When Bo didn't get a reply, he assumed that what he had heard was his imagination running away with him. After all he knew how Luke would be feeling and so probably could imagine what he was saying. When he opened his eyes again, the doctors where wheeling him out the room and down to a hospital room to await the results of the x-rays.

Bo only caught himself just in time to stop himself from frowning and being yelled at for not keeping still. He thought he had heard Luke...but that was impossible...Luke was a whole room and an x-rya machine away from him...still he had heard the frightened whisper and whispered back in his head. "Don't be...ain't nothin' gonna happen...it'll be over before ya know it..."

Bo closed his eyes as the machine above him started up and laid perfectly still, trying to reach out to Luke anyway he could. He didn't know if trying to speak to him in his mind would work, after all that only ever worked in sci-fi movies and between twins sometimes. He and Luke definitly were not twins. Still, he could always try, "Luke...its alright...just stay calm, everythin's alright cousin.."

Bo laid still as they took x-rays of his shoulder, knowing somewhere in a room not too far away Luke was probably still protesting that he didn't need it and wanted to go home. He also, Bo knew, could be panicking. Luke wasn't particularly good with enclosed spaces when he was alone...a phobia left over from his POW time in Vietnam.

Amos nodded , helping Jesse get Luke in the truck before taking off himself. Bo was sat next to Luke, tapping on the door rhythmically.

Amos shook his head. "As far as I can tell everything is fine...I do reccomend that Bo get an x-ray done on his shoulder just to be sure though...there is one heck of a bruise going to be there for definite..." Bo sighe and nodded.

Amos nodded and watched as for once, Bo was being the bigger person...but he didn't miss the smug look on Bo's face...either he knew nothing was wrong or he knew something that no one else did. He looked over Bo's shoulder carefully. "Does it hurt anywhere Bo?" Bo shook his head, moving his shoulder as the doctor moved it around. "No not really...Luke just got my pressure point is all..that hurt...but now its ok..." Amos nodded, continuing to check Bo's shoulder.

Bo frowned "Luke c'mon its not like your stayin' there...your just gonna go, have an x-ray, get a cast done and come back out with a pair o'crutches...even I can handle that..."

Amos watched and listened to Luke's reactions and nodded with sigh. "Yup...that's definitly broken. Your going to have to take a trip to the hospital Luke and get that casted up...."

Amos sighed and nodded, giving Bo a glance seeing him about to protest that he didn't need to be checked out, warning him to just be quiet which Bo wisely took as good advice and kept his mouth shut. "Alright then Luke let's take a look at this...Bo could you move the ice..." Bo nodded and did so, letting the doctor start checking Luke over.

Bo looked up as the Doc came in, still holding the ice on both him and Luke, smiling a little. "Hey Doc....Maudine took a dislikin' to Luke and stomped on his foot..." Amos nodded with a chuckle. "Okay...and what happened to you..." Bo grinned "Luke took a disliking to me and crushed my shoulder..."

Bo looked over to Luke and scowled "You hush..."

Bo looked up indignantly, holding the ice to the shoulder Luke had crushed, keeping the ice on Luke's foot with his other hand. "Me?! I ain't done nothin'!"

Bo was facing away from Luke and so was able to grimace as Luke squeezed his shoulder and his pressure point. He looked up at Jesse. "Uncle Jesse...you recon you could get me some ice too..."

Bo swallowed, knowing Jesse was eceptionally cranky because he had been woken from his nap. He knelt carefully down next to Luke and pressed the ice filled towel to the swelling foot as gently as he could.

Bo jumped and hit his head on the top of the freezer as Jesse called to him, pulling his head out along with several handfuls of ice, dumping it in the towel on the table and wrapping it up. "Maudine stood on Luke's foot an' now it's swellin' up to the size of a basketball..."

Bo hurried to the freezer, wondering where his uncle was, as he went to get some ice for Luke's foot.

Bo eventually got him inside and called out for his Uncle as he lowered Luke onto the couch.

Bo smirked "Well at least now you know what it feels like..." He said as he started to help Luke indoors.

"Well tough Luke we gotta get it seen to! A bruise could mean internal bleeding as well as possible broken bones, especially if Maudine's trod on it!" Bo exclaimed.

Bo's eyes widened a little and he shook his head, starting to help Luke up onto one foot. "Come on, in...we'll call Doc..."

Bo swallowed and knelt down next to him, helping him to gently ease off his boot.

Bo heard the curse and looked to him, jogging over. "Luke, you ok?"

Bo smiled back, looking into her eyes and holding her hands across the table. "Me too..." Terry smiled and nodded, standing up. "I'd love that....how 'bout I show ya a real nice stream that runs through my daddy's property...its so beautiful...ain't nothin' compared to you but...you'll make it look even prettier..."
