Jaime smiled and nodded "It's fine with me! I...I always wanted a sibiling..."

Jaime swallowed hard, blinking a little. "Wh...you mean....you..."

"But at least he'll be with family! He's a Duke Daddy! You said that all Dukes stick together no matter what!" Jaime exclaimed, tears springing in her eyes again.

Jaime shook her head, her jaw set. "I won't let him be sent to an orphanage when he's got a family that he should be with right here! Its not fair that everyone else has abandoned him and now Bo's doing it too!" She exclaimed, deliberatly leaving out the respectful 'Uncle' title. "Everyone else has abandoned him, I won't let him be abandoned...I know Aunt Daisy will take him in, she wants a child anyway!"

Jaime had to think quickly, and blurted out. "My Aunt Daisy! Please, don't put him in an orphange yet...please..stall them....my Aunt Daisy'll provide for him I know it...please..."

"Oh please...please...he can't go live with strangers...please can't you just overlook it once.." Jaime begged, knowing all the while it was useless but she had to at least feel like she tried.

"I...I'm 16 in a week..." Jaime swallowed hard...she was Troy's only hope...they had to let her do this...although realisitically she knew it couldn't happen...but she couldn't not try....

Jaime swallowed, nodding a little. "I know...i'm...his niece...but he doesn't want Troy...he's already told Troy's doctor that...and...I want to adopt him instead..."

Jaime swallowed softly and coughed a little, putting on as best an adult voice as she could muster. "Hello, my name is Jaime Duke...I'm interested in a little boy that I understand needs a home...Troy?"

Jaime stopped just outside of her room, swallowing a little as she looked to the phone, still unable to believe Bo had done what he had. That was just a little boy of about 7 that Bo was blowing off as if he was nothing...after everything the little boy had been through...Bo still refused to acknowledge him...even after the proof that the little boy was his son... Slowly, the tears stopped and she stepped towards the phone, biting her lip as she picked it up and started to dial in the number of the hospital....

Bo swung back round and faced her, yelling right back. "I am not your Daddy! I never will be as good as Luke or Uncle Jesse alright! In fact, i'm plumb scared to death of taking on what they have over the years! I have never pretended to be as good as them, but lord knows I've tried! I can't handle this right now, so just keep your nose out of it!" With that, he swung his legs into the General and powered away from the farm, speeding towards the town to start the court case against the hospital.

Bo yelled at her, right up close to her. "You don't understand me Jaime, don't even try and pretend you do. Now get lost and find something useful to do other than stand around and try and make everyone see to your way of thinking!" He knew he was being unreasonable somewhere in his head....somewhere deep down he felt really guilty for what he had just said and what he was doing to Troy...but also at that moment in time, Bo Duke was completly and utterly lost and he didn't have a clue what to do about anything. So his answer to problems was to just push them away and carry on with his intended course of action. He side-stepped Jaime, still in a fury and strode more towards the General, wrenching the keys out his pocket.

It was BB Davenport wasn't it? Because at the start Bo and Luke are racing BB and they buy a beer at the boars nest with the fake money Granny Annie gave them.

Bo glared at her, in no mood to deal with kids at all today...not after everything that had happened. "Don't you poke your nose in too young lady. Go and do your homework or do chores or something and let me deal with my buisness."

"Oh so now your asking?! Now your asking me to do something, well you've changed your tune haven't you! I don't want him, you understand me! I don't want him here, I don't want him in my life, I don't even want to know he exists! Get off my back, leave me the hell alone, and i'll see you in court." With that Bo threw down the reciever and stormed back outside, heading for the General Lee.

"I don't care if it woulda saved the whole world! You did it without my consent and that is illegal! I don't want anything to do with that kid, I don't ever want to hear from you about him again after this law suit which believe me I am going to take forward!" Bo yelled angrily down the phone.

It was then that Bo's ice cold voice came over the line again. "I didn't give you any permission to take my DNA and have it tested against Troy's...and I know you did it so don't even try and pretend you didn't. You did that without my consent and that is against your policy so I am taking this down to my lawyers and I am going to sue."

Bo smirked and put on a false sweet voice. "Oh yes this is Bo Duke...I just thought I'd call and let you know that i'm going to sue you..."

Bo drummed his fingers on the wall impatiently as he waited for the doctor to get there.

"Put Troy's doctor on the phone now..." He demanded in an ice cold tone.

Hey there Man that must be rough and I can see that you obviously have a huge conflict to get over...but that says more to me than anything else about how your feeling. You obviously - if you feel so conflicted over what you should be feeling - loved your mum deep down because she was your mum and she did take care of you for 16 years. I can see where you wouldn't want to grieve for her but at the end of the day, it is only gonna make things harder when people want to talk about her and you've resolved not to let anything get to you. Its a shame you didnt get on together, but now is the time to make amends even if she isnt here anymore. Make peace with yourself and her, not every relationship is like what you see on tv. Me and my mum fight like cat and dog, we're nothing like what you see on tv. TV is fantasy, its what everyone wants their parents to be like but unfortunatly they just cant be. I think you should grieve, because as Lori said and Roger it will only make matters worse. You have a lot of people on here you can talk to - me included - and people around you or animals too...even a stuffed teddy which is something I do when i'm upset. Take some time, grab some hot chocolate and look through albums. I'll bet there were happy times you had with your mum... *huggles* Take care and i'm here if you want to talk

Bo stormed inside and headed to the phone, picking it up and dialling the hospital's number, determined to sort this out once and for all so he could move on.

Bo clenched his jaw and shook his head, finding enough energy to get to his feet with a strong and determined 'No', heading inside.

Bo eventually just sank out of Luke's arms and down onto the steps of the poarch, staring straight ahead of him as a million thoughts kept racing through his head, each one making him feel worse than the last one. He didn't want to be a father, at least not right now, and he certainly didn't want to have to look after one on his own. But then again, he wasn't ready to settle down yet, there was still so much that he wanted to do. It was getting to the point now that Bo needed to be angry at someone, and at that moment, the only one he could be angry with was Troy. It was his fault for coming into his life, his fault for meeting Luke in the first place, his fault for even being born. He didn't want the kid, and he wasn't going to take him in as his own. For once, Bo Duke was going to be selfish and for a change, not let his big heart get in the way.
