Candy melted into his arms once more as Luke hung onto her, relaxing into his embrace and kissing him back just as deeply. Her arms snaked round his well muscled middle and held him tight. Bo watched from the General with a small chuckle to himself...boy did Candy make a difference on Luke, once the most famous for not wanting to show public displays of affection.

Candy swallowed too as he cupped her head in his hands, closing her eyes as he leaned forward and his lips touched hers again, kissing him back softly.

Candy looked up at him, hands still held in his. "I....I don't like being without you either..."

Candy swallowed, gripping Luke's hand back. "I love you too...but...but...you don't trust me...how are you gonna be able to trust me...we can't have a relationship without that...it'll never work..."

Candy looked to him, swallowing hard and sniffing as tears continued to fall. "Your heart what..."

Candy looked away again, shaking her head. "Then why did ya even come after me...you ain't ever gonna trust me again anyway!"

Candy sobbed softly, sniffing. "Of course I love ya...I tried to tell ya...i'm gettin' a divorce to stay here in Hazzard with you...I don't wanna leave ya again..."

Candy looked to him, tears tracing down her cheeks again. "Prove you wrong about what?"

Candy sighed, not looking to him, sniffing again. "Why...you said all you wanted to at the hospital...you got your opinions on me now...what's the point in talkin'..."

Candy looked to him briefly, scared out of her wits at what Luke had just done before pulling over gently, seeing Bo pulling up behind her.

Bo's heart skipped a beat as he saw Luke slip, shaking his head. "Luke!" He quickly sped forwards and pulled up next to Candy's car for Luke to hold on to.

Bo nodded in reassurance that he would stick with Candy and also him, keeping the General steady as Luke got ready to make the transfer.

Bo swallowed, watching as Luke slid out the window...he always hated it when Luke did this...

Bo nodded and headed to do that, powering the General forwards and practically getting his front bumper touching her back one. "Alright there ya are but ya ain't got long before she reaches the county line...you be careful ya hear?!"

Candy swallowed and looked down at the Cb, hearing Luke's voice but not picking up the CB. She didn't want to hear anymore about how much Luke hated her.

Candy was driving down the road, heading out of Hazzard. Her eyes were bright red and bloodshot and tears were still streaking down her cheeks as she drove down the roads, her bags in the back of the car. It wasn't long before Bo found her, swallowing. "Luke I ain't gonna be able to get in front of her to stop her...she's too near to crossin' the line..."

Bo got into the driver's side again and sped down the road.

"Then would you please get your butt in the car, stop changing moods so quick you could be pregnant and get to it..." He said as he headed back to the General.

Bo looked up to the heavens, praying to them to give him strength before looking back to Luke. "Well then you best make up your mind what you wanna do..."

Bo sighed and stopped, putting his hands on his hips before turning around. "What do you want me to do Luke..."

Bo sighed and shook his head, sliding out the General. "Fine...you can't make up your mind...I ain't sittin' around when there are other people who need my help too...you decide what you wanna do and then go for it...i'm goin' back to the hospital.." With that, he started walking back down the road.

Bo sat back and drummed his fingers against the side of the door, starting to get a little more than irritated at Luke's changing attitude.

Bo sighed and stopped the General. "Okay then so why are we bothering chasing her..."

Bo shrugged a little, glancing into the side mirrors a little as he always did when he was driving. Years of Rosco popping up secretly behind them had made him take on that habit. "I just want you to be happy Luke...that's all.."
