Heart of the Ocean necklace scene.

Rose DeWitt Bukater:"Jack, I want to draw me like one of your French girls. Wearing this."

Jack Dawson:"Alright."

Rose DeWitt Bukater:"Wearing ONLY this!" (Throws a dime at Jack who catches it.)"As a paying customer, I expect to get what I want."

I know this isn't funny and I shouldn't laugh out of respect for all died on Titanic, but I busted a gut at a friend's meme joke. "What do you get when you cross the Atlantic with the Titanic? About halfway.

I think what sank the Titanic, the costly grave mistake was reversing the engine (Don't know if this really happened or not per James Cameron's movie). But if it did really happen, that was a costly grave mistake. Lost speed and their own wake/slipstream from traveling the fast knots they were going drifted them right to the iceberg. Put them on a collision course with it. Stood better chances of just remaining forward full speed and just trying to turn around it I think.

Captain Smith:"And how many aboard Mr. Murdock?"

First Officer Murdock:"2,200 souls onboard sir."

Captain Smith:"Well, I believe you may get your headlines Mr. Ismay." (Change VHS tapes)

This is wild and crazy and her prediction came true too! 😲 I heard a real life Titanic passenger had a premonition of something terrible gonna happen at night. So she stayed awake at nights and slept during the day time. Something terrible did happen too and at night like she sensed. 😲

Pretty scary huh about that passenger lady sensing something terrible. 😲

Or just a coincidence. It's hardly surprising that one of the over 1300 passengers on board feared something like this happening.

Yep. In retrospect, it's eerie though.

I just saw the happiest thing on YouTube. A YouTube short called Titanic fans Dream about Jack and Rose having their happily ever after and they had 2 little Jacks and 1 little Rose. 😲 I wonder how that YouTube short Titanic Fans Dream was made? It's obviously A. I. Leo and Kate looked real but the children were probably A. I./CGI?

Thomas Andrews: "Mr. Lightoller! Why are the boats being launched half full? There, look! 20 or so, in a boat built for 65? And I saw one boat with only twelve. Twelve!"

Officer Lightoller: "Well, we weren't sure of the weight, Mr. Andrews, these boats may buckle."

Thomas Andrews: "Rubbish! These boats were tested in Belfast with the weight of 70 men! Now fill these boats, Mr. Lightoller, for God's sake man!"

Charles Lightoller: "Yes... Sir!"

Titanic (1997)

Captain Smith:"Clear."

Second Officer Charles Herbert Lightoller:"Yes. I don't think I've ever seen such a flat calm."

Smith:"Like a mill pond, not a breath of wind."

Second Officer Charles Herbert Lightoller:"It will make the bergs harder to see... with no breaking water at the base."

Smith:"Hmm. Well, I'm off. Mantain speed and heading, Mr. Lightoller."

Second Officer Charles Herbert Lightoller:"Yes, sir."

Did you know the Lemon Tea scene served a purpose as did every scene James Cameron shot. The Lemon Tea scene with Captain Smith playing with the Lemon slice with his spoon, the cup of Tea represents the ocean, and the Lemon under the Tea represents the part of the iceberg underneath the water. The scene is a representation of visibility.

My new toy I picked up yesterday Tuesday, January 20, 2026. Can't put it down. Need to find the first 2 Titanic Books Novels. The series is:

1. Titanic Unsinkable

2. Titanic Collision Course

3. Titanic S. O. S. (I found this one. It's hard to put it down.) 😲
