Just take it easy nothin's gonna hurt ya except yer liable ta hurt yerself not paying attention where your going." No matter how much Bo struggled Luke wouldn't let him go he just held the younger man that much tighter determined not to let him run off and hurt himself in his panicked state. BoJamesDuke Posted March 6, 2007 Author Report Share Posted March 6, 2007 Bo fought a little longer until his brain registared it was Luke talking and Luke's firm grip holding him down to keep him from hurting himself. He didn't let Bo go completely just stopped holding him with so much force but continued to talk soothingly. He knew it was just Daisy in that mask but still the shock of having her jump out had set him off, and he felt so very ashamed of that. B.L. Davenport Posted March 7, 2007 Report Share Posted March 7, 2007 Luke shifted off Bo, pulling the younger man into a tight hug rocking slightly as he rubbed small soothing circles on Bo's back. He hoped Jesse called a stop to all this at least for the day he didn't think Bo could take anymore. After a while Jesse and Luke helped Bo to his feet and guided him inside helping him to the couch to lay down for a while and get himself completely settled down. He lay down on the couch and swallowed gently, looking to Daisy as she sat on the floor beside him and smiled a little, trying to reassure her it wasn't her fault. Reaching over he smoothed a hand down Daisy's hair trying to reassure her with his touch that Bo was going to be ok and that it wasn't her fault that Bo had reacted so badly. Jesse stood in the doorframe of the kitchen that led into the livingroom watching the three of them wondering if he was doing the right thing afterall maybe Bo really did need professional help. Once satisfied his 'kids were all as well as they could be for the moment especially the youngest Jesse slipped back into the kitchen to cook the evening meal even though it wasn't likely that any of them would be all that hungry. He knew if he ordered it then Luke would obey he wouldn't like it but he'd obey just the same. Jesse's kids never disobeyed a direct order well most of the time so they would just have to count on Luke not disobeying this time if it came down to Jesse having to make it an order that Bo get professional help. BoJamesDuke Posted March 12, 2007 Author Report Share Posted March 12, 2007 *One Week Later*Daisy winced as she kept her back to the argument going on behind her, hearing the door slam as Bo ran out of it and her older cousin yelling angrily back at Jesse, all thoughts of respect and obeying orders gone as the two faced off in the biggest battle of determination she had ever seen the two have. Luke was practically the co-patriarch of the Duke Family, the cousins went to him for advice as much as they did Jesse, and sometimes Jesse even went to Luke if there was something he needed to figure out with some help. But now the two heads of the family were dead set against each other.Swiftly she ran after Bo, not liking to leave him alone in his condition.---Jesse shook his head as Luke yelled back at him, saying just as angrily back."Now you listen to me Lukas Kevin Duke...I don't like the idea of sending Bo to those people anymore than you do but we just ain't makin' any progress with him, in fact he seems to be gettin' worse if anything! You heard the doctors, he nearly had a heart attack the last time we did this and there's some other complication that they are not eligible to say to us as per Bo's request that they don't! We just have to give it more time we knew it wasn't going to all be ok in a week or even two. It may be months before Bo's ok again but he will be and without the help of some shrink too!"Luke shouted back at Jesse angrily he couldn't believe Jesse was suggesting they send Bo away for strangers to try to help him. He knew Bo wouldn't faire well in those conditions he would only be worse he'd never been comfortable with anyone other than his family helping him with his problems. B.L. pulled up in the Duke driveway just in time to see Bo dart across the yard and Daisy following him. She'd been coming to see if the Duke cousins wanted to go for an icecream it had been a week since she'd snuck Bo out of the house and thought he was about due for another outing. Getting out of the car eyes following Bo."Where's he goin' in such a hurry?"She asked Daisy who looked about wore to a frazzle emotionally for some reason and there was sounds of shouting coming from inside the house. J.D is breathing down our necks for the mortgage payment as it as and trying to help Bo and run the farm is too much for this family to do! Daisy's already worn down as it is with working extra shifts to cover the losses we're making where we cant concentrate on the farm!
