Bo sighed deeply and remained focused on the ceiling, not knowing what else to do. He wanted to ask what exacttly the tube was doing but he was still too afraid to ask despite the doctors reassurances. daisy had settled herself in the lounge, attempting to take her mind off things by reading a book.

Bo frowned, a little wary as to who it might be. He knew it couldn't be any memeber of his family, they hadn't conacted him in 4 years why would they start now. he walked silently with the guard to the visiting room and nearly reeled backwards when he saw Enos standing there. "Enos! What the heck are you doin' here?"

Bo huddled a little more into Luke as the Doc started checking him over, still not trusting him as he used to anymore. As Luke had discovered, Doctor's were sneaky and he now didn't like them one bt.

Daisy sighed a little, looking over to Enod "Enos don't make promises like that....Bo probably don't even care cause he was the one who put Luke here....I wouldn't be surprised if he just turns tale and runs without ever thinkin' bout Luke again." Enos looked down at the floor, shaking his head. He refused to believe that about Bo, he refused to believe that Bo cared so little and he couldn't wait to go and see him so he could confirm to Daisy what he believed to be true.

Daisy's heart stopped a little at Luke's words but she smiled at them anyway, shrugging and whispering "S'alright." She stepped out the room and down the hall, calling, "Doc....Doc Bo's awake again..." Bo just lay there passivly, not having the energy to cry nor to make any kind of gesture to Luke.

Bo wanted to talk back, but only shook his head and looked away. Too frightened to talk...the last time a tube had been in his throat, he couldn't talk for a good period of time afterwards and the pain was just awful....he didn't want to add that on top of everything else he was feeling...

Eventually Bo started to come round, groaning softly and swallowing gently, trying to get used to the horrible intrusion in the very back of his throat and his nose. It wasn't as bad as the breathing tube, but it was still horrible... Daisy looked down at Bo as he stirred and smiled softly, wiping away her tears. "Shhhh s'alright Bo....we're both here still....shhhhh"

Daisy chuckled slightly "You are a good cop Enos....Rosco's just jealous that he ain't as good as you is all...." As the silence fell once more, Daisy turned her attention back to the road and Bo. she loved Bo deep in her heart and she just couldn't understand why on earth she was so firmly set that Bo was guilty as charged. Odd things always happened in Hazzard and they always semed to happen to Bo and Luke....how had everything turned so drastically wrong?

Enos sighed softly, watching Daisy with a heavy heart. He had known the Dukes for a long time and never had they given up so eaisly when one of their own was facing something like this....he wondered if even Luke would want Bo to live like he was at the moment.... "I am gonna Daisy...I'm sorry but I can't believe that Bo really would want to hurt Luke I just can't. I'm sorry Daisy, but it also hurts seein' y'all torn apart like ya have been and I can't stand by and watch my best friends all be ruined because of somethin' that may not be true....."

Enos sighed and looked back to the front. Yes, the evidence had all pointed in that direction....but then again it wasn't exactly hard to frame someone for that....especally not when Boss Hogg was invloved. Once more he spoke his mind, terrified when Daisy was mad but still wanting to tell her how he felt. "Daisy....I really don't think Bo's capable of that....and I mean....well....what had he got to gain by gettin' Luke out the way? There's a motive behind everythin Daisy and I can't see one here.....I really think somethin' wierd is going on here and....i want to....i want to check it out further...." he winced and ducked a little in his seat, waitng for the shouting.

Daisy stiffened in her seat at the mention of Bo's name, and the thought that so often rang through her head rode through again. Was it entirly fair that they had just abandoned Bo as they had done? After the sentenceing, she and Uncle jesse had just stormed out of the court room leaving behind a heart broken Duke.... she didn't understand it, the most important thing in the world to a Duke was family and Bo was one of the firmest believers of that. So how in the world did Bo manage to intentionally hurt a member of that family, especially someone who he loved and cared for so deeply that being seperated from him had made him physically sick.... Her thoughts then turned to Luke, lying in the hospital bed as he had been for the past 4 years with no significant improvement....if only he would wake up and tell them the truth of what happened....at least then she could rid herself of the terrible nagging feeling that they had all done something so terribly terribly wrong in abandoning Bo. She softened slightly and looked over at Enos....she knew that the news about Bo had hit him hard too, after all Enos was practically a duke he was such a close family friend....so why on earth did he insist on seeing Bo... "Enos.....do you know something....about what happened? Is that why yer so all fired anxious to see Bo?"

Daisy watched Luke as they both listened to the song. She took Bo's hand gently in hers and squeezed it softly feeling so utterly helpless. she couldn't help Bo and she couldn't help Luke....there was no one she could help, all she could do was sit and wait it out with the family. She rested her head against Luke's chest again, whispering softly but still crying. "he'll never leave us Luke....not really he won't....s#long as ya keep him alive in yer heart and yer memories....it wont ever be the same but.....s'the best we can do fer him now...."

