that's what is horrible that people would rather Dukes get all dust covered on a shelf and be forgotten as one of the last great family sit down television shows like I said I would rather it not for those of us that are involved in the whole shebang and really enjoy the show and its true meaning its a need of sorts to acknowledge that its still there and popular if that makes me sound devoted and a little crazy like ("cooter") (which now days is a naughty word sadly something so non bad sounding becoming a female part too wrong) I just believe that we need to stand up and show that we are not willing for the Dukes to go down and stay down that's just not the way I feel and I hope that its the same for all yall as well YB

I have played them all Redneck Girl they are all fun ROTGL is very satisfying course it was made in 04 I am trying to get midway games interested in making a new game fer all systems but all I have got from them is midway is currently not making any new Dukes games at the present time and as in my other posts some other members also threw their hands in with info they said that enough people have to be interested in a new game to get and economy is bad at the present so probably no big name games would be released soon I have been pleading with everyone on here to send a message to midway and joining my fight to get a new dukes game on the market I mean cmon they are releasing the new Ghostbusters game/movie ( this is the best GB fans will get until they decide to make a new movie if they ever will) but they are releasing it for all systems including ps2 I think so follow my lead go to midways homepage then go to contact us then scroll down to ask a ? then fill out all the info and tell them that they need a new game I am not sure how many have done this yet from here I even went out on a limb and messaged the Real BO duke John Schneider and asked for his assistance but I have heard nothing yet I had hoped that BO as interested in the franchise as he is would help us out I hope that you enjoy ROTGL I loved it I love beign able to loose Roscoe and Enos just pull out classic moves like you would see on the show I have been driving along and did a quick spin hit the nitro and headed the other way and you will love the BIG BIG jumps course I hit the nitro before the end of the jump or when on a race I try to cut around and go off road a little and I will be in 1st for shure please write to midway get them interested in a new game if we get enough thy might finally see it our way good luck

I have finally gotten a response not really the one that I had hoped for but one all the same on my last message that I sent to Midway I received this there are no current plans to release a Dukes of Hazzard video game please check back at their website for updates and info well upon this we must strive harder we have to get them interested to them they would rather Dukes get all dust covered on a shelf and forget about it to us that enjoy the show and love all things involved with Dukes we must push the issue please go to their website go to the contact us then ask a ? area then mention that we need a new game get their interests peaked to make another I have not heard from John yet on his involvement yet but I hope that he helps I know that he still is involved with Dukes where he can I don't know maybe I am crazy for believing that another game is possible and should drop the issue but I still believe and as long as you hold on to your beliefs that nothing is impossible if you are interested in pushing the issue for a new game please send a message to midway and let them know please get involved thanks YB

ok I sent another message to Midway in hopes of them getting the bigger picture for a new game we have not seen a new one since 2004 and its long overdue I also used ideas that I have gotten from ppl that have responded to my messages I thought of you as well and put those in there as well and hopefully they will see how important it is to us that we need to kep the Dukes spirit alive and kicking because I sure as life itself don't want to see the General in a Rust pile send them your concerns YB

hey all yeah I know its been forever since I have gotten on the lines I have moved so I had to pack up all the cb gear and head for higher ground but that should have not kept me from checking in so my apologies ok so my fight continues with midway to get us a new Dukes game I have still heard nothing from them acknowledging a new game in the works but there is still a gleam in my heart that one day we will get that game I have also sent a message to Bo himself I am lucky enough to have sent John a message today and hopefully having him add me as a friend to myspace I already have him as a friend on his collier and co myspace but I now have the addy for him him and I told him about my plight to get us a new game and asked if him and the rest of the cast would join in the fight I know I am reaching here but its worth a shot and since they are an integral part of the show I thought that maybe there was a chance that they would help I also told him that a multi system game would be great so hopefully if all goes well and we get the game it will come out for Wii X-Box and PS3 please keep sending your messages to Midway games asking them for a new game so please do not think I have given up on this site and other Dukes fans that long for another game if you are interested in contacting them go to midways home page and go to the contact us area and if you like you can copy my message that I wrote explaining why we need another game and add your name telling them that you support a new game keep me posted with your progress keep em tween the ditches YoungBO __________________ " its like a bald tired semi on a mile of red asphalt" YEEEE HAWWWW

couzin Tim is also right about when they get the General but maybe they don't use the General right off the bat maybe they bring it in like the show states after thet probation ya never know

Hey yall Bo again just cuz it is a somewhat sequel we will see how it fares if sales for this DVD are above marginal then maybe they will retool and make a better movie than the original movie (sorry johnny and Stifler) it wasn't true to the dukes... But Willie Nelson as Uncle Jesse was ok he could've been more like the original again thats where Hollywood is set askew in my humble opinion STICK TO THE ORIGNAL PLOTLINES OF THE SHOW nothing more nothing less any way I am buyin the dvd just in case

thanks for your question in response no I have not yet got a response my email describd how since the return of the general lee and the buyout of ratbag the folks that made it Midway should make a dukes game and put more things that the show revolved around like the covert operations that the boys did to find out what old Boss and Rosco were up to. Also to be able to get in and out of the General kinda like a Grand theft auto type but dukes style through the windows and to be able to hood slide would be a plus. I don't know about yall but I actually enjoyed being able to control uncle jesse in the ROGL and that they should also make that a feature as well as a fightin system cuz yall know the boys can't stay out of trouble fir too long. I also mentioned that I was representing all yall on here that like me long for another game to keep the Spirit of the show in the public eye and not just on season dvd or movie but also to draw a younger audience that have seen the show and would like to get a chance to play the Famed General Lee thanks and please keep lettin me know of your support so I can keep fightin tooth and nail to get the game that we all want youngBO

Hey yall YoungBO here as alot of you know I have been on contact with Ratbag games that made the Return of the General Lee upon serveral days waiting I got a response that Midway games the folks that makes those Mortal kombat Games and such bought out Ratbag so I emailed midway games and still I am waiting but rest assured that I will not stop writing them until we have another game on the market I have also given them more idea's for a new game like being able to get out of the car quite like they did in ROGL where you got to control Uncle jessie and have missions where you sneek up to a place to find out stuff and being able to hood slide is a must but once again I will let yall know if and when I get a response and I will not stop our cause if yall are the Hazzard fans that I know yall are plz give me some feedback to what else you would like to see in the new game welll gotta go I hear Rosco's sirens and I gotta out Duke him give me as much feed back as possible youngBO yall can email me as well

hey cooter I found the vid on www.wimp.com which has other odder vids but they show the music video and the part in the movie where they are being chased by the cops in atlanta and they are power slidin but back to subject the general doesn't have its cb antenna its got the base unit but no antenna just thought yall like to know Bo

yeah and did any yall see the damaged doors when cooter said that the doors were out of order I it showed it I didn't catch it and another thing yall notice that the charger was named the general lee before the upgrades and the shabby 01 looked like spray paint t me but I still want to know why it was named the GL before it got the overhaul and everything right nice and cozy like we all know it cuz it didn't have the name above the doors or the Battle flag on the top so its a puzzle there just wantin to see if any yall caught it as well as I did

ok here is the update for here at least I talked to ratbag buy they have been bought out by midway games yall prob know them for the Moral Kombat games or the suffering I have sent an email to midway pleading our case to them about we all want a new dukes game soon if you eould like to know the rest I will post the update to yall when I get it
