Jaime bit her lip finding it harder and harder to not like Jenni. "Thanks."

Jenni nodded

"No problem...I know how hard school life can be at the best of times without adding more problems to the mix..."

She said softly with a smile before heading in to see Luke.

"Well hey there Mr Miserable..."

Luke looked up from his bed forcing a smile for her. "Hey yourself."

Jenni shook her head and sat down next to him on the edge of the bed, putting the bag by her feet.

"So your all down an' miserable huh?"

"Had better days," replied Luke simply

Jenni nodded gently.

"Well I think I made Jamie's day a bit better..."

Luke looked at her. "How'd ya manage that?"

"I gave her a cream that'll help lighten her scars a little." She said with a smile, shrugging. "Like I told her...school can be tough at the best of times without adding things....now...lets see about your foot shall we...how's the cast feeling?"

"Rotten... I want out of it," said Luke with a scowl.

Jenni chuckled a little, carefully looking over his foot and the cast.

"Well it doesn't seem to be loose which is good...but you wont be able to have it off for at least another 6 weeks unfortunatly..."

Luke muttered something under his breath- 6 weeks...it might as well have been a lifetime.

Jenni chuckled, hearing him mutter.

"Sorry I have to give you such bad news...and dont mutter things under yer breath, I've heard near everything you can throw at me from people in casts..."

"Uncle Jesse taught me not t say what I just said in front of a lady," explained Luke softly.

Jenni looked to him with a smile.

"Ever heard of a thing called doctor patient confidentiality? I can't say anything to him...plus it's better to get yer frustrations out than keep them in...."

"S'everythin..." he said with a sigh. "Bo specially."

Jenni nodded a little and looked to him, gently replacing his foot on the pillow after checking the cast over.

"Tell me..."

"Jesse...he's bad sick...an I tried...t handle it...Bo...got mad..."

Jenni raised an eyebrow, folding her arms a little.

"So...you mean by handling it...you kept it from everyone in the family..."

"I just though...it'd be best...an with Troy..." he sighed. "Don't matter...I'm gonna be wrong for it no matter what I say anyway..."

Jenni sighed softly and leant back on the bed a little, careful of Luke's foot.

"Well...your not totally wrong in doing that...you're just trying to protect your family...there's nothing wrong with that...but at the same time...I don't think you really thought it through...which is strange because you were always the one who drew up a plan and knew all the consequences..."

"Yeah well...I guess I aint been myself lately..." he answered softly.

"Mmm...well things'll get better you'll see...someone adopted Troy today so I guess that's one less weight off of Bo's mind..."

She said with a smile.

"Wh-what? B-but they said....the papers wouldn't..." Luke looked at her a confused and worried look on his face.

Jenni frowned and looked to him.

"What's the matter?"

"I was gonna adopt him...they said I'd have to wait for the papers...." he answered looking at her confused.
