unfortunatley i do not have any pics of it cos my computer memory was wiped by a virus a while ago, so i lost everything but as Dale said, and i have recently checked on, it was MY mistake about the originality of the car apparently the owner says it is designed to be an original styled general lee, not the original, which is where i got confused (damn dyslexia!) and i thought it was a coupe, but the owner kept saying it was a mustang, so i was not sure, i know more about Brittish cars and American trucks, not much about the old muscle cars except that they are sweet rides but that link that Dale posted is very cool indeed

Mary Anne - i agree with you 100% - it is very cute, and efficient it has to be very efficient at $7.38 per gallon!!!! that is the price i have to pay for my gas over here most standard cars over here do about 40mpg but the great thing about my little Matiz is that it is quite nippy 0-60 officially in about 12secs, but i have done it in 9.5, thanks to a little tweaking under the hood i will see about posting up a photo of the little engine as well at some point - it is tiny!!! it is going to be so cool though when i get my dixie horn installed, and i am thinking of getting a confederate flag rear window tint, and 01 graphics for the doors, but i think it might not work somehow by the way - for anyone who is interested, Matiz Owners Club there are a few people who like the Matiz, although i am the only owner of a chevy on the site - member #69

yep - hence the 'american badass' part - one of kid rock's best selling songs could you imagine how different DOH would have been if the Lee was a bike?

it all depends how much time, money and effort you are willing to put into the project. a mate of mine here in the UK has converted an old Ford Orion into a General Lee replica, and he replaced the stock engine with a brand new 2L pinto engine, replaced all the suspension, hubs, axles, brakes and gearbox with new parts and strengthened the chassis he uses it as his daily driver, but only because he knows that it wont break down even 1% as much as it would have if he had left it as stock old cars are great, and i dont know what the conditions are like out there, but they can corrode out of sight, right where you least want it to corrode Remember: Time wastes away rust parts. Rusty parts waste away time. but good luck to ya whatever you decide to do

hey - it was a pretty good movie - not as good as the first (mainly cos of the lack of charger) but still pretty good on the whole and the Camero was pretty sweet as well - but i like all old school muscle cars, not just Chargers

dont worry - ive got it and it is really simple to install - i bought the easy one - it is all colour coded!!! cant wait to use it though
-
Bishop Don Magic Juan by The Ghettobillies - great band - small time bands are often the best also listening to Throw It Up by Lil Jon and the East Side Boyz - sorry meadowmufn - its that rap crap - but good lowrider hopping music and of course - Technologicless by Dominic Mulvaney - great musician there - very talented - oh wait - thats me!
-
hahahahahaha - i love it - it is great - i think it is brilliant - wonderful - it is just fappin sweet mate that should be in the frickin tate modern - better than some of the crud thats in there (piss holes in the snow mainly) that is just plain brilliant
-
my sentiments exactly bout trucks there - but ooh - i am soo envious of you - i have wanted a ram for soo long - but they are too expensive in england - £25,000 (about $45,000 US dollars)
-
you are all lucky in my opinion - i have just got my first car and it is a 2005 Chevrolet - sounds good so far - it is a 2005 Chevrolet Matiz!!! 1.0L SOHC 4-cylinder, producing 63 horses, 0-60 in 12.9 secs, 64lb/ft torque at 4200rpm and a top speed of 94mph i have bought a Dixie air horn for it - just need to install it now it has a 5-speed manual and is a great car to drive and dont cost too much to run - 44.1miles per gallon - not bad when gas in England costs the equivilent of $7.43 per gallon!!!!! Take a look for yourself:
-
heavy metal rock metal new rock they all rule Anthrax, SOAD, Ghettobillies, Black Sabbath, Led Zepplin, and of course - the best band ever from the great country called England - IRON MAIDEN! IRON MAIDEN have got to be the best rock metal band EVER!!!
-
you are not alone there Jessi - my uncle had a similar problem - except he had a front plate with the Anti-Whale Hunting Logo on it - an dhe was fined for having a 'violent cult related emblem' on his car he works for Greenpeace for Christ's sake - what else is he gonna have on his car - a 'Lets all eat seals today' front plate? he complained and his fine was withdrawn and the officer was given a warning - but it should not be like that regs on vehicles in England are pretty bad - you are not allowed to have ANY flag on your vehicle - not even a Union Flag! you can be fined over here if your licence plate is slightly the wrong size or if the numbers are too close together!
-
yeah - here in the UK we have a few music channels that are completely different to MTV or VH1 a great example is Scuzz - rock metal all the way - they had a program on at one point called Newlyweds - The Truth and it was a complete rip off of the proper show - it was hilarious Jessica Simpson actually admitted that she was surprised that she got the part of Daisy Duke, but the question is, of the 2 major choices, who would you prefer, Jessica Simpson or Britney Spears - Jessica is my choice
-
i agree with jhm on this one 100% - i have seen the film and at first i thought it was cathy but soon realised my error jessica was chosen because of her looks - nothing else - she apparently has the look that could fill in cathys shoes
-
ive seen it before but it always has the same effect on me
-
Are there any UK fans out there on MSN If there are - my addy is: dominicmulvaney@hotmail.co.uk Add me and then we can talk about DOH sorry - no knock on y'all in the US - just easier to talk to someone in the same time zone and more ideas we can share between UK fans
-
i am getting a dixie air horn for my Chevy (i love saying that) for £30 off of E-Bay anyone in the uk wants one - go on e-bay - £30 inc p&p i would like to add that i now have the horn and it is excellent - pity bout the car though - Chevrolet Matiz!
-
I was wondering if anyone could give me a quick general guide on how to install a melody air horn i know it needs to be away from the engine itself and away from the radiator i am planning on installing it behind my bumper onto the inside of the front right wing - does that sound about right? any help will be greatly appreciated
-
by the way - would that be the black tilly with the long flat trunk or the black tilly with the rounded trunk i have only seem the one with the rounded trunk in 1 episode - and that was a 30s Mustang i believe dont know about the flat trunk one

for me it would have to be Eagle SS - very rare kit car - one of my best friends has one http://www.eaglekitcars.co.uk/Cars/EagleSS/EagleSS_Cars/EagleSS_Register/Kenneth_Crane.htm another fave car is the classic DeLorean DMC - excellent piece of engineering, shame about the engineers! i also like the McLaren F1 GTR Longtail - nice car - shame about the gear stick but my all time fave would have to be Dodge Ram SRT-10 Single Cab - a V-10 powered truck - excellent
