  1. Daisy smiled as she walked back to the bar, pleased to see that B.L was settling into the role very quickly. "You know I don't know why you don't work here, you'd be great." Bo gently looked up with tear stained eyes to Luke as he loosened his grip, feeling the pain surge across his back but showing no indication that he even knew he had a deep welt there. The dream had been so life like, the feeling of having a dying Luke in his arms all to real, all to terrifying. And yet here he was, holding him like he always had done, and so was Uncle Jesse. He sighed gently still keeping his grip on the pillow just to have something to hold in his arms, like it was the only thing keeping Luke alive even though he knew it wasn't.
  2. Daisy smiled and quickly showed B.L the ropes before heading over to the tables and starting her work. Gradually the shaking subsided and Bo clamed down a little more his grip on the pillow not loosening any though. His breathing however was back to the normality that was expected and he gently squeezed Uncle Jesse's hand back.
  3. Daisy laughed too as she made her way behind the bar. "Well what did you expect, without me all they's got to serve 'em beer is ol' Charlie here." She playfully and gently slapped Charlie the bartender on the arm before giving him a swift hug and then motioning for B.L to come behind too. "C'mon, its simple. You seen me do this 'afore right?" Bo shuddered again as all the images of his dream kept rolling through his head. For now he didn't think he could even speak let alone recount the whole thing to Jesse and Luke. As he still tried to calm himself down, he reached over, one hand letting go of the pillow and finding Jesse's, although the other hand still kept a death grip on the pillow.
  4. Daisy laughed and pulled away in Dixie, making quick time in getting to the Boar's Nest, smiling as cheers and whoops erupted as the girls walk in. Bo shuddered and wiped the water and sweat away from his face, still shaking violently and cuddling into Luke, despite the pain in his back, calming more at Jesse and Luke's words.
  5. Daisy nodded and sighed, getting into Dixie "I can't help it....he's been through so much and yet it still affects him now." She jumped into Dixie and revved the engine, waiting for B.L. Bo jerked awake as the cold water hit his face, tears streaming panting hard and whimpering looking wildly around him.
  6. Daisy nodded, hearing Luke's voice getting louder and looking back towards the bedroom, before getting to her feet and grabbing the keys to Dixie. "Come on then, we'll see what kinda state the Boar's Nest's in today." She quickly scribbled a note to Jesse, Luke and Bo telling them where she and B.L were if they needed her and started towards the door. Bo cried out again as his back lightly bruhed Luke and Luke tried to wrench the pillow more from his grasp. he flung one arm out wildly, trying to get whoever it was who was pulling what he thought was Luke away from him. He missed Luke however and very nearly sent his fist crashing into the small bedside cabinet beside his bed, just missing it.
  7. Daisy watched him go and sighed gently, knowing that if Luke and Jesse were there then Bo would be alright without her. She looked up at the clock. "Oh dang, I gotta get movin' or I'm gonna be late fer work. Ya gonna come B.L?" Bo gripped his pillow tighter, sobbing as Jesse's hand lay itself over his, as though he were clinging to something. "NO! HE's gone....Uncle Jesse he's dead Uncle Jesse! I couldn't save him." As Luke gently pulled on his shoulders he tried to break away. "Don't take ma away from him now....let me go with him! Let me go with him!"
  8. Bo gave a small strangled cry, eyes still firmly squeezed shut, his hands clenching the pillow beneath his head. "No! Uncle jesse get away from here....get away....they're gonna kill ya....kill all o'ya....they got Luke, oh god they got Luke...gotta save him...gotta save him...." Daisy nodded and was about to say something when she heard Uncle Jesse say something softly. She couldn't make out what it was but she soon heard the small stangled cry come from the room. She looked worridly to Luke, knowing he'd be the one that could shake Bo from a nightmare if Uncle Jesse couldn't...
  9. Daisy hugged B.L more as her head came off the table and smiled gently at her, agreeing with Luke. "Yeah, Bo tends to get more cranky than usual when he's tired. He's very nearly given Luke a good smack in the face becaus he's overtired before. Don't worry about it, he'll be up smiling and apologising before too long, you'll see." As Jesse gently stroked his hair, Bo's face creased gently into a frown and his breathing quickened, his body starting to tremble and a small whimper escaped his throat. "Luke..."
  10. Daisy sighed and saw the confused look on Luke's face. She leant up to his ear and gently whispered what had happened with Bo. After that she broke away from his embrace and went over to wrap an arm gently around B.L's shoulders. "You ain't done nothin' wrong B.L, you were worried we both were. We just wanted ta know what had happened..."
  11. Looks out the window as she hears a door slam and sees Jesse stadning next to the truck, obviously trying to gather himself. She turned back to Luke. "Well he's here now....someone needs to tend to that welt on his back or its gonna get infected real quick with his immune system bein' as weak as it is....."
