Rosco83522
I don't remember for sure when but it was either season 1 or 2 and they were showing the Dukes twice a day so they ended up coming in 1st and 2nd in the Nelson ratings for that week. RogerDuke
Hmmm, that doesn't sound right. I don't ever remember them showing Dukes twice a week, let alone twice a day. I do know that they were shown daily in the afternoons in 1985 because I was watching them around 5pm when the electric went out and my hometown (3 miles away) was destroyed by a tornado. At the time I thought that I was having bad luck, missing my Dukes. I didn't find out until later that there was a lot of folks having a lot worse luck than me that day.I bet there was a week where they had two new episodes in one week. That sounds more like it. The more I think about it, the more it's ringing a distant bell.

DaneyDuke
Thanks for sharing! Link DOH epguide ~title & airdate version~ 3rd season Enos Strate to the Top 11/5/80The Hazzardville Horror 11/7/804th season The Fugitive 11/3/81The Great Bank Robbery 11/6/816th season The Fortune Tellers 3/23/84Cooter's Confession 3/24/84----Maybe it was the show coming in #1 & #2 for the network one week? Broadcasting a new episode and then a rerun of another episode... Getting ranked over all the other shows, would be a great achievement. Especially if they were up against a new series that didn't do well. Hmm?
