Garrett Duke
I stopped there after Dukefest last year and really enjoyed it. It was really cool. It has several Duke vehicles parked outside including his tow truck and inside is like a Dukes of Hazzard meuseum where he has DOH toys and collectables showing along with things from the show. Lots of pictures and autographs from the cast.He also has a small store of DOH goods that you can look at and buy. I really enjoyed looking around there and seeing all that he has to show and all that he has to sell. I hope you enjoy it!-Garrett Duke-

BubbaDuke
I will be there myself in about a month(end of March). Plan on having a ball at Cooter's place while my wife is at the big craft fair in Gatlinburg.

Brian Coltrane
Just a handy reference for any of ya'll not familiar with it :http://www.cootersplace.com I haven't visited the store in TN yet, but I went to the one in VA several times, and always had a lot of fun. pendragon1980
Unfortunatly, I won't be able to attend DukesFest because from PA to TN is quite a drive for a weekend shindig. I didn't realize there was a Cooter's in VA until now. That may be more manageable. Is there any sort of annual event at that location?Pendragon
Mrs. Luke Duke
I'm pretty sure the Virginia store closed a couple of years ago. I'd love to have the money to go on a vacation to Tennessee just to go to the Opry and Dukefest.
Brian Coltrane
The store in Sperryville VA did close a couple years back. But TN ain't a bad drive. There's somethin' to be said for a good road trip.
DaneyDuke
Sperryville was a unique place. Pendragon, Nothin' replaces once in a lifetime memories, I do hope you get a chance to get to Bristol sometime. That those who get to go have a safe trip and alot of fun. pendragon1980
7 hours as the Pendragon flies. Ain't bad. I already have one major roadtrip planned for this summer, but I'll think about it. Pendragon
Brian Coltrane
7 hours ain't a bad drive at all. Anything you can get to in under half a day, is no big deal. Maybe we'll see ya there!
pendragon1980
I certainly would like to. The second obsctacle being budget, being a college student. What is it for tickets? Like $25 for the weekend? Plus whatever for food and lodging.Brian, being an old pro at this...Would these sell out if I waited a while until I made my decision?Pendragon
Brian Coltrane
Crowded as these things can get, I've never seen them reach a capacity where they stop selling tickets. It's $25 for tix for the whole weekend, which ain't bad. I usually pack a cooler, and do these trips on a shoestring. Where I blow the money is on autographs n' gifts n' such. I can't seem to go to these things without gettin' stuff for my friends who couldn't make it. Because I'm sucha sweet cuss.

Jamanda
One of my students is going to get his autograph for me next weekend. We thought it was this weekend but that was a different auto show at Bartle Hall. I doubt I'll go myself since I have little interest in cars in general (although I'm tempted since I heard THE General would be there) and I have to do taxes and other errands that day (my only free day). But my student says if I'm nice to him this week he'll get Ben Jones's autograph for me. Oh the things we teachers do for an autograph! But for Ben Jones <sigh>, okay I'll be nice to the kid. T-Man
He is really nice in person. I met him last year at a car show here were i live. He talked to me for a few minutes and when he was done talking to me and signing my things, he went over to my parents who was waiting for me and talked to them for a few minutes. Out of all the cast i have met(bo,rosco, enos, cooter)he was the most friendly. They were all nice but cooter was the best, more down to earth.
