October 23, 200718 yr Author Luke sighed but nodded settling into thebed as much as he could frowning a little as he moved his leg, the pain medication evidentally had worn off.
October 23, 200718 yr Bo watched him for a moment before asking gently."You need some more pain killers?"
October 23, 200718 yr Author Luke sighed hating to give in to the pain but noded a little. "Seem t be wearin' off..."
October 23, 200718 yr At that moment, Jaime walked in with a glass of water and two tablets clenched gently in her hand. She looked over sheepishly and held them out to him."Kinda thought you might need them...you get little crease lines in the corners of yer eyes when yer in pain or ya smile..."
October 23, 200718 yr Author Luke smiled a little. "Thanks sweetheart," he said softly holdng his hand out for them.
October 23, 200718 yr Author Luke took the pills manfully, drinking down the water. Then, wincing slightly he scooted himself back down onto his bed with a sigh.
October 23, 200718 yr Jaime took the glass back and headed out the room, putting it into the sink and then heading to her room without another word.
October 23, 200718 yr Bo watched the both of them, knowing it would be best to leave it til morning to get them together to talk. Carefully he fluffed Luke's pillow up a little and gently helped him find a position to lay down in."You better get some sleep.."
October 23, 200718 yr Author Luke laid against the pillow nodding a little. He hated the mollycoddling...and the fact that he had to rely on people was really doing him in on top of everything else...but he said nothing about it.
October 23, 200718 yr Author Daisy was sitting in the barn loft sniffing softly hoping Bo was able to smooth things over.
October 24, 200718 yr Bo headed out there once he had checked that Jaime was safely in bed, tucked in and asleep, climbing up to the loft and saying softly,"You can come outta hidin' now..."
October 24, 200718 yr Bo nodded a little,"Yeah...he was real angry at first but that's more because he's stressed than anythin' else...I explained why ya did it an' all an' made him see sense..."
October 24, 200718 yr Bo nodded with a chuckle, sitting on the edge of the hayloft."I'm sure...he's gonna want words in the mornin'...but like I said the only reason he was so angry is because he's tired and stressed out.."
October 24, 200718 yr Author Daisy returned the hug sniffing but saying in a tone anything but sad. "Just 'cuz he's stressed he don't gotta take it out on everyone else..."
October 24, 200718 yr Bo nodded softly, rubbing her back gently."Don't be so hard on him Daisy....I've given him a hard time t'day, now this with Jaime...Uncle Jesse...its gettin' to him..."
