Brotherly Love

Featured Replies

I'm watching one of my DVD's and it has " Brotherly Love"  on it and I'm avoiding it. I think it's goofy and Luke's " Brother" ( it just seems fake....no where was he ever mentioned...kind of like Coy and Vance....!!), is one of those episodes that  I don't like. I Remember, we  had some talk about episodes we don't like or like as much......this is one. This guy is goofy looking, with those sun glasses and that big grin...... all teeth! And right after Luke meets him and finds out about his problem with the hired killers, he's like " C'mon, you can tell me....we're family"....he just met him and he's talking like he knew him forever! I think we have a list somewhere of episodes we don't like, e.g. Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Duke, etc.  This is one for that list !!

The old thread of least favorite episodes can be found here.

There was a back story to why Luke never mentioned his brother (he thought Jud had died in a hospital fire at two weeks old), but it was pretty contrived. Even Luke said "I can't believe it."

The appearance of cousins we'd never heard of before is easier to take. I've got cousins who I haven't seen for about 25 years, so they don't come up in conversation too often!
