  1. Jesse sighed softly, just looking at his eldest charge for a moment. He knew that Luke was feeling bad about what happened between him and Bo and was really only just realizing what Bo had been saying all along. A part of him was tempted to let Luke stay here like he wanted, purely so that if Bo could hear Luke then it would give Luke a chance to say to him everything he needed to without Bo interrupting and mouthing back. However, he also knew how Luke could get if he got worried enough and he knew that sleep and food would become the very last thing on his mind. Sighing, he shook his head. "M'sorry son but this time I agree with Daisy...you can spend all day here if you want, you can bring a lunch from home in the morning...but you come home every night, eat a proper meal and get a good night's sleep and eat breakfast in the morning when you wake up. One of you kids in here is quite enough, and don't say you won't end up here too son...you know as well as I do that if you get worried enough you'll neglect what's important."
  2. lol hey, yes that is my real birthday how awsome is that! :D

  3. Daisy bit her lip, glancing up at Jesse as he said that, shaking her head softly, "Luke he could be in here a long time...you need t'sleep and eat properly or chances are yer gonna end up right beside him cousin...he needs you, and all your attention...he can't have that if your exhausted and malnurished..."
  4. Bo now couldn't hear anything once more, sleeping deeply both physically and in his mind. Daisy looked up as she stood with Jesse as Luke walked out the room, hurrying over to him quickly. "Luke...Luke we heard the alarms...what happened is..is he..."
  5. For a moment, it looked like the medication wasn't going to do anything...but slowly, gradually it started to as the heart monitor's beeps started to lower in number to a more normal level and the numbers on the machine monitoring his blood pressure slowly dropped. It was like being given a sedative, though Bo didn't fully understand as he started to cease thinking as he was forced into sleep, exactly how he could be asleep physically but be awake mentally. He could do nothing but accept that fact however as he slipped further and further underneath the medication's influence and eventually the jumbles of noises and words became silent and he was plunged back into a quiet, black oblivion.
  6. It was such a weird feeling...feeling yourself breathing slowly but your heart racing and your blood pounding through your ears...pounding through a body you couldn't feel. He could hear Luke shouting something at the people who were around him - who he assumed to be doctors and nurses - but he couldn't make out the words being said. All he knew was that Luke was still there. He couldn't feel any hands on his body except when they moved near his head but he knew that the doctors had to be panicing about what was going on...in all truth he didn't know either. All he knew was that he needed Luke to stay, that suddenly he couldn't feel anything below his neck an he was fairly certain he was on some life support machines. He was stuck in a panic attack he couldn't tell anyone about...
  7. Somewhere, somehow in Bo's mind he could hear his older cousins words and he supposed that he was thankful he couldn't interrupt him. Had he been awake, he certainly wouldn't have let Luke in the room let alone say anything to him...but with his ability to be stubborn out the way he could hear Luke's words, feel the gentle hand on his head...that was the Luke he wanted...the Luke who did that for him when he was sick, the Luke who did stupid things like the fishing trip he mentioned...he was there, and suddenly Bo was afraid that if Luke walked out the door he wouldn't be back again. He knew Cassie had to be around someplace...where Luke was, Cassie wasn't usually far behind. In truth, he was also frightened about being in this situation again...laying with a hole in his body that could eaisly kill him at any given moment. He knew something other was wrong with him that no one who sat with him would mention, even when he was supposed to be unconcious...but he couldn't quite put his finger on it. He needed his strong older cousin by him for support and guidance as much as he did his Uncle, and so slowly he tried to force his hand to curl into a fist....except he couldn't feel his hand...that was what was wrong...he couldn't really feel any part of his body... His breathing stayed the same behind the ventilator he didn't know he was on, but suddenly his blood pressure and heart rate started to race...setting of the alarms on the machines around him.
  8. As before though, Bo remained pale and almost lifeless in between the hospital sheets. Whether or not he could hear Luke was a different matter, but he could give no indication that he could for the medication being pumped into him for the pain.
  9. Howdy, welcome to Hazzardnet :D

  10. lol well we do try to be friendly :-P Glad you feel so welcomed. Look forward to many more interesting conversations lol

  11. Hey i'll send you a visitor message...HEY!!! lol It was great chatting with you on the chat board :) Welcome to Hnet!

