The Carlisle Chrysler Nationals is a Mopar-lover’s paradise with attendees converging on the Fairgrounds from all over the world. This weekend-long event crosses all eras of the Chrysler marque from classic to muscle and everything in between.

Online showfield registration is now closed for the 2010 Carlisle Chrysler Nationals but you can still register either at the event or by calling our office at 717.243.7855. Please note: refunds will not be issued less than 19 days prior to the beginning of the event.

Good deal. I kinda had you in mind when I put the offer out there. Naturally we'll give you credit for your write-up and any photos you supply.

I used to get all over the country for these events, but I'm still dealing with some health challenges that have limited my travel. So I very much appreciate you giving us the fan's view of the gig.

In fact, the whole "Fan of the Month" thing started many years ago as a result of us meeting fans from around the world at cast appearances and at DukesFest. If you bump into a Dukes fan with a special story, we'd love it hear about it.

Has anyone else seen the news about an event in Sperryville VA?

Yes, and tell ya the truth, I was figuring on them releasing a bigger write-up on it. The one thing I take note of, is that it's called a Hazzard Homecoming and not DukesFest. Well, whatevah! Lemme tell it this way:

HAZZARD HOMECOMING! Sperryville, Virgina, August 13 & 14 2011! Join Ben "Cooter" Jones and Catherine "Daisy" Bach at the original site of DukesFest in Sperryville Virginia!

The rolling hills of the Blue Ridge Mountains will echo with the sounds of Dixie horns once again, as General Lees and Dukes fans from around the country gather together! Activities, entertainment, music, and down-home good times will be featured!

This shindig is still in the early stages ya'll, so more details will follow. For now, mark your calendars, dig out your Daisy Duke shorts, tune up your Dixie horns, and plan your life , or at least your summer, around this family friendly event. See ya'll there!

Here's a couple more:

The Hazzard BBQ- this has become a tradition, though it is much more low key than anything else. This year it will be held the weekend before Memorial Day (May 21?) at Cooter's Place in Nashville. My beau will be grillin up hot dogs and burgers for anyone who would like to come...there will be plenty of GLs, cop cars, food, probably door prizes, etc. Ben "Cooter" Jones....and more than likely Rick Hurst too...will be there so its a great way to meet some stars and some friends....plus eat some great food (not that I am biased in any way).

The Hazzard Run will be Oct 8-9. Basically every kind of Hazzard County vehicle will make tracks from Cooters in Nashville to Cooters in Gatlinburg, ending with a parade of GLs down the main street in Gatlinburg. More details to come, but you dont want to miss this either. Last year, Ben, Rick and Don Pedro were CBing one another the whole route...and of course you have opportunities for autographs, putput and gokarts....I know Steve and I will be attending both with the GL for sure... and Zoe (my Duke lovin cocker spaniel) will be there too.....hope to see you all there

I am currently deployed in Iraq. I was looking for someplace to take them when I get home. This would be perfect.
