I don't know how to internet shop but my wife takes care of ordering it if I do get anything on there. Rosco's Mama had something to say about internet shopping when she was surprised that Rosco got his girlfriend out of a computer....actually, wasn't really the internet back then but it was a funny line.

Sounds like something Uncle Jesse would say.

    "I'm not your uncle." 🤣

It depends. If I am just looking to watch an episode I wouldn't normally put Coy and Vance in. If I want to watch the whole series in order I have to watch them of course. They really aren't that bad. In fact I like most of them....and the good thing is that the rest of the cast are just as fantastic as ever!

For the first time watching the show, sure, but afterwards it's just optional.

I watched the whole of Married With Children, the early seasons were absolutely fantastic although the later ones were really hard to stomach as it wasn't really that funny, if anything, it just felt unpleasant and rude. As if they had forgotten about comedy.

Think it was Seasons 1-7 (or 8), and afterwards it went downhill.

The Dukes were never that bad, thankfully.

This is awesome! The 01 looks like O1 like the Pre Cooter car in the 2005 movie. :)

I do wish a publisher would make a new Dukes of Hazzard game that would cover the series and with great gameplay, but I fear the devs would be sent death threats because of the flag General Lee has.

Probably the same reason the HD remaster hasn't been released on Blu-ray.. afraid they'll be called "racist" and be canceled.

  4. Amazon has a native HD Remaster which looks beautiful, but unfortunately they cropped it to 16:9 so we're missing the details from the top and bottom.

Plus, it'll cut out the Rebel flag from the General Lee which is part of his character/identity.

For a General Lee without the flag, it's the bootleg car in Burnout Paradise that looks nearly identical to General Lee.

Burnout Paradise honestly feels like the best Dukes of Hazzard game there is as it allows us to do insane jumps with General Lee and I love that! The official DoH games weren't very good, I think. Sadly.

It had a few good parts but I didn't like it. Nothing good can come from replacing Denver with Willie. I could go on about everything else I didn't like about it but that was the biggest one.

True. I just can't put myself to watch that again and I tried a few years ago if I'd like it any better... No.

There's an even crappier Dukes of Hazzard that came out in 2007 or something, let me check...

The Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning

That looks pretty bad, even worse than the 2005 flick, yikes. Willie Nelson was in this one, too. Huh.

Not something I would do either Philip. I'm more like Uncle Jesse. He never dated again despite women flirting with him like Emma Tisdale. I'm John's age.....7 days younger to be exact. Some guys my age just can't be alone long I guess...but some can. It's like they say: It takes all kinds to make a world.

I've yet to get married, but if it were me I'd either take years or just never again.

Schneider made videos with Alicia and one crying how hard it is, just to get remarried months later. Never mind the what the public thinks, Alicia is probably disappointed and saddened he already moved on.

  7. Doesn't John Scheneider owns him? He [John Schneider] teased us with him on the movie "Tres Leches" (they only showed "01").

My favorite TV cars are: General Lee, K.I.T.T., Pontiac Firebird Trans, and the Impala (Supernatural).

This list is an absolute disaster: https://www.scrapcarcomparison.co.uk/blog/the-ultimate-list-of-must-see-car-movies/

Smokey and the Bandit is number 23 while the crappy Dukes of Hazzard movie is 12? It makes no sense.

My older grandson only plays on-line stuff now and giving me his PlayStation and Xbox systems for the younger grandkids to use on weekends here. Should I look for Dukes games? How much would they cost?

The games of Dukes of Hazzard aren't very good, except for the Xbox/PS2 one.

Burnout Paradise featured a car that sort of looked like the General Lee, the game has lots of fun jumps/stunts, but it's not a DoH game if that's what you wanted.

  9. If they were to make a new Dukes of Hazzard movie it'd need to feature John Schneider because he still owns a General Lee and he's a Duke!

But seems unlikely because the Rebel Flag alone could get the movie canceled as it triggers a lot of people (not that I care about them).

From the movie "Tres Leches" (not very good but whatever).

  10. The DVDs sold on Amazon/Walmart are as good as it gets. I mean, the newer sets don't have the Rebel Flag 'cause it's considered offensive, but the picture quality remains the same.

If you want the best, Amazon has it remastered in HD, however it's cropped to 16:9 so you'd be missing out on details from the top and bottom. Because of that, I never got used to that version despite looking amazingly good.

By the way, this is the first time in months I was able to log in to my account. Dunno what was wrong with it.

  11. Both.

Sidenote: Hearing the grandsons of Cash and Jennings blew my mind by how much they sound alike the legends.

But as good as they were, I have no hopes they'll ever be as good as Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings. Plus, Scott Eastwood as good as he looks, he's a mediocre actor, sadly (imo).

This was funnily one of his better roles since he had little to do. lol

Scott Eastwood, Whey Jennings, Gabriel Thomas, etc need to find their own character than live off of the fame and success of their father/grandfathers. It's just not gonna work forever.

  12. Just to add, I watched "The Last Movie Star" yesterday and it felt like a blend of an action star's life in his final years and some fiction for entertainment purposes. Pretty sad story, but touching.

The only thing they could've done to improve TLMS was use Burt Reynolds name than a made up one. It was about Burt Reynolds so even though I'm not a huge fan, I appreciate the existence of this movie/documentary.

    R.I.P., Mr. Reynolds.

  13. This is the movie that had a really crappy cover and title, yet surprisingly I enjoyed it a lot more than the 2005 movie (not hard to beat, admittedly). Even still, it wasn't a good Dukes movie.

Smokey and the Bandit 1 & 2 are the best Dukes movies even while they're from a different franchise.

    R.I.P., Mr. Burt Reynolds.

By the way, John Schneider released a wonderful, true Country song recently than what's usually out there (pop music branded country).
