Bo nodded glancing up at the sky and part scrambled to his feet. He had never ever liked storms and nothing had changed over the years about those feelings.

Bo sighed and leaned his head back as he listened to his Uncle, exhaling softly as he finished and snapping his head back upright. "What do I want?! I want Luke to understand how the heck I feel! He's dating the woman who helped get me shot and now he was sitting in jail willing to let the guy who shot me in the first place walk free so that he could get Cassie out of jail!" Bo shook his head, pushing off the support post and crossing the barn as he kicked a bucket. "The reason Luke doesn't know how to make things right is because he's so infatuated with that hussy that he can't see what she's doing! She's got him completly wrapped and trapped under her thumb! As soon as she snaps her fingers, he's there on his knees like a dog ust begging for her attention! If me an' her were shot in the same street, he'd go t'her and that is why I ain't ready t'forgive him till he can see all this. And before you ask, I can't tell him! He won't listen at all. He'd just try and convince me what a great person Cassie is..." Everytime Bo said Cassie's name, he near spat the word out his mouth, putting a mocking tone on at the last 6 words.

Bo nodded lightly, noticing how dark it had gotten. "We better get inside...its gettin' cold.."

*End Flashback* Bo sighed gently, running a hand though his hair "Not the best time of my life...or yours..."

Jesse nodded, not about to admit that he was too, knowing his oldest was relying on him for support not for more worry to be added. "I know ya are...but you keep a level head about ya, remember all yer trained...and remember that you got a family back home that loves ya an' is waiting for ya an' you'll be home fore ya know it..."

Bo nodded, leaning against one of the support posts in the barn "Yeah i'm fine...I busted Luke out of jail...he's at SS4." The youngest said casually with no hint of the old excitement or interest that he used to have when he and Luke used to bust out of Jail together. He actually looked thoroughly disinterested and like he wanted nothing more than to get out of Hazzard again and continue doing his job.

Yeah I know, but what I was saying was to do them both it'd have to be told from Uncle Jesse's point of view and we're not doing him yet. We might do the births later.

Right...awsome idea but at the moment, we're just doing Bo and Luke's flashbacks...so Luke might remember when Bo was born but Bo wouldn't...we may bring Uncle Jesse and Daisy into it later in which case we could use this

Jesse sighed "Luke you can keep sayin' that as much as you want but it ain't gonna make it true. Bo will forgive you...he'll support you...he'll always be worried, he'll always be upset you had to leave...but he'll forgive you..."

"Well...you gotta go now...there's no going back..." Jesse said softly.

Jesse nodded gently. "I know...I know...but your never going to be alone...not only are you gonna have your buddies with you, who you'll learn to look out for and they'll look out for you...but we'll be there with ya all the way...in yer heart...writing letters...and so will the good lord...he'll be watchin' over ya for us..."

"Goin' off to a war zone?" Jesse finished for him as he squeezed the boys shoulders.

"About what son?" Jesse asked gently, unable to think himself how Luke was going to be able to cope with what he was going to go through.

*sits up straighter in his chair* Alright barrage of questions comin' outta no where here...uh...alright first of to Roger...if orange cars became illegal what colour would we paint the General...see now I recon me an' Luke would have a fight about it first...then initially we'd go down t'Cooter's an' see what colours he has in his garage which is how it happened when we first got the Good ol' General. But if I had t'choose...I'd probably paint him...either black or racin' green. Ok...BL's questions... When those girls took me hostage...you mean when they tied me to the back of the jeep...boy that was ages ago...uh...well first off I didn't think it'd be too bad. I thought they'd keep me where they were an' I'd be able to smooth talk my way out with at least one of em...but...when they actually tied me t'the jeep my first thought was I wish Luke'd hurry up an' get here t'get me outta this....then my second thought when he arrived was, I gotta get outta here 'fore we go over the edge o'that cliff...which I did of course. That dang alligator...I still got a scar on my chest from where I cut it jumpin' on that thing...anyways the whole tyin' up thing in the end...they didn't catch me. I wanted t'go on a date with them an' they wanted t'go on a date with me. But as ya probably saw their daddy's kinda strict. So he said that we could all go fishin'...but only if I was tied up an' I stayed tied up for the duration of the trip. So actually nothin' happened on' that date cept they fished an' we talked....least fun date in the whole wide world...needless to say I didn't go back there in a hurry... Bo sighed as he looked out the hatch of the barn loft up at the sunset sky, the stars just starting to appear in the dark left behind in the reddish glow...matching how Bo was feeling. Everything he cared about most was slipping away, everything good in life was fading..leaving him behind in total darkness not knowing which possible way to turn next.

"That was gonna happen Luke...its what always happens when someone you love leaves...its hard to accept at first..." Jesse reasoned softly.

"Don't you stop thinking it...he ain't gonna...he doesn't now...the reason its hurting him so much is because your his hero...he's probably more scared than anything...he's losing his role-model...the one he trusts to guide him through school and relationships and everything like that..."

"He'll never forget you Luke...your as influential to him as I am...your his hero son.." Jesse said just as softly back.

Bo soon sped into the Duke farmyard, slamming on the brakes and bringing the car to a screeching halt. He couldn't remember a time that he had been pleased to get away from his cousin...except when the Carnival had rolled into town of course. Shaking his head, Bo went to the barn where he heard Jesse whistling. "Uncle Jesse..."

Jesse rested his chin on top of Luke's head gently, rocking the boy from side to side slowly and soothingly. "Work through this the best way we can son...together...all the way through everything..."