  12. Daisy sat still for a moment before pulling away looking shocked up at Luke. "He really was gonna go through and switch him...I didn't think he would....oh God poor Bo....have you seen his back or did Bo just tell ya?"
  13. Daisy sighed and wrapped her arms round Luke's waist. "Luke what's happened to Bo? There's somethin' goin' on besides Uncle Jesse yellin' which is what he said happened....what ain't he tellin' us?
  14. Daisy couldn't help but stiffle a laugh as B.L looked like she was ready to pounce on Luke as soon as she walked through the door. She joined B.L in the kitchen, looking more concerned than angry as B.L looked. "Luke...."
  15. Daisy pulled B.L into a hug. "It'll be alright....we's just gotta wait for Luke is all...." As soon as the girls left, Bo's eyes practically dropped closed. He was sound asleep within minutes. Jesse smiled as Luke walked around the car and watched as he gunned the powerful orange stock car away, thinking at that moment, he couldn't have asked for three greater kids than the ones he had.
  16. Bo glared back as B.L left the room. Daisy watched her younger cousin turn away again and sighed, leaving the room and going to B.L in the hallway. "I didn't think it was a good idea...." Jesse nodded and stood up, heading back over to the pick up. "I think yer right....I'll see ya back at the farm."
  17. Bo looked just as determindly back at B.L, the fire springin back up behind his eyes. Jesse laughed gently, ruffling Luke's hair fondly.
  18. Bo sighed and turned back to her. "Then will ya quit with the questions and leave me be! I told ya, I ain't tellin' ya what happened, no way no how, I'm tired and I wanna go ta sleep." Jesse smiled softly, looking down at the top of a head that was covered with an unruly mop of dark curls. Luke had always been the one to guide his younger cousins through the lessons that Jesse just couldn't teach them, especially after he had returned from his four year service in the marines. Luke had grown wiser than he (luke) thought, and it was times like this Jesse felt immensly proud of him. He chuckles gently. "You best be careful Luke. You's startin' ta sound like me. If you don't watch it you's gonna be lookin like me too."
  19. Daisy sat on the bed, looking down at her hands that were clasped in her lap. She hated having to interrogate Bo like this. Bo continued to ignore her, keeping his head turned away and letting his eyes slip closed. Jesse nodded gently. "Yes...but I know you's has the common sense ta know when you's gone too far and stop. Bo just don't seem ta get that...."
  20. Bo sighed irriated and turned his head away from her to look out the window. He wasn't going to give into this, if all else failed he would really fall asleep and then he wouldn't have to worry. He was such a deep sleeper that if a hurricane came through he still wouldn't wake up. Jesse chuckled slightly "That's more outta habit than 'cause i's tellin ya off..."
  21. Bo grumbled under his breath. "B.L just leave me alone! There ain't nothing to talk about...." Jesse shook his head sadly and sighed a deep heavy sigh. "Sometimes I wonder what gets into that boy's head....I shouldn't have ta be switchin' him at his age...."
  22. Daisy certainly didn't want to anger or upset Bo, so she looked back at B.L with a shrug. If she wanted to press on then she could, knowing that B.L could deal with the boys anger better than her, all she ever seemed to do was get more angry herself. Jesse nodded, looking out over the swamp. "Just 'cause he ain't upset don't mean that I can't be..."
  23. Bo could feel his temper rising and had to quickly clench his fists underneath the pillow to keep himself calm, feeling his fingernails digging into his pal to distract him from the anger. "B.L....Daisy.....I's is real tired right now.....just let me alone..." Daisy looked worridly at him as she noticed the muscles alone his jaw tighten in anger. Jesse sighed softly and nodded. "I had a feelin' ya might...."
  24. Daisy followed her friends action, sitting next to her crossing her arms. "Come on Bo out with it. You's gonna tell us what happened with you and Jesse or not?" Bo sighed and rolled his eyes. "There ain't nothin' ta tell....he yelled at me and gave me a good lecture is all now will ya leave me alone so I's can get some sleep." Jesse sat looking out over the swamp, thinking about just how many trucks, cars police officers and the like his two boys had sunk in there alone. He heard Luke pull up in General Lee, not needing to turn around as he heard the clank of footsteps on metal as he clamboured across. He smiled as he felt the hand slip worridly onto his shoulder and the concern evident in the young man's voice. "Just dandy Luke....but you won't be if I hear you walk across that hood again. How many times has I told ya that you could slip and break yer neck doin' that?"
  25. Bo very nearly cried out as B.L shook his foot, causing the bed to bounce slightly which aggrivated the still sore welt on his back. He was thankful his face was hidden so he could bite back the cry. Eventually he sighed and turned his head to look at them. "I'm real tired....can't you just talk to Luke?" Jesse 10-4'd Luke's message and then sat on an old tree stump by the pick up, waiting for his eldest.
