February 12, 201610 yr Gaylord Duke drove a Jaguar XK-E (or E-Type Jaguar if you're in Europe). IMCDb have it listed as a 1971 model. I'll let the old Top Gear boys let you know what owners of this marque are like:
February 12, 201610 yr Author Hey everybody...I just looked up the 1971 Jaguar XK-E and it has a top speed of 150 MPH and can go from 0-60, in under 7 seconds. I then looked up the 1969 Dodge Charger and it has a top speed of 150 MPH and can go from 0-60 in 6.0- 7.2 sec......SO....! The scene where the Jag leaves The General standing still is just bull! They're practically identical as far as speed!

February 13, 201610 yr Author Well, I'm not saying it didn't but I don't remember anybody saying anything like that, so I just figured it was a Charger vs. a Jag! ( Which means the General can go as fast as a Jaguar in REAL time!)
February 14, 201610 yr Author Well I always thought it was just a lot faster or could accelerate faster than the General but like I said, as it turns out, the car is no faster than the General, so, for some reason, they pretended it was faster!
