Dusty Rose Duke

Dusty looked at Rosco for a moment. She grabbed a chair and then pulled Luke towards it. "Luke sit and don't move, or I'll kick your ass so hard you wish Uncle Jesse was doin it." Dusty said through clutched teeth. She turned to Rosco and stared at him then took a step closer to him and put her hands on her hips. "Rosco I warn you right now and right here, if this is one of Boss's schemes to get rid of Luke, I will never speak to you again. If you are part one of Boss's hair scheme's, Our friendship is over. You won't see me anymore because I'll be leaving Hazzard. So decide now Rosco." Dusty said with an icy fire to her blue eyes.

"Emma I never doubted for one minute that you weren't a Coltrane. You looked so much like Rosco, but I didn't say a word. I'd thought you would talk to him before you left Hazzard. But I do know three siblings who would like to meet their older sister." Dusty said with a grin.

Dusty grunted again as she held Luke back. "Rosco you know those faulse charges any way. You had no evidence to hold Cassie in the first place. You had no proof." Dusty said with a smirk. "So Luke didn't break his probation. But he will if I let him go. So please Rosco, for once in your misserable life, just take the cuff of Cassie." Dusty said.

Dusty looked at her uncle and Thelma talking. SHe grinned. "Mac I do believe that Uncle Jesse as takin an intrust to Thelma." Dusty said with a grin. "I do believe you're right Dusty." Mac said as he nussled her neck. "Why don't you say we go over there an introduce you." Dusty said as she grabbed Mac's hand and the rest of his gear and walked across the street. They stopped at her car, placed Mac's gear in the back seat. Then they walked together towards Rosco and Uncle Jesse. Dusty grinned at her Uncle. "Howdy. I'm Dusty Rose Duke, this here is my boyfriend/boss from New York, Mac Taylor." Dusty said. Mac waved and grinned at Uncle Jesse. "Hi Uncle Jesse." Mac said with a grin.

Dusty and Luke pulled into the drive way of the Old Morgan farm, after Rosco. Dusty climbed out of Ridge Runner and ran into the house. Both Luke and Dusty skided to halt as they saw Rosco hand cuff Cassie. Dusty looked and saw the dangerous glint in Luke's eye. She put all her strength into keeping Luke from attacking Rosco. "Rosco if I were you, I would take those cuffs off Cassie right now. Because if you don't, I don't know how much longer I can hold Luke back from going after you." Dusty said with a grunt in her voice as she held Luke back.

Mac and Dusty broke away from their kiss when Mac looks at Rosco. He shook his head and with a smirk he gently nuged Dusty and pointed across the street. "Is he always that way?" Mac said with amusement in his voice. Dusty looked where was pointing and snorted. She had to admit she found it really cute. Dusty rolled her eyes. "I find it sweet. This is his first chance to be happy, so don't go makin fun. I swear you're as bad as Luke." Dusty said with a grin and Mac grinned back. He hugged her tighter to him.

"Apparently, Reba honey, there's no stopping J.R." Dusty said through clutched teeth.

Dusty came out of the house and rushed down the steps towards her best friend. "Emma! Girl aren't you a sight for sore eyes." Dusty said with a huge smile as she gave Emma a big hug.

"Oh Luke I'm about the only one who understands," Dusty was going to say something else when she heard the cb. Dusty let out a gasp. She wiped her tears away. Dusty took Unlce Jesse's keys from Luke's pocket and tossed them to Daisy. "Daisy, the trucks yours until I bring Luke back." Dusty said as she grabbed Luke's hand and together they ran out to Ridge Runner. Luke got into passenger seat and Dusty drove. She sped Luke to the Old Morgan farm. Dusty got on the cb and shot Luke a look. "Breaker one, breaker one, I maybe red but I'm sure ain't dumb, Little Red Riding Hood comin at ya, Enos you got you ears on com'on?" Dusty said as she took every short cut that she knew to speed up the time it would take to get to the Morgan farm.

"Reba can you look after your cousin for me and you grandpa?" Dusty asked her step-granddaughter/niece.

Dusty nodded her head and took off her jean jacket and set it on the bar. She back to Luke, drew back her right fist and punch Luke right in the face. Which sent Luke off his stool. Dusty jumped on to Luke's stomach and grabbed him by the laples of his shirt and gave him a hard shake. "You listen to me Luke Duke. I stood up for you with Bo, Daisy, and Uncle Jesse. You don't believe me ask Enos and Cooter because they were there. I was sick of the way they were treating you. I stood by you. But you know what, if you want to be that way, sick up for yourself for now on." Dusty said as she got off of Luke and began to wipe the tears that fell down her cheeks.

Dusty had a troubled look on her face.

