos video of teardrops on my guitar actually.lol so we had been up till like 4 and i was whippped. and my cuz came back from baseball and changed the channel on the tv and ripped the blanket off of me and i never woke up until my other cuz opened the front door and i got a cold ohio march breeze.lol thats not a good way to wake up either.
