Bo looked to him with a smile, putting an arm around his shoulders gently. "Anytime cousin...you know that..."

Bo nodded "Yeah true..."

Bo nodded and chuckled "And then we call in the last resort...."

Jesse headed quietly into the room and went to the sleeping teenagers side softly. Bo watched too, nodding a little. "Well if Uncle Jesse can't do it, I guess I gotta take a turn huh?" He asked with a grin.

Yeah true....I think the whole Daisy coming as a 6 year old really screws things up...what I always thought was Bo came as a 6 month old - which I have heard somewhere and not in a fan fic - so Daisy was 2 and Luke was 4...

Hey, here's a thought. What if Jessie didn't mean that they arrived at the farm when they were that small as in parents died...what if he meant they were born at the farm and arrived into the world at that size...its a heck of a long stretch lol, but its all that I can think of. Because otherwise, how on earth would Luke have known about Jud in the the first place if he was only little when his parents passed? His parents wouldn't have told him about him and possibly not even have had Jud! lol So then, if the parents then all died in the same car crash, it could be feaseable that Bo, Luke and Daisy arrived at different ages. If Daisy is 6, then Luke would have been 8 and Bo 4. That is the only way it could have made any sense to me. What is also interesting is, is that Daisy says in the reunion movie that her mother died giving birth to her....does that mean that really only her father was killed in the car crash? :-S

Jesse nodded with a smile. "Well, lets just see what I can do...I'll go talk with her..."

Jesse smiled back and nodded, patting his shoulder.

Jesse nodded "You know that i'll support whatever decision you make son...and i'll help ya in any way I can...we all will....but all I ask is that ya properly think this over before you do anythin'..."

Jesse nodded, pleased on the one hand that Luke felt so sure and strongly about what he was doing but concerned on the other hand that maybe Luke would be letting himself in for more than he could handle...not only did this girl have a secret that needed to be protected but she would also have a fair amount of emotional scarring from the abuse she had suffered...that on top of the stress of everything that had happened may just prove her to be more of a responsibility than Luke anticipated. It wasn't that he didn't want Luke to do this...in fact he couldn't be prouder that Luke was considering this...he just wanted to make sure Luke understood and knew what he was letting himself in for. "I hear what yer sayin' Luke an' I agree with ya there....thing is son...there is more to lookin' after a child than givin' it a place to say an' love to nourish it...there's gonna be very hard patches, especially with her, that you're gonna have to go through that will undoubtledly but strain on your relationship with her sometimes...and you'll have to quit yer skirt chasin' every night with Bo...she's gonna need ya....there's gonna be a lot yer gonna have to give up Luke..."

All in all there are 7 cousins including Bo Luke and Daisy. There is Bo Duke Luke Duke Daisy Duke Jud Kane Jeb Stuart Duke Coy Duke Vance Duke Bo and Luke appear in near all the episodes, bar Season 5 mainly and a couple of epiosodes where John was missing doing NASCAR or whatever . Daisy I believe appears in all (?) Jud Kane, as Luke's brother, classifies as a Duke to Bo and Daisy and he of course appears in Brotherly Love, Season 6, epsiode 4. Jeb Stuart, in my opinion, is the coolest of the cousins and he appears in Along Came a Duke in Season 3, Epsiode 17. And of course Coy and Vance appear in Season 5, Episodes 1 through to 19. Gaylord Duke appears in Season 2's Duke of Duke...however he cannot be counted as a cousin because he is a phoney guy, not really a cousin.

Jesse looked over to his eldest and regarde him silently. He had grown a lot over the years and his maturity and common sense were well above that of his age....but sometimes he could be just as ruled by his heart as Bo could when he had a mind. "Luke...taking custody of a child is a huge responsibility..."

Jesse nodded, mulling over what Luke had said. "That we do..."

"So...what kind of thing are ya needin' my help for Luke?" Jesse asked gently, getting straight down to the point now that he knew his kids were safe and well.

Jesse hugged Bo before looking to Luke and opening his arms to him.

It wasn't too long before Jesse stepped into the waiting room, smiling. "There's my boys..." Bo looked up and smiled, crossing over to him and hugging him. "We're ok Uncle Jesse..."

Bo grinned back "Ain't I just..."

Bo grinned, sitting down and stretching out his long legs. "You always do...even if yer old age sometimes gets in the way of it comin' to ya quickly..."

Bo laughed, putting his arm around Luke's shoulders. "You'll think o'somethin'..."

Bo nodded and headed back to the waiting room with him "What're you gonna tell him?"

"Alright I'll be there in a little while..." Jesse promised before they said the goodbyes and hung up. Bo pushed away from the wall. "So..."

Jesse sighed and nodded "I'll be right there...anyone you want me to bring?"

Jesse frowned a little. "What kinda help?"

Jessie sighed with relief as he heard Luke, shaking his head although Luke couldn't see. "S'alright Luke...we know what happened...had a state policeman round here fillin' us in...me an' Daisy was gonna come over to the hospital in a few minutes..."

Bo sighed and put the change back, folding his arms as he watched Luke on the phone. After a few rings, the phone was picked up. "Duke Farm, Jesse Duke speakin'..."