Dusty had been sitting on the hood of the Ridge Runner at Cooter's, getting some sun, when a Atlanta taxie pulled up in front of the Police station. Dusty sat up straighter when a dark brown hared man got out of the car. He got his gear out of the truck and paid the driver. "Hey Dusty, whose that feller?" Cooter asked as he stood beside her. "It can't be." Dusty said when the man turned around. When Dusty saw his blue eyes, she who it was instanly. "MAC!" Dusty screamed as she shot off the hood of her car and ran across the street to Mac's smiling face and open arms. "Dusty!" Mac said as he braced himself for the red who launched herself into his arms. He held her against his chest and spun her around. Mac placed his face in her hair and smelled it. "Oh Mac I missed you." Dusty said as she slowly slid down Mac's broad chest and had her feet on the ground. Mac ran his fingers through her red, silky hair. God he didn't know how much he missed her until she wasn't in the lab 24/7. She was what gave him a smile every morning. It was killing him not seeing her, so he hopped the first flight to Hazzard County. "God, I missed you too baby!" Mac said as he passionatly kissed her.

"Reba you are not going to loose the baby on a count of J.R Ewing. I will make dame sure of that." Dusty said with a stony expression.

Dusty looked at Bo. "Bo, you tell Jude and Walker that I'm comin with ya. J.R is not wrecking my job with Mac Taylor." Dusty said through clutched teeth.

Rosco was jumping for joy and spinning Dusty around and then passed her off for Kathy to hug her. Dusty looked up and saw Reba. "Reba, what's wrong sweety?" Dusty asked concerned.

Dusty shook her head. "Nope. Knowing Billy Bob, he would want Reba alive and J.R would agree. There would be not profit if they kill her, and Miss Elly would never allow it." Dusty said as she sat on the hood of Ridge Runner.

Dusty looked at the picture of Iola and smile. Then sighed at what Rosco said. "Ross, I thought we got past this and decided to be friends. I never said anything about you being not happy. If Iola makes you happy, then I'm happy for you man." Dusty said with a grin. She was glad that Rosco was starting to date again. Mac and her were a like. You would never forget your first love. Rosco and Dusty were first loves and they would have that connection same as Mac and Claire. Dusty handed the picture back to Rosco. "She looks very sweet." Dusty said as her grin got huge. She playfully brushed her shoulder against his. "So you two are going to set up Uncle Jesse with a blind date with Iola's neighbour. Now I find that cute. I'm not just not sure how Uncle Jesse will take it though?" Dusty said as she rubbed her fingers through her hair.

Dusty held Rosco close. "It's ok baby. Don't worry. She will shocked at first but then she will understand." Dusty said as her cell phone rang. "Excuse me for a moment." Dusty said as she stepped to the side. "Coltrane." Dusty said. "Dusty it's Mac." Mac Taylor said. "Oh My God! Mac Taylor! Long time no here from." Dusty said with a grin. "Yea I know! Listen, I thought you should know that a J.R Ewing tried to get in touch with my office. Apparently he's balming you. Just thought you should have a heads up." Mac said. "Thanks Mac. Talk soon." Dusty said as she hung up. She turned back to her family. "Guys we have a problem. One of my old Marine buddies, Mac Taylor, just told me that J.R Ewing was in contact with his office and of course he's balming me." Dusty said in a huff. "Bo, call Jude and Walker and fill them in." Dusty said with a look at Bo.

Dusty drove to the Boar's Nest and found Luke sitting at the bar talking to Enos. She was mule headed woman. Out of all the Dukes, Dusty put the S in Stubborn. She just didn't know when to quit. Dusty stomped over to bart and yanked the the beer from Luke's hand. "Ok Luke. You really need help. I love you, but tough love starts now. You do realise that this family is being ripped apart at the seems? Don't you?" Dusty said with her hands on her hips and a death glare that would send chills down your spine. Enos knew what that meant. He seen Dusty like this once before and it wasn't pretty.

'Well I have surprize for ya'll as well. It turns out I'm pregnat too." Dusty said with a grin as Kathy walked through the door.

"Well first things first. New York's great, Mac and me couldn't be better. I miss him." Dusty said with a little sadness in her voice. "Now what's this about you coresponding with a girl, and she's thrying set up my Uncle Jesse with her neighbor?" Dusty asked confused.

Dusty pulled Ridge Runner in front of Bo and came to a screeching halt in front of him. "Beaueguard Andrew Duke! Don't even think about leavin Hazzard with put sayin good bye to me." Dusty said as she climb out of Ridge Runner and walked up to Bo. Then she pulled him into a long hug. "Bo always remember, that I love you and I'm proud of you ok." Dusty said as she whispered in Bo's ear.

"Cooter I want to see Bo before he leave's, and I'll be the one to tell Uncle Jesse, Daisy and Luke abourt where Bo went. Then I'm going to let Luke have boht barrels. I maybe even give him a left and a right to." Dusty said.

"Ok Kathy. But you tell Luke to be careful." Dusty said with a chuckle.
