you're right Redneck woman, I just got season 2 and 3 and the dukes were chasing Rosco in Grannie annie, on tv that part is cut out, that is why i could not remember. On my season two, of the dukes I finally get to see my dukes uncut, and that's where I saw that one 2. So now we got the 4, anyone remember anymore? 1) ONE ARMED BANDIT- where the boys chase cooter in the sheriffs car 2) MY SON BO HOGG- where luke chases Rosco to report Bo missing 3) BIRD'S GOTTA FLY- when the dukes chase Roscoe before they get Daisy's racing contract recorded in Atlanta 4) GRANNIE ANNIE- finaaly got to see the uncut side of it, where the dukes chase after Roscoe to get the plates and Rosco makes a jumping escape, leaving the dukes behind, due to a leaking oil seal! Any more memories of the General chasing the sherrifs car????/

the 2006 charger sucks, why didn't they stay close to "The look", like they plan on doing with the challenger pictured here!

Tombo, this is my life long dream to do like you, and have a charger sitting on a car ramp for my home town to see,and if everything goes well,I will find one this summer,'cause I'm going charger hunting next month!

I agree cooter, that just makes me cry. Mind you if I found one, i would get it. just would be hard to restore with all the parts I'd have to buy. I don't care how rusted it is, but I want one that has all the body parts at least!

Good news, that wasn't a blooper and that probably wasn't a real tray, so luke wouldn't get hurt. As for the boots, i run around on slick shoes and slide at times, but it's all in the footing,you get used to slick shoes/boots!

Redneck woman, I do remember Rosco chasing the boys after they escaped from grannies house. When Rosco almost caught up with the boys, they played tag with rosco, and veered to the right and Rosco almost went over the ledge. That.s when Boss called him on the radio! While boss was telling him to hurry, Rosco was spinning his wheels,litterely...lol,then off to the boars nest he goes to meet boss and the buyer! Bo And Luke followed rosco to the boars nest after hearing the transaction on the radio,and while boss made his deal, Cooter's causin tampered with the buyers car. So if that's what you meant, yeah Bo and luke followed Rosco to the boars nest, but was not chasing him!

I do remember a time when Boss hogg went into hiding so he wouldn't have to show up in court, and would get Jessie's farm! Bo hid in the Roscoe's car and Luke followed in The General. Then Rosco got lost and stopped his car, and poor Luke was to close and stopped right behind him. Rosco took off in a panic and Luke gave chase in the General Lee, only to lose him again when this truck got in Lukes way! I think this makes it # 4,anyone have any more!!!!

I remember Rosco saying that line, but not so sure it was in grannie annie episode. The show starts off where Bo and Luke did some roof work for her, and she paid them for their work. Then they go to the bar and buy beer with that money wich ends up being checked by the bartender! Then Rosco follows the dukes,wich is easy enough 'cause the general was losing oil. The boys find out about the plates and Rosco shows up at that moment. The dukes get away, Enos arrested granny and Rosco chases the boys, untill he got a call from boss to hurry up with the plates, that the buyer was comming. Then the buyer gets the plates and The dukes make a plot to get them back. The dukes tinker with the buyers car, and with the help of cooter's causin, they get the plates back. This of course results in Rosco being Tied up and Boss being kidnapped. So after Rosco could tell the dukes, they chased after boss to save his life. So I don't think it was that episode that the dukes chased the sherrif!

Do you realise Rosco says that many of times in a lot of the episodes??? If you have any on dvd or vhs, should be easy enough to record them! I taped a whole show on one regular tape just to listen to it on my cassette sterio player. I felt like I was in the '50's listening to shows on the radio, it was so cool !

A prequel would be very cool and would explain how Bo and luke got caught and have a probation chain over their heads. But they never ran moonshine with the General Lee, they ran moonshine long before the General ever came to being. So don't use the orange charger in the prequel use uncle jessie 's "Black Tillie" or some other fast car. Always wanted them to do a movie where we see the life of the dukes while they ran moonshine and how they finally got caught and capt, this movie would kick the new dukes movie out into space. I bet a lot of action then, and toward the end of the movie, when the dukes are set free under conditions of their probation, they could introduce the making of the General Lee.

Just remembered another episode where the dukes chase the sherriff. "Bird must fly" That's when Molly recruits Daisy to enter the nascar race.Molly ends up siging 50% of daisy's contract due to the damage his goons done to Molly's car. Bo And luke find out that Boss is headed to Atlanta to record Dais'y racing contract with the racing commitee. So Bo and luke give chase as Boss says he got the contract for 7 years,then rosco says,"It's not the next 7 years I'm worried about boss, it's the next 7 minutes....." That's where you see the General Lee giving chase to Rosco. O.k. Got to rememeber the last one I forgot. I had 4 off the tip of my tongue, just can't get it. Anyone else remember any chases of The general after the sheriff???

