Luke sighed rolling his eyes a little at her.

Daisy chuckled and ruffled his hair with a grin before heading out the room.

"You best clean yer plate or you'll have Jaime t'answer to...she helped me make it t'day an' she'll be insulted if ya don't eat it."

"Ill do my best," he answered picking up his fork and starting to eat.

Daisy nodded and headed out the room with a smile, giving a thumbs up to Jaime who was eating her own at the table.

Luke continued eating, more hungry than he realized. He longed to talk to Bo though, still feeling hurt by him, and worried for his uncle.

Jaime soon finished up and washed her plate up carefully, taking a deep breath before heading into the room and saying softly.

"Daddy?"

"Hey," he said softly, patting a space on the bed beside him.

Jaime swallowed and crossed over, sitting down on the space that he indicated gingerly.

Luke looked at her with clear blue eyes. "Dinner was good," he offered softly.

Jaime nodded a little.

"I'm learnin'...slowly...but i'm learnin'...Aunt Daisy's teachin' me lots..."

Luke nodded a little playing with the rest of his food.

Jaime sighed softly, swallowing gently before saying.

"Daddy...I am sorry about last night...I did just lose track of time..."

"I know.." he said softly swallowing a little.

"I swear we ain't done nothin'...and we ain't gonna either...Jason knows better than that...he aint like every other guy..."

Jaime insisted, wanting badly for Luke to like Jason.

Luke sighed. " Jaime...ain't no guy gonna be good enougfh for you in my eyes..."

Jaime sighed

"You don;t have to bite every guy's head off that brings me home late though...Jason knew the mistake he made an' came an' apologised for it..."

"I didn't bite his head off...I went easy on him," informed Luke

Jaime raised an eyebrow and looked to him.

"Oh yeah sure...next yer gonna tell me shootin' at him with yer bow and arrow is goin' easy on him too..."

Luke gave her a look. "Don't get smart."

Jaime sighed and looked away again.

"I just wanted you to like him Daddy...I do..."

"I know you do...and he likes you too."

"But what good is that if you don't...I can't be happy knowin' you don't approve..."

She mumbled softly, looking away.

"I approve of him fine...what I don't approve is you bein out all hours of the night an me not knowing where ya are..."

"I was only 45 minutes late Daddy...wasn't like I came home at 6 in the mornin'.."

"Jaime...you heard what I told him...you are the most precious thing to me...now maybe I am a bit protective sometimes...." began Luke.
