  1. I know I sent this to you via email, Brian, but I figured might as well put my two cents in here as well. I just wanted you to know I read Hell's Tapwater and absolutly loved it. It was a wonderful mixture of action, drama and a bit of Coltrane comedy, the mark of a true Kin series story. Doc
  2. Staying normal would imply being normal to begin with, Brian. And as for the RR, I'm looking forward to it. I think I would look great in a corset and leather breeches. Doc
  3. Good Lord, It's happeaning again. As much as I've tried to avoid it this year, this country Doc (and author) will be having a birthday tommorrow. Doc
  4. Well, Off I go. I'll see ya'll in a little over a week. I'll miss everyone. Behave yourselves, esp you Brian. And don't worry, once I'm on the beach, I'll buy a drink for Hazzard, or is that ON Hazzard? LOL Doc
  5. That's kewl, MaryAnne! Which series are you taking from? The orginial? Next generation? Enterprise? There's a bit of advice from a offical trekkie. If a Klingon suggests Gagh for dinner, Run! Cause its best served live. (vulcan peace sign) Pendragon
  6. Chance took a long sip of her brandy, following Brian’s lead and not alerting the police to their sudden change in demeanor. Although her movements were casual, her mind was working rapidly. She had one idea, it was a risk. Not only to Brian’s freedom but to her own as well. Chance hope he would go along with it. “Give me the keys to Diablo.†At his abrupt narrow-eyed glance, she explained quickly, her voice dropping down to a whisper. “Look, before you start arguing, the police are obviously looking for you, but if Diablo isn’t here, they won’t find anything on you. No car, no evidence, no arrest. Plus, they wouldn’t think to question a blonde woman quietly leaving the club when they are looking for a dark-haired man. I’ll drive Diablo back to Hazzard, you can pick him up later.†Chance turned slightly towards the bar, so the approaching cops couldn’t see her put her hand out for the keys. “Unless you have a better idea…†Her blue eyes held Brian’s in a steady gaze. She knew she was asking something that Brian Coltrane rarely gave anyone….a sign of trust. (Cue Brian!)
  7. “Sure. You look like you could use one.†Chance teased., having watched this encounter silently. Brian’s infamous background was not unknown to her. She grinned up at him as he led her away from the dance floor. Chance perched herself on one of the barstools and crossed her legs at the knees, causing the metal buckles on her motorcycle boots to clink together. “I didn’t know you were a movie buff, Brian.†With that, she winked, indicating that his secret of his cargo was safe with her. When the bartender strolled up, Chance ordered her favorite drink, since Brian was buying, of course. “Brandy, please†(Cue Brian!)
  8. Speaking of bad scripts, anyone else see the news where Michael Jackson wants to star in a movie where he morphs into a car? Excuse me language, but holy frickin' cripes...WHAT director would give that man the time of day?! Of course the way things have been looking, that car will be the General Lee. Ok, thats my rant for the week. Carry on. Pendragon (MaryAnne, if this post if completely off topic, free feel to delete but I had to write something before I went down to Hollywood and started smacking people with a stupid stick.)
  9. "Maybe some other time, Riddick." Chance grinned up at Brian, in no hurry to leave the arms of the man she was dancing with. "Mr. Coltrane here first owes me a drink." She also noticed when Brian scanned the rooming, his gaze stopping at the faces of the people from Hazzard. "Looks like you stumbled on the Hazzard Hen Night." She chuckled. "But what brings you to Atlanta, Brian? Business as usual?" (Cue Brian! Can't wait for this answer.)