Nothing I can say about the dings and bent metal,except to say, I never paid no mind to the impossible,but the family feeling I had and still have for the dukes, the cooter Idea sounds great for defense....

According to the Episode in" Happy Birthday General Lee" they were not on probation at that time. Well sorta,you see, at the start of the show Bo and luke arrive at the farm, Daisy,Jessie,Cooter are there to celebrate the 8 yrs of the general being in the family! When they start to remembering it, it starts with Bo and luke Being chased By boss and Rosco. Bo was driving a pick up then,Boss was skinny and Rosco wore a mustache. At that time they were not on probation. I can't remember ever seing them get caught with moonshine and being arrested and let go with a prabation lock on them for what seems like forever. They must have been put on probation after they got the General Lee,'cause they were not on probation before they got the car!

Deathangel.....you said, Ok got one for you. It's a Coy and Vance ep. 'Revenge of Hugie Hogg' The boys and Hugie's henchmen mix it up and they get all covered in gunk. They go to their respective cars all full of the gunk, both parties, but when the camera cuts to the chase scene they're cleaner then when they started the show. Sorry I don't do coy and vance scenes, only watch 3 of their shows and never liked them at all, so never watched again untill Bo And Luke came back!!!

OOOPs, I am way behind.....lol! I'll start with marry anne! Why would Daisy say in the episode "Daisy's Shotgun Wedding" that she'd been working at the Boar's Nest for five years and could handle herself. (This is during the scene when she smashes the beer pitcher over Milo's head)....yet in the episode "Happy Birthday, General Lee" (which aired after DSW) we learn that Daisy started working at the Boar's Nest at the time the boys got the General which would've been 8 years previous. The timing of the shows may have been out of wack, but if you remember in "Happy Birthday General Lee", Uncle jessie was gona ask J.D. for a loan for the boys. J.D. was being unreasonable untill Daisy offered to work at the boars nest, if he agreed to jessie's deal. In Happy b-day general, it was 8 years they had him, so her saying she can defend herself due to her 5 years working there only proves they showed the wrong episode in the wrong order????

When I finally get my charger this summer, it will never be a daily driver. 1. Could not afford the insurance, have to put antique insurance on it,cost way more then just pl/pd liability. 2. With all the hard work I will be investing, would hate to see it be totaled in an accident,so costly to rebuild these days. 3.The price of gas is very disturbing andmaking it hard for anyone to even own a truck, let a long a '69 charger with a 440 in it So, I think I will drive it in the summer, and show it around in car shows,no daily driver with this one once I get my charger.(Wich i am getting this summer)!

I'm a fan of bothe the dukes and Knight Rider, haveing the General Lee and Kitt race would be just plain ridiculous. If Kitt races the General, he has to use his turbo,otherwise, he is not Kitt,what would be the point??? Oh By the way, does anyone have a pic of The General Lee when they converted it into 4x4 off road vehicle??? I can't find any pics of that anywheres? I forget the name of the epsiode,but it was when women were stealing car parts and getting away in jeeps, remember that show gang??? Well I would love to have pics of the General high and mighty...lol! Hope someone has it ,please post if you do,thanks!!!

I prefer to have them painted. Sure it mean a lot of work, but man, so well worth it, and with a classic like the general lee, might as well go all the way!

I had posted in kats bloopers and it made me think of doing this. I WOULD LIKE FOR ANYONE WHO HAS SOMETHING TO SAY ABOUT BLOOPERS IN THE SERIES OF YOUR CHOICE. I WANT TO SEE HOW WELL I DEFEND WHAT YOU SAY AND WHAT YOU THINK OF MY DEFENSE. IT WILL REFRESH OUR MEMORIES OF THE SERIES,PLUS IT WILL KEEP THIS SITE GOING EVEN MORE. I'LL DO WHATEVER TO KEEP THIS SITE AND THE DUKES ALIVE!!!! Well kat,steal is working for Roscoe,so how straight can he be...lol. And the boys can't prove he stole their car,'cause they had no proof...so... And the dukes had a bad habit of leaving their keys in the ignition that day,worrying what steal had up his sleeve for them next. Yeah yeah,I know,there are plenty of bloopers,but I tend to defend and have all kind of answers when someone mentions them about the dukes. My step dad used to piss me off with that. Now being older,I over look it, and if I can justify defending some of the bloopers I will.....lol I have an answer for everything you know,..well except for some of the impossible conditon of the General after certain jumps...lol! All in fun,anyone dare me defend anymore bloopers....bring it on....lol!