  12. Yeah it kinda sucked, but we dont know for sure that was the reason why. Meh, ah well. She's always a VIP and an Ultimate Dukes Fan to me
  13. Depends also if they are natural blonde or not. I know for a fact John dyes his hair, he's really a brunette lol
  14. 'In the Driver's Seat' by John Schneider
  15. Have to say did anyone also spot John's son Chasen? He's the guy right in the beginning who the 'guy with the bad past who got the girl pregnant' (LOL) asks about a paper. Chasen tells him that he's contracted to the football team this year. That's Chasen Schneider's first appearence (besides Collier and Co) on film
  16. Hey, its alright, we can't all be perfect like me Nah i'm kidding, I didn't know who wrote it either till I looked on the back of the Reunion DVD's to see. Its a shame you still feel that way about them though, cause in reality its not Jesse that's supposed to look frail - its Denver because of his fight with cancer. So technically Jesse's not supposed to be so ailing - another reason why you shouldn't let it bother you so much. The farm is clearly doing well in the reunion movie, and we all knew the boys couldn't stay in Hazzard county forever, throughout the show we could see they're dreams were far bigger than Hazzard County's walls. In an ideal world, yes they would have stayed there forever and ever, grown old there and died there...but Dukes was the closest thing to reality (save for the flying cars lol) that I have ever seen on television in such a long time and I think the fact the boys followed their dreams and made something of themselves continues in that realistic style of television. I am so proud of the way Gy took those reunion movies when they could have eaisly just been a continuation of the series with nothing much changed - why change what isn't broken right? But hey, its your opinion and I got no right to try and force mine on you. I'm just stating how I feel and if others agree and helps them to be a little more positive about a negative thing then that's a bonus.
  17. Hey Rog, Once again I sense great negativity coming from you, so once again I have to intercept and try and inject some positivity in! lol. The thing with Undercover Dukes was, Daisy was the most angry that they boys were leaving on Jesse's birthday and the fact that they couldn't give them a good explanation as to why they had siuddenly decided to go again except 'Its just the way it is with Luke and Me'. I would have been pretty mad at that too. Agreed however, she did bring up the fact about spring crops and Jesse not being able to plant them on his own. However, in the reunion movies things are very different. The boys are now off their probation, free to go whereever they pleased. As they said, Bo arrived at NASCAR by accident when he was trying to find the Grand ol' Oprey. The order in which the reunion introduced the cousins back, I believe, is the order in which they left. It has always been Bo's dream to drive with NASCAR professionally and Jesse would NOT let Bo give up that dream for him. With all the money he was earning now, you can bet he sent lots home because the house has been modified and made bigger and also there would be enough money coming in for Jesse to pay for farm hands to help him. Just from Bo's income alone. Daisy's gone off to college - she's never been on probation with boys and could have left anytime she wanted to. Fact is she was there all her life because the house needed a female figure to help run it. I'm glad she was finally doing something far more productive than just being a stay home, cook and clean girl. She went on to try and get a degree at University which Jesse would be so proud of. And again, with Bo's income, they could afford it. Now you can bet Luke wasn't going to go without a fight, he being the one that would take over the role of patriarch when Jesse passed. However, that being said,. Jesse would almost insist Luke go out and so what he would love to before he has to be tied down to the farm himself. Jesse would be ashamed if he begged the kids to stay or made them stay because of his ailing age, and also, if the writers had kept the kids at the farm, all we'd see of the Dukes is them doing the same thing they always had done. We'd moan and gripe about how they never moved on in their lives after their probation, what could have become of them and all that. At the end of the reunion movie, true they didn't say they were staying at all. Daisy obviously had to go back and finish her degree but we dont know if the boys stayed or not. However, i think they did as at the beginning of the second reunion movie, we dont have them coming back from anywhere. They're already at the farm, speeding around in the General with Luke now as the patriarch of the family. As for the writers, Gy Waldron wrote the script - the original creator of the Dukes! So, actually, it was written by someone who knows Dukes way better than any of us could. So yeah, that's my two cents worth. I personally love the fact that the boys moved on with their lives away from the farm after near 10 years of being on probation, its what they deserved and what most of us expected. Jesse would never have let them stay on the farm with a future ahead of them once the probation had gone but you can guarentee they'd always come back and look after him if he ever needed it. Hope that makes you just a tad more positive even if you dont buy the reunion movies - which would be a shame really because they are far more true to the Dukes than the recently made ones....yuuuck....
  18. lol thanks Roger and anyone else who posts here lol. I already said thanks to Daisy seeing as i'm living in her home already hehe. I cant wait to get down to Georgia on Wednesday and look round the original filming site of the Dukes and of course getting to see the cast at Dukesfest! Its gonna be so much fun, i'm already having a blast here Its so green...so different to London...smog, grey buildings and badly behaved drivers everywhere is usually my scenery in London...my hometown aint too bad though. Looking forward to meeting a lot of you at Dukesfest Keep it tween the ditches everyone...otherwise you might not get there hehe BoJames
  19. Yup it was an interview on TV and Lori I agree, him being there one day is definitly better than him not being there at all. Dukesfest without both Duke boys just seems wrong. But whoever turns up and who don't, its gonna be a great weekend!
  20. He can now only appear on the Sunday of Dukesfest this year because of his Broadway Schedule John has recently reported in an interview.
  21. Poor guy...John loves it all, I'll bet if he ever got a stalker he'd find it funny and just go and make a friend out of them or something lmao. But yeah, Tom's only appearing on Sunday this year due to his Broadway Scheduling which is gonna create a lot of work for the poor guy because so many people will be wanting to get his autograph that day. But hey, i'm just glad he's coming at all
  22. lol the thing about John is, anyone who knows him well knows he was being sarcastic - it was the subtle '200 general lees are turning up' (as if saying yeah right we're gonna make em all cover up) Anyone who doesn't know him so good wouldn't know that. Shows how good an actor our good ol' boy is! lol
  23. *looks over his shoulder, looking at the letters as Luke did*