  10. "There is a drug treatment called HemoGenesis. Very new, highly experimental. They've started using it for chemothearpy patients in small doses to help the body replace the blood. But a higher dose would produce a faster, more dramatic response. In Riddick's case, it would stimulated enough blood production to keep him alive, but..." Chance took a long breath. "As weak as he is, the shock to his system could prove fatal to his heart. It would be a risk, it could either work the miracle you are looking for...for kill him instantly." The young doctor looked back on the man laying in the bed. The chances of this working were slim to say the least, but it may be the only chance Riddick had to see tommorrow. (Cue MaryAnne)
  11. (I know I wasn't cued, but I have permission to join the story.) Chance stood in the doorway of the hospital room, respectively silent during MaryAnne’s prayer. Dressed in the green scrubs of a surgeon and blonde hair pulled back away from her facce, she looked very different from the easy going country doctor of Hazzard county. When she heard the ambulance call come in from Hazzard, she had been concerned and only one man in the county matched Riddick’s description. She hadn’t been to actually work on the man, but she decided to check in on him. Stepping up besides MaryAnne, Chance took the chart and studied it. What she saw was grim, to say the least. Even if Riddick survived the night, he could very well be paralyzed. “He’s going to need more than a miracle, MaryAnne. Riddick lost almost half his blood volume. He’s going to need some aggressive medicine to even pull through…†Chance had a idea, something the hospital had just begun to work with. It was risky, possibly fatal in Riddick’s case. Her eyes betrayed her indecision. (Cue MaryAnne)
  12. Introducing a new story telling of Doc Walker's adventures before coming to Hazzard. You might even see a familiar face or two. Welcome to Sanctuary. http://members.fortunecity.com/pendragon1980/hazzard/san1.htm Cowritten by Pendragon and Jax - a Pre-Hazzard/MacGyver crossover Author's note - I wanted to do something completely new and different with Chance. Thanks to Jax for helping me bring this story to life. It was a pleasure and honor writing with you once again. I hope everyone enjoys this adventure. And as always, let us know how you like it! Pendragon aka "Doc"
  13. Yep, Another blonde moment. LOL Reading through some old posts, I realized when I moved my site to Fortunecities, I broke the links connecting my stories to these forums. Therefore, here is the updated link for the my fanfiction. Enjoy. http://members.fortunecity.com/pendragon1980/hazzard/ Pendragon aka "Doc"
  14. Well, I'm not saying you need to go out and rob a bank for anything like that. After all, there are more than one ways to be bad. Who knows? Maybe this country doctor could teach YOU a thing or two. Doc
  15. I'll have to think about it. After all, I want to sure be I'm getting my money's worth.
  16. Hmmmm...What are the rest of the lessons going to cost me, I wonder? Ah well. I'm sure we can come to SOME sort of an arrangement. Doc
  17. My father heard on the radio today that Dodge is bringing back the Chargers for the 2006 line. Anyone else hear this? Pendragon
  18. I may take you up on that offer, Brian, if things in the medical community ever get dull. I always did look good in black. 8) Doc
  19. 5 B's and 5 C's. I seem to be walking a very fine line between good and bad.
  20. Oh, that too. I kept getting kicked out of FTP. But I don't upgrade my site that often so I just keep to their FileManager thing. and FYI, MaryAnne, dukesofhazzardfanfic.com is offline. I keep getting "Server not found". Pendragon
  21. I have one, Lisa. I haven't had any glitches or bugs so far, but I haven't updated it in a couple of weeks. I also found the uploading system a little cumbersone. Pendragon
  22. Oh lordy, Did anyone else just get a high in blood pressure? Brian, you ARE A liability for natural diasters. Says so on your resume. Maybe instead of being concerned about you behaving, I ought to just toss you in the trunk for safekeeping, or maybe the front grill, like a prize buck. I think its an idea. Anyone else? Doc
  23. Well, I'm at it again. This Doc is going on a bit of a vacation, probably the last one I'll have for a while, considering nursing school starts in Fall . I'll be out of town Sat, April 3 through Sunday April 11th, perhaps 12th (its a lonnng drive home from North Carolina) . I'll miss everyone while I'm gone. I'm hoping a select few, you know who you are, will stay out of trouble while I'm away, but I kinda doubt it. Doc
  24. The above address apparently doesn't work. Try this one. http://14-amanda-peet.com/images/amanda_peet_26.jpg Also, the actress's name is Amanda Peet. Guess that would help. Good lord, I am having a blonde moment tonight. Pendragon
  25. Hello folks. Jax and I were having a interesting discussion recently and I was curious to know the thoughts of the other authors. What actor/actress would play your character? I know some of us have characters already based on known characters...(Cully, Riddick), but indulge me. Esp those with orgrinal characters. As for me, Jax (and thank you again) pointed this lovely actress out to me, which I found a almost perfect match to the image of Doc I always had in my head. http://www.geocities.com/pendragon1980/Doc2.bmp Pendragon
