"I haven't been drinkin' an' you can wipe that look of yer face! I was sittin' with Splinter when you an' Lorraine were in the barn an' I heard her mutter thing's that you couldn't hear...that she didn't want you to hear...she snuck out with Trigger and I followed her to the hotel where she met up with Frank and Jessie James....they're planning to rob that bank Hank!"

"Because I near got kidnapped by your new girlfriend and the James brothers that's why!" Joe near yelled, swallowing a little.

Bo put one hand on one of his hips, pointing at Luke with a slight scowl. "Your pushin' it too far now Lukas..."

Jaime mock pouted before saying in a fake whiny voice. "Do I have to..." Bo chuckled a little.

Joe stood up properly. "Would you wake up properly and talk to me..."

Bo shrugged with a grin and put a hand on Jaime's shoulder. "Right young lady, I think its about time you got home and to your homework ain't it?" Jaime sighed and nodded. "I suppose..."

Joe swallowed and pulled the pillow away. "No it ain't Get up!"

Bo chuckled. "Are you sure? I know you wanna stay here longer, food poisonin' is always a good excuse..."

Joe soon arrived back at the farm, shaking a fraction as he put Dixie's horse away and ran back into the house, going to his and Hank's room and shaking him awake. "Hank...Hank wake up..."

Bo nodded and placed the bag on the table by Luke's bed. "No problem...know from too much experience what hospital food is like...and no matter what cute doctor may be looking after ya, eatin' it never gets any nicer..."

Bo smiled and headed over to him. "Thought you might want some edible food..."

Bo chuckled as Jaime looked indignant and said right back at Bo but directed at his father. "And for once he's not talking about me...he's talkin' about the female doctor he's crushin' on..." Bo laughed and shook his head, "You know maybe I should come back later when I won't walk into a father/daughter battle zone..."

At that point, Bo walked into the room again with a smile and holding a brown paper bag. "Hey there, your awake again then?"

Jaime grinned "Cause that would make it too easy for ya..."

Jaime shook her head with a grin. "Nah he wouldn't...he'd gimme a lecture cause he don't like hittin' girls..."

Jaime rubbed her nose, with a frown before giggling harder as he spoke. "You gotta get it outta traction first..."

Joe bolted through the trees, heart thumping hard against his chest as he hears the horses hooves fall away. Instantly he headed for home, knowing Lorraine couldn't get at him there otherwise she would reveal herself to Hank.

Jaime gave a cheeky grin that accompanied a shrug, giggling a little.

Joe sighed and nodded, leaning forward and subtly grabbing the the rope that was lassoed around Dixie's horse's neck before kicking the horse in the side, making it rear up. He smiled as he heard the gunshot fired in surprise, making Dixie's horse kick out with its back legs and the people beside him scatter in terror. He threw the rope off the horse's neck and kicked her forwards, bolting off into the dark shadows of the trees.

Jaime laughed, raising her eyebrows. "With that doctor lookin' after ya? Don't be dumb..."

Joe sighed as Diie's horse was lasso'd, letting go of the reins but not getting off the horse, just waiting where he was.

Jaime eventually looked back to him, sinking down onto the side of the bed again. "How much longer do I got before I have to go home?"

Joe glanced behind him as he heard the familiar sound of thundering hooves behind him, swallowing a little. Had he been on Splinter, he could get away easily...but as it was Dixie's horse was not as fast as Splinter and nor could Joe push her to work as hard....but he had to do something.

Jaime sighed and stood up, stretching gently. "And they say women give out mixed signals..."

Joe hurried to Dixie's horse, untying her and getting on, turning her round sharply and kicking her quietly into action as he galloped out of town.
