  4. New to The Forums not new to the Dukes. I have Been a Dukes of Hazzard Fan since i was a Child. 5. Bo and Luke Duke discover Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane is bringing illegal slot machines into the county for Boss Hogg and scheme to spoil their plans.
  6. The Merv Griffin Show - 1979 https://www.facebook.com/DukesOfHazzardVideos/posts/1540095922899243 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Merv Griffin Show - 1980 https://www.facebook.com/DukesOfHazzardVideos/posts/1540213262887509 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- I Have Tons Of Rare Videos Coming , So Check Out : https://www.facebook.com/DukesOfHazzardVideos
  7. Hey y'all, I just got season 5 as a present from my sister.I'm just wondering what to expect.I know that most people don't like season 5 because Bo and Luke aren't in it,but the stunts are meant to be really good. I'm just wondering what y'all think of season 5 and why
  8. 16 Magazine / July 1980 Back In The Day The Teen Magazines Were All Dukes Of Hazzard & KISS ! https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=544824408957943&set=a.330136690426717.77641.100002911651182&type=1&stream_ref=10
  9. Ben's already announced he's gonna do it again. Yes, Virginia, there IS a 2012 Hazzard Homecoming, August 11 & 12. Same location as last year in Sperryville VA. This will be the biggest annual Dukes of Hazzard fan gathering of the year. (formerly known as "DukesFest".) This is the fastest we've seen him announce the next year's event, so he must have somethin' cookin'! No other details are yet public. As soon as they are, we'll post more. Any of ya'll coming from a distance might wanna read through our 2011 forum threads about Hazzard Homecoming, in reference to hotels and such. Sperryville is a scenic area, but the town itself is tiny. You'll have to stay at another town for a hotel unless you opt to camp near the event. Ben usually has a hotel booking code that gets you a convention rate. But if you book via Expedia this far out, you might do just as well on cost. Glad to see Ben's throwing another shindig. Hopefully we'll see a lot of the Dukes of Hazzard cast there!
  10. CMT is running a Dukes of Hazzard mini-marathon on June 28th, starting at noon eastern time! Check your local listings to confirm air times.
  11. The original "Killer Shrews" movie of 1959 was...well, so dang bad, it became a cult classic. James Best starred in the original movie, which is reason enough to watch it if you get the chance. Then, you'll be all set for the sequel, due out soon, "Return of the Killer Shrews!" Yes, shrews. Nasty lil' varmints. Eeek. Hey, if they attack by the tens of thousands, it's scary, right? You betcha. I'm normally not one for horror films, but as a lifelong Dukes of Hazzard fan, I can't pass up a movie that has James Best, Rick Hurst, and John Schneider in it. I checked out the official website tonight, and the promo photos look interesting. Have a look: Return of the Killer Shrews Looks like fun, eh? Per IMDB, the movie is in post-production status. Don't know the release date yet, but we'll hollar when we hear of it. Or, one of ya'll will know before we do and post it, which is fine!
  12. Rick Hurst, otherwise known as Deputy Cletus Hogg, will be at Cooter's Place in Gatlinburg on July 01, 2011. He will also be at Hazzard Homecoming in Sperryville VA on Aug 13-14. See our homepage for other Dukes of Hazzard cast appearances.

  14. Believe it or not, we actually finished a project around here! Our FAQ page has been updated with more Dukes of Hazzard facts. The topics were taken from the scores of email questions we've received over the years. We've also thrown in a couple little-known tidbits and included a brief history of DukesFest. This ain't as robust as the tough stuff that runs on the Trivia thread, but it's a good overview of the popular topics. HazzardNet FAQ
  15. Redneck girl 01 is our Fan of the Month for September 2011! Well-deserved and long overdue, we're happy to recognize her for her contributions to HazzardNet and to the Dukes of Hazzard fandom as a whole. Please join us in congratulating her!
