Dusty Rose Duke

"Ok people. Hurry up and let's finish decortating. Know how fast Luke drives, they'll be hear before we know it." Dusty said with a smile. Rosco and Dusty had tredge the kids over to farm to decorate it for Luke and Kathy's home coming from California.

Dusty just continued to sob.

Dusty had gone to see Doc Appleby becuase shed had not being feelin well. She thought it was the flu. But what Doc Appleby had told her, sent Dusty into shock. She was pregnant again. Dusty wondered how Rosco, the kids and her family would take the news.

Dusty wiped her tears away and opened her arms for her grand babies. "Well let me have a look at ya'll." Dusty said as she looked at them. "Well you all have growin into Handsome and beautiful kids. Hows school goin Bo." Dusty asked her grandson.

Dusty walked over to Rosco and tapped him on the shoulder. "What'cha doin Rosco?" Dusty asked with a grin. Dusty was the only cop in her family. She was a CSI/Detective. She worked in New York at the crime lab there with her best friend from the Marines. Detective Mac Taylor. They were also dating. Mac and Dusty were quite serious. This was here first vacation she had since she worked in New York.

"Reba never forget one thing: Emma loved you with her heart." Dusty said as she her step-granddaughter/niece a big hug.

"Oh Rosco I'm so happy for Luke. But at the same time i feel a little jealous. He gets to meet and see Aunt Rose but my parents are still dead." Dusty said as she continued to look out the window.

Dusty wrapped her arms around Luke and cried in his chest. "Luke why did J.R have to come here? I want my baby back." Dusty said through her sobbs.

Dusty nodded and followed Kathy and Emma.

Dusty turned and watched her eldest son hold his little brother. She couldn't help but smile.

"You're welcome Kath." Dusty said as she gave Kathy a hug.

"Please." Dusty said with sorrow in her voice. Her expression was still unreadable but a lone tear fell from her eyes.

"I can help. Don't worry suga we'll the party ready in time for Jesse's birthday. And Jude can help as well." Dusty said with a smile.

"Baby just think Luke and Judd get to meet their mother." Rosco said. Dusty looked out the window and sighed. Rosco knew how hard it was Dusty to get over her parents death. Rosco just held her tight.

Dusty shook her head. "Luke you can't know that. Maybe you guys should think about that restraining order. I wish I had." Dusty said with an unreadable expression as she watched the road.

Dusty nodded her head. And then smirked. "Cooter, what do you say if we go down to Hazzard Pond? Just you and me? Call it a way to cool off." Dusty asked with a grin

"Cooter would talking to Bo again, will it change his mind?" Dusty said as she looked at Cooter.

Dusty smiled as looked at Cooter's farm. They had some crazy times at this place.

"And the way to do that is find a good man," Dusty said with a smirk as she held Cooter close.

Dusty watched Jesse. "Jesse whle your Daddy's hung up for a while, you have to man of the house ok." Dusty told her nephew.

Dusty smiled at the thought of Jesse using his Duke Charm on the girls. He was probably just like Luke.

"A friend of mine in the Marines used to help me when Luke did this same trick. He took me out for beers one night and we got to talkin. He called it 'The Law of Attraction'. He said it was hard to shake." Dusty said with a sigh.

"Baby, J.R has something else up hs sleeve. He's done yet." Dusty said as she watched J.R and Bobby leave.

"Emma like Uncle Jesse says we need to have faith. Bo, Luke and Rosco will bring Little Reba home." Dusty said with a smile.

"Ya I know. I could knok some sence into Luke, but then Luke couldn't knok any sence into Bo when Diane and her Carnivile of Thrills was here, and Bo had to do that stupid stunt." Dusty said with a sigh.
