I saw a preview last night for a new show on Fox called Standoff. In the preview Tom Wopat appears to be playing a bad guy in one of the episodes. Not sure which one, but the show will be airing on Tuesday nights this fall on Fox.

Are you sure it was him? I don't see anything about it on imdb.com?

I saw it also, it was definitely him. If I remember the discussion from the Tomtown group on yahoo, this is going to be the pilot. I'm not 100% sure about that though.

I am 100% sure. He appears to be in a red or burgandy SUV of some type. It shows him stepping out of it with a gun in hand.

Wow, that's gonna be really interesting to see Tom as a bad guy.

All the commercial says is coming Tuesdays this fall. The show is about a pair of hostage negotiators. He is playing a bad guy opposite them.

Tom will play Mr Keesler in the premiere episode on September 5, 2006 at 9:00 / 8:00C on Fox.

I will definitely watch. Hopefully a Canadian channel will pick that series up or I'll tape it at my folks' house.

So did anyone watch Tom in Standoff? I did and thought he was very good as the bad guy. I wished his part had lasted a little longer it seemed to me that the other crisis situations lasted longer.

I watched Tom on Tuesday too. I thought he made a very compelling bad guy. He looked so sad at the end of his very short time on screen.