  16. HazzardNet's Fan of the Month for August 2011 is CDoherty95! Congrats! There were several good contestants for this month. CDoherty95 was selected due to his perseverance in re-building another "General Lee" bicycle after his original creation was stolen. This shows great dedication to his love of "The Dukes of Hazzard" as well as strong personal character in not giving up. CDoherty95 is also an active participant in our Forums and has generated good discussions. We're pleased to recognize him as the Fan of the Month for his contributions to the Dukes of Hazzard fandom. SAL-UTE!
  17. Here's a combination of a Dukes of Hazzard bed cover, sheet, and sleeping bag. By the photos these look to be in great shape. You could be the envy of your college dorm with these. Also great as couch covers. Though these are in such good shape you might want to avoid the wear and tear and simply hoard them. At the time of this post the auction was running for about 4 more days. Dukes of Hazzard bed set and sleeping bag
  18. The famous Hazzard County Stunt Show, presented by the Northeast Ohio Dukes, will be at the Lake County Fair on August 20th! There are NO cast appearances involved, this is a car stunt show only. But it's a great show, featuring the General Lee and police cars in live, dirt-flying, chase-and-crash action. Here's a link with the where and what: Hazzard County Stunt Show They always pack the place, so get there early for a good seat!
  19. For those paying attention to the home page, y'all know we're listing the Boar's Nests we can find that may relate to the Dukes of Hazzard in some way. I'll keep track of 'em here. I've got a couple more in addition to what's already on the home page. As a bonus, I've found a couple more pics of the aforementioned BN Daisy Duke contest in Allen's Grove. This is the talent portion of the BN Allen's Grove Daisy Duke contest. The competitors must slide in and out of a General Lee and show their style and grace. This guy standing behind the contestant is a safety assitant, to make sure a lady doesn't fall while performing this feat of agility. This gal has the...assets, for the Daisy Duke gig, but she looks to be confused on how to climb in and out of the car. Nobody seems to mind. And next...oh, I should post the actual Boar's Nest list I have so far, before I post more cheesecake photos. Awright: ***The Boar’s Nest - Allen’s Grove, WI - Dukes related **The Boar’s Nest – Center Valley, WI - Dukes related The Boar’s Nest - Mingus, TX The Boar’s Nest - Athens IL The Boar’s Nest – Ham Lake, MN Boar’s Nest BBQ - Fayetteville, AR Now, another pic! Here's a gal that looks a lot like Daisy. And Daisy Duke herself, Catherine Bach, in classic style:
  20. I know MaryAnne has been looking for a pair of these - Daisy Duke Underoos! These are new in package, and crazy tough to find. Daisy Duke Underoos I'm seeing a some good, high-quality Dukes collectibles in ebay at the moment. If you're not in the market for undies, there's a Dukes of Hazzard tv tray that's also in mint condition and factory wrapped. The maddening thing with ebay is there can be total crap on there for weeks, and then if you stop watching it, suddenly there's good stuff again.
  21. One of the most coveted Dukes of Hazzard collectibles out there are the General Lee pedal cars. Pedal cars are popular collectibles in their own right, and when you add a TV show brand to it the price goes way up. Still...I think the price on this one is too steep. I'm not sure what the going rate is for pedal cars though; maybe it's reasonable for the condition. Last time I saw a General Lee pedal car on ebay it was going for $400, but it was in a lot rougher shape. General Lee pedal car
  22. Here's a General Lee paper model that looks fun to put together. The design is in a PDF file. I'm not sure what thickness of card stock paper would be best for it, so if somebody tries this and nails it down, please let us know. If you have patience and a sharp scissors, try some arts n' crafts, Dukes of Hazzard style! The download link appears below the photo: http://www.4shared.com/document/EXlDjJ1X/General_Lee_II_B.html
  23. http://www.hazzardnet.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2967 - Length: 51 posts in 6 pages. Kristy started the idea, LittleRedVicki and bethie88 added their fanfic characters. CanadianCountryCousin participated also. It was fun and challenging. I think those four, made a good story for both canon and created character readers.