Daisy wrapped her arms round Luke's middle and snuggled into him a bit more, crying herself for her youngest cousin. "I know....and Uncle Jesse knows, everyone knows this is gonna be so hard on ya Luke...o'course it'll hit us all hard but....Luke he ain't gettin' no better....the medicine ain't killin' the bug it's just holdin' it steady it appears....Oh luke please just find a way to let him go....I can't stand seeing him like this anymore, this isn't how I wanna remember him...."

Daisy swallowed too and asked tearily, chocking back sobs. "But Luke...wouldn't it be kinder to let him go....look at him Luke.....how can you expect him to keep living like this??"

Daisy sat in Luke's lap, gently resting her head against his chest, the tears that Luke could hold back slipping down her own cheeks. She knew as well as the rest of the family did that Bo wasn't getting any better....that everyday was just prolonging the agony for him....and yet Bo kept on living each day...she looked up gently at Luke... "Luke....ya don't think...the only reason Bo's fighting is because....he's waiting fer you to tell him its ok to go....do ya?"

Bo sighed and shook hs head, even with the brotherly bond that he and Luke had always shared he couldn't even sense if his cousin was still with them or not. Every night he prayed and pleaded with Luke to come back and save him....every night he wept silently for his older cousin who he had hurt....of course he hadn't meant to, he would never hurt Luke on purpose....but all evidence they had against him pointed otherwise....and it all had conviently been easy to find....

Bo shifted only a little as the Doc started but made no other move than that, keeping deadly still. Daisy too went with Luke until the proceedure was done and very nearly burst into tears herself at the sight of the tubing now in Bo's nose....she felt so sorry for him and a part of her was whispering that it would be so much eaisier on him just for him to die....

The drug started to take effect almost immidiatly, Bo's eyes practically falling closed within a minute. He went limper and limper in Luke's arms until eventually he was completly resting against him. Daisy helped Luke to ease Bo into lying and then waited for more instructions from the Doc, gently squeezing Luke's shoulder,

Bo refused to look at anyone, only ducked his head knowing that whatever he said wouldn't make any difference anyway, they would do what they thought they had to.... Daisy sighed and looked up at Luke and then the Doc, wondering what was going to happen....she would help whatever they needed to do, determined to help Luke as much as Bo to cope.... Cooter smiled as B.L fell asleep and settled back to get some rest himself.

Daisy swallowed and went over to sit with Bo and Luke, watching Bo for a moment but when he didn't protest to her telling Luke she continued. "Luke....those nightmares he has....everytime he has them they're always the same....we're all tied up with the guys who held him hostage....and they point a gun at each of us but....but it's always you who gets shot and Bo's kinda....frozen, held back from helping you until its too late and....each time you....you die in his arms luke then someone tries to take you away from him....that's why he won't sleep....'cause....oh Luke it has to be awful seeing that over and over even though you know it aint real!" Bo shuddered in Luke's arms as Daisy started talking and clamped his hands firmly over his ears, his eyes wide open and staring at the wall. Cooter remained holding B.L. gently soothing her into sleep as best he could...

Bo choked and huddled further into himself. He didn't want anything done to him, he wanted to be left alone.....just left alone to live out whatever time he had left. "Neither....don't do neither....s'up to me and i don't want neither so just leave me alone!" Cooter sighed and hugged B.L. a little tighter as they pulled into the Davenport Farm driveway. he gently led her into the farmhouse and put her to bed, gently rocking her and soothing her like he had done when she was a little kid.

As soon as Luke let go, Bo wrapped his own arms protectivly round himself, curling up as much as he could in order to protect himself as much as he could from the Doc. He shook his head, trembling, feeling very much like a scared little kid once more. "Just...don't make me Luke.....don't make me...." Cooter nodded and kept his eyes on the road. "I Know....your braver than me....i couldn't even bare to go in the room.....god knows what this is really doing to luke inside his head...."

Bo had no choice but to let Luke hold him against his chest, although he still slightly wriggled his hands from Luke's grasp, very much fearing that the Doc would be sneaky and slip the drug into his arm while Luke was holding him. He knew it was pointless but he tried once more, hiccuping as he spoke pleadingly. "Luke....please don't make me sleep Luke....tol' Daisy....please don't make me sleep....please....." Daisy bit her lip at the mention that she knew what was wrong with Bo, knowing Luke would be quizzing her the first oppertunity she got. Cooter drove off down the road, putting one arm out and pulling B.L. close. "Shhhhh....alright B.L.....just let it outt...."

Bo shook his head and squeezed his eyes shut again, trying once more to pull his arms out of Luke's grip to cover his face with them. "I don't want ta go ta sleep.....don't want the tube....I don't want to live like this...." Cooter shook his head and guided her outside and into the wrecker. "B.L....they need each other right now and what good are ya gonna be ta them all wore out? Your coming home and that's final, I'll go back in a while once yer settled and see if they need help, but right now you have ta get some proper rest and food."

Normally Bo would have laughed but now it was just too much to bare knowing he depended so much on a guy he didn't even trust no more. "Luke help me get away....please luke don't let him do it...please don't let him do it...." Daisy felt so sorry for Luke....knowing that Luke had no choice but to let the doctor do it.... Cooter sighed and picked B.L. up, guiding her down the hall. "C'mon now, i think you need to come home fer a while. They'll let ya know if anything happens...."
