If you can get a deal on a box set, go for it. I'm guessing that you're in the US, so maybe someone else here can tell you the best place to look. I think another member got a good deal a Walmart recently. I checked their website, and they're doing the complete TV series (7 seasons) for under $50 and the two TV movies for under $10. I don't live in the US, so I don't know if there are better deals and better retailers to use.

So I should go with the individual seasons ?

Mine are fine, but I bought them in the UK/Ireland, so the pressing may be different. I also ripped all of mine to a backup drive just in case. You may as well start with season 1, although it's the shortest wirh only has 13 episodes.

It has been years since I've seen the show and would like to get the dvds, but I'm worried because Dukes Of Hazzard is on the list of dvds affected by Warner Bros. disc rot. Does anyone know if this is true ? Which complete series set should I try for ?
