Jenni raised her eyebrows a little, knpwing full well that Bo had agreed to have custody but Bo hadn't wanted her to tell Luke.

"Well....I guess they must have gotten them sorted out before..."

"Well...Jaime'll be happy..." he said not sure if he was up to fathering Troy already with all the stress he was already under but willing to try.

Jenni raised her eyebrows, shaking her head a little.

"Luke...what're you talkin' about?"

"Jaime wanted a little brother..."

Jenni bit her lip, shaking her head.

"Well...unless me an' you get married real quick and get pretty busy...that's not gonna happen...Troy got adopted by another family...."

"He did...but they said...they wanted him with relatives...why...why would they just give him to another when a relative wanted him?!" demanded Luke.

"Well...at the time, if the adoption papers were signed before we found out about Bo...then they have a legal contract...it could have been arranged before Troy was even left at the hospital..."

Jenni explained gently, hating that she had to lie.

"That ain't fair! He's a Duke! he belongs with us!"

Jenni nodded a little, sighing softly.

"I'm sorry..."

"Me too," he said thinking how he should have acted sooner.

Jenni sighed softly.

"Look....i'll see what I can do at the hospital if you want..."

She said, knowing that Bo was gonna be bringing Troy back home once he was better.

Luke ran a hand down his face. He wasn't sure what he wanted anymore. All he knew was that he was stessed out.

Jenni bit her lip and gently stood up, going to the head of the bed and sitting Luke up carefully, sat slightly behind him and started to gently massage his shoulders and neck.

Luke winced slightly ot having realized how tense he was.

"Just relax a bit Luke....close your eyes and don't think of anything..."

Jenni whispered softly, gentling her touches more as she massaged his shoulders.

Luke closed hs eyes but to say he wasn't thinking of anything would be a lie. At the moment he was thinking how nice her hands felt and how it had been a long time since he felt this strongly for a woman.

Jenni continued to work his tense muscles, feeling them relax more and more under her hands with a small smile.

Eventually Luke closed his hands over hers looking up at her swallowing.

Jenni smiled down at him, kissing his forehead softly.

Luke's hand made its way to her face and rested on her cheek as she kissed him, a shiver running up his spine.

Jenni bit her lip softly, gazing into his soft sapphire eyes before turning her head and kissing his palm gently.

Luke leaned back into her a little, kissing her lips gently.

Still smiling ever so slightly, Jenni kissed him gently back....there were so many times during their childhood when she had seen Luke with his lips locked onto some other girls when she had wished it had been her in their place instead of just being at his side as a good friend. Now that it was happening to her, she couldn't help but feel elated that finally her wish had come true.

Luke swallowed gently as she returned the kiss before turning slightly and pulling her closer kissing her tenderly.

Jenni returned the kiss just as tenderly, still rubbing her hands across his shoulders softly and soothingly as she felt him hold her closer.
