I want to get us a house near Uncle Jesse's, but I just ain't got money for it. But It's all right. Uncle Jesse doesn't mind and I help him in the fields

When she gets older I might think about adopting another, but right now it's me and her. I really care about those kids Julie. I know I had my dad, but other than him everyother guy i've gotten close too has hurt me. I know it probably sounds weird, but I understand what these kids are going through and I want to give them a better life even if it's just hanging around the orphanage.
