August 25, 201412 yr I noticed in " People's Choice", that when they were waiting for Boss to start his campaign speech, sitting in the alley in the General, the General had no windshield wipers! Better hope it didn't rain! EVER!!...LOL!!
August 25, 201412 yr The wipers come and go on a regular basis throughout the series. In this episode it appears that the Generals they used at the studio, both on the sound stage and in the square, had their wipers removed (possibly to avoid unwanted reflections), while the Generals on location retained their wipers. Just before the General jumps the hay cart, it has wipers from the inside view......but they're missing from the outside view. The jump itself uses at least three different filming locations - see the Hazzard Square thread for more details. You may also notice that rear-view mirrors (and occasionally side mirrors) on many vehicles often change or go missing in close-up shots.
August 25, 201412 yr Its very common for rear view mirrors to be missing on many movies and tv shows.M
August 26, 201412 yr Let's face it - Daisy's Jeep lost its doors and 'Golden Eagle' decals on the hood and we weren't supposed to notice!
August 26, 201412 yr You posted a screencap with subtitles of why Dixie's doors were removed. so we we're supposed to notice it.
August 26, 201412 yr You posted a screencap with subtitles of why Dixie's doors were removed. so we we're supposed to notice it.You're right, but it was only supposed to be a temporary measure. Here's the screengrab from 'Carnival of Thrills' that you mentioned. The full post from my Daisy's Jeep thread in the Fan Art section can be seen here. There was never an explanation of why the Golden Eagle decals disappeared, although it's clear that they needed somewhere for the Dixie decals when the doors were taken off.
